I picked up the pro V2 from you earlier this year and I love it. I'm not ready to jump ship to the V3 once released, but all stainless components and the spare parts is a great upgrade.
Regarding the Canon Pro foam, does it work well with the 180 bar pressure device with its existing nozzles, or do I have to buy the 1.35 nozzle separately?
The 28mm is indeed for regular bottle, here it will be used to attache the soap bottle directly to the foam head, I guess it should be used with auto-mix tips like griots garage boos foam canon. By the way, I still have the old mjjc foam canon S, works just as new.
I can concur with this statement while adding an additional point. The 28mm is also used for RTU (Ready To Use) products such as Poly Gloss and others which do not require dilution. It's a great feature, however I wish it has actual threads like the THE BOSS Foam Cannon instead of a knotch which would prevent the bottle from falling out. This would greatly increase your range of motion while manipulating the pressure washer nozzle without having to hold the bottle in place in fear that it might fall out and spill our precious product.
Thanks for this video. You took a lot of time getting the information and also editing it to make a cohesive, understandable presentation. It clearly took a lot of work. Thanks again.
Doesn’t sound like it. I’ve been in contact with the factory and they still haven’t released it yet unfortunately. Once they do it’s about another month before any stock is in the us
@imjoshv have you put the metering tips from griot on a jmmv Pro to see if it works. Really want a self metering foamer that allows change from vertical to horizontal foam spray
Mjjc has their own red insert tips on their website. Is this the same as the griots auto metering tips that get installed in the bottles straw? Will they work with the v3? Currently in run griits metering tips in my v3.
Have you tried Koch-Chemie (PW protector wax) I stumbled on to it after looking into Koch-Chemie after seeing you mention some of their products in your videos. Seems like a spray on with a foam cannon let sit for bit and rinse off wax protectant. See like the easy apply wax/protectant I might be looking for.

I can't imagine making more foam than the V2. I use the Pro V2, and with only 2 oz of foam concentrate (Adam's Mega Foam), it's almost TOO much. I've considered cutting back to 1.5 oz.
Great video as always!! I was wondering is it possible to get any extra bottles for these foam cannons? Thanks again!! Hope the storm doesn't cause you and your family any problems!! Be safe!!
Quick question? I have the MJJC PRO V 2. I prefoamed and I used all the solution. I rinsed. I foamed for wash and used all the solution. Is that normal?
Like for the s v2? Or is the new pro v3 bottle going to work with the s v3? I’m not sure cause i don’t have the exact size of the new bottle yet, but if it the same 1/4 turn connection that bottle may work with s v3
I don’t even have a foam cannon yet, I was going to buy one and now this… so should I wait? I don’t feel like buying a foam cannon twice. Just want one of or the best, buy it once and it last for years.
Hi JOSH, I have built/modified a foam cannon myself! it can produce thick foam on a 350psi 1gpm cordless battery washer,at the same time it using less shampoo. Do u mind have a test on it ?
What is actually inside the top part that makes the foam? And is this the only part that makes a difference? Bottles are basically the same, connections are the same, knob to adjust the water volume is the same, adjustable spray tip is the same. Am I missing something about what makes them different?
Random question, I have an MTM foam canon with an active pressure washer setup, I recently switched to a 1.1 orifice but my foam still sucks. Any advice?
@@imjoshv chemical guys mr pink. But honestly I’ve felt like it doesn’t mix well in the foam canon. Ill squeeze a drop or two in there and it almost just floats around for awhile before it actually starts to turn to soapy water. Thoughts?
Yea I think the pro v3 will have that really wide base shape. For the s v3 when comparing it to the s v2 they did make it wider. I think they keep the widest base for their pro line.
Go to the video where he reviews that pressure washer and Josh tells you in the video. I think you had to comment on the video--I don't remember exactly what it was.
It has been a long wait. Originally they said December 2023 because they had a busy year, then early spring 2024 because a part didn’t pass quality control and now June.
Well looks like after watching hours and hours of your videos I have come to the conclusion to buy the active 2.0 with your recommended upgrades believe with the three vehicles I have to take care of should last for a while thanks for all you do to help out us weekend warriors keep up the good work
It's an overpay but you do you dawg. An 1800 psi Ryobi is sufficient. Upgrade the hose and gun, per Josh's recommendations. Then use it only to rinse the vehicle and for the tires. Go with a rinseless wash (I recommend Wolfgang Concours but ONR or McKee's is fine too) that has Si02 in it and you're golden.
Its a beast. I bought one after returning my $800 dollar Adams Pro Pressure Washer cause the stupid thing kept leaking and coming off the hose. On this one all the connections are tight and secure, the machine is super light and ez to pick up and move, has a long power chord for range, over a 150 more guaranteed hours than the other cheaper pressure washers, and a really good warranty policy. If anything happens Active will send you another one for free. Just make sure you don't use a 1.1mm orifice on your foam cannon as that will mess up the motor and cause damage.
Don't need to buy something just cause they updated it. As long as what you have works don't worry about it. I was using the cheap $9 foam cannon from Amazon that I got like 4 years ago until this summer. And even then I didn't need to get a new one.
Still not for a while. It was supposed to be November but some part of it didn’t pass their quality control so they are delaying it to make sure everything is right
Great video as always. However, I will stick with my ProV2. I much prefer the wider bottom for stability for one thing. The stainless is a nice feature, but with that said I've NEVER had any problems with the brass, so why change a good thing? And the fact that you brought up.... the quick remove bottle. IF, for some reason you wanted to put a different bottle on the ProV2, you could do it easily. Not so with that quick change top/bottle design. And lastly, it costs more. That's my take on it, and just my $0.02 worth.
I watched a video by Supercharged Llama Detailing the title of his video was DO NOT BUY THE MJJC V3.0S. I don’t know if you’ve viewed it but what he referenced when using the MJJC it left dry streaks and I wonder your thoughts of this.
Hmm. I haven’t seen that, but I’ve been using these for a long time now and never had any issues. If it’s leaving streaks that sounds like an issue with the soap. Since it produces so much foam maybe they were using too much soap which left residue??
Hey Josh, I've been running Car Wash Fundraisers for my unit and I been working on setting up a system that works well but isn't to complicated so it works when I'm gone. I have both of these models the v2 leaks like crazy though after I stop using it, it holds so much water in the head and the new design is heavy top and it always tilts over 🙄
@atrain132 I generally have mine so I get the most out of the cannon.(cut the water from the pressure washer to the least) and I've noticed if I unscrew the top of the cannon from the bottle I don't seem to get the leakage (which I'm glad because where I store it it had made a mess by leaking.)
Nah. I'll just stick with the PRO V2 that I bought from you last year. To improve it (V4?)? 1. Stainless internals and, 2. Quarter-turn on the large-based V2 bottle. I honestly do not know of any other improvements that could be made. Only a professional, everyday user would know --- like Josh.👍
1.35mm orifice is also needed for high PSI/GPM electric pressure washers that you can get now. Like the Greenworks 3000 PSI electric washer that I got from Costco.
Only if you get 2+ gpm. Otherwise a smaller nozzle is more beneficial for more, thicker foam. A smaller orifice changes the high psi/low gpm to less psi/more gpm
@@Tallnerdyguy This pressure washer definitely does more than 2+ gpm. IMJOSHV did tests of similar models showing this. Plus I have tested my unit with 1.1, 1.25, and 1.35 orifices in MJJC Pro 2.0 cannon and 1.35 definitely produces better quality foam, with 1.1 producing very low quality runny/watery foam.
