The issue is with the snowman trap, is that with the new 1.19 update there is a very concerning change, this means that the new pathfinding mechanic for snowmen will focus on other mobs rather than players itself, having the snowmen throw snowballs at the target to open a pitfall trap sounds creative and should work, unfortunately I'm not sure if it will work as with the max entity limit cram being set at 24 that means the snowman hit snowballs at an alarmingly slow rate Let's do some mathematics here A snowman fires a snowball every 1s then that means 24 snowballs per second, now if all the snowmen are loaded in at the same time that still leaves a 1s gap time period in between each snowball throw However a way around this could be to make a 5x5 outline of a square, centering the target block in order to load the snowmen in at a different time causing 24 (or even more as there are more available blocks) snowballs to be fired a second. In conclusion if the trap is set out like how I have explained, this should work like a charm, just don't forget to add dripstone to the bottom, or make it a void trap, add crafting tables or furnaces to the walls and add buttons or levers on the side so they can't block clutch To prevent pearling out, although your original design should prevent that, it could be possible so instead try making a pulse extensor with 2 comparators on subtract mode facing opposite ways with redstone dust between them, this will make a pulse extender causing the pitfall to reseal as the player falls Another alternative could be to use a tripwire hook to reverse the trap Hope this trap works rek!

As a Redstone Enthusiast the snowman trap is impeccable and how that snowmen will always update the block they are above to have a layer on snow, while this can be very useful and easy to set-up the fact that you have to convert worlds into 1.9.0 and back can be frustrating at times, yet this trap could fool even someone like mumbo jumbo. This seems like a flawless plan, but there's a major flaw with the snowman trap. With 1.19, the pathfinding along with the accuracy of the snow projectiles of the snow golems was changed. This poses a very serious risk for the trap. The accuracy of a snowmen's projectiles with the new 1.19 update is 50% accurate. If the snowman's projectile doesn't hit the player, the entire trap is ruined and the player won't fall in.
The snowmen are a pretty hard mob to get because the summoning method is changed. The pumpkin can't be dispensed onto the snow blocks anymore it was changed with the unreleased 1.21 update.
that snowman strat to generate powdered snow for the trap is an especially great idea, as it is very well hidden with how the new update works and can easily trap the most cautious of players, cant wait to see it in your next video
There are some MAJOR problems with this trap: 1. Enemies can hear the sound of snowballs 2. The timer will be off by a little because snowmen throw one snowball per second and the average player speed when they sprint while jumping is 7.127 blocks per second. 4. A lot of snowmen will die from entity cramming
Just an fyi snowmen can no longer be attached to a lead with your offhand. After a change in the code from 1.18+ you have to first use a splash potion of instant damage. Otherwise very informative video!
Love your ideas for all the snowman traps. While there are still parts of the traps that need to be worked on, the difficult part would be to pick the most effective trap. It’s still gonna be amazing to see them die to which ever trap you pick out tho

@@QuinticGhost actually no because you can waterlog signs with a source and if they hold space and right click on the sign (with a water bucket) then they can survive but buttons cannot be waterlogged and can only be destroyed by *flowing* water and if its all buttons no flowing water can appear unless placed on the pistons which is impossible since rek made it so they closed exactly after to prevent pearls and even if somehow they placed a bucket on the blocks the pistons would close and crush the water before it reached the falling player. (thats all one sentence)
The snowman trap seems really effective and the way it summons the warden to trick the player to run around and using the snowball projectiles from the snowman to hit them in the dripstone, however, you should put vines so that the snowmen don't entity cram and use a void trap instead as there is a higher success rate. Additionally, you could remove the signs and change it to buttons as there is a smaller hitbox so it is harder for somebody in free-fall to break the signs and thus the top snow being supported by said signs as the area is a 2x2. Finally, you shouldn't use leather boots on powdered snow as your escape route but rather an ender-pearl stasis chamber as it is more effective and it would be less suspicious, as people would find something off when a player in full diamond armour except and leather boots tries to show them a cave. Finally you should try this on a test subject such as McClutch and Spepticle as they are the most prone to falling for traps at a rate of a 90% fatality rate and 87.5% respectively, before trying on your subject who has a fatality rate of 12.5%. If you employ all my suggestions, your trap should work flawlessly. Good luck Rekrap2 and happy trapping!

Making a snowman when your older can still be enjoyable for example if your doing it with your kids or maybe even grandkids! What I'm trying to say is that no matter how old or what hobbies you normally do, snowmen are still fun to make.

I mean, your taking snow and putting them into large balls and stacking them on top of each other! Snow falls apart fast! Plus, you need carrots or coal for the eyes, theres so much that goes into making a snowman. Heres the best way I found to build one. Step one: Wait for winter Step two: Wait for a large amount of snow Step three: Get some friends Step four: Roll a large amount of snow together. This will be your base. Step five: Roll a smaller amount of snow together. Step six (this is the hard part): Have your friends help you pick up that ball of snow and place it on the other Step seven: Roll an even small amount of snow together. This will be the head. Step eight: Place the ball on top of the two others. Congrats! You have the base down. Step nine: Grab a carrot, and 2 large coal pieces and 10 small coal pieces. Step ten: Use the 2 large coal pieces as the eyes, the carrot as the nose, and arrange the 10 coal into a smile. Step eleven: Grab two sticks and place them on the side of the snowman for arms. Step twelve: Repeat UNTIL YOU HAVE AN ARMY OF SNOWMEN ON YOUR LAWN

1.19.2 actually decreased the firing accuracy of snowmen so that the centre of the aiming mechanism can have up to a one block offset, rendering this trap extremely hard to do.
One thing about the snowmen though, they don't actually work like how you said. You need to have them in an enclosed space so they don't have a wide firing range but if it is too small, the snowmen will hit each other and also get entity crammed although that can be fixed with vines placed on the walls of the chamber. Also if all of them fire at the same time there is more of a chance for the victim to react and get out in between shots. You can fix that by making a chunk loader nearby so they are already loaded in. The powdered snow idea is great, but doesn't really function how you said. If you add a target block to the back wall, the snowmen will hit it and open the void trap with pistons which should be easy considering your plan of having it be 4x4. For the possibility of the victim clutching on the wall, you could replace the walls with crafting tables and add buttons to them just to be safe. To prevent pearling out, add another layer of snow golems about halfway down with the same mechanism but instead of opening the pit, it blocks it back up after some delay of them falling down so there is no chance they get on top of it. About the skulk sensors, the detecting range was shortened in 1.19.1 so you should put the tnt a little bit closer, and putting a wool under the sensor should fix the other problem you were having. Another possibility for the skulk sensor would be to add more near the back wall so it is close enough to the snow golems for when they are activated and make it more likely that he falls in the event that the front ones don't get triggered. With those changes it should kill all of them, good luck on the execution though!
I forgot to mention that with your 3rd idea, the snow golems won't even fire at the zombies because of a concerning change in 1.19. Instead they will end up shooting each other ending with only one left. To solve that you should change the zombies to skeletons; they were overlooked by Mojang on that part of the update.
A snowman trap sounds very ridiculous but also hilariously funny. Just imagine getting trapped and 1000 snowmen keeps pummeling you into submission that you cant get out cuz ur screen just keeps freaking you over
The fact that the snowman trap was 3 ticks, and not 2 ticks. Was a mistake. Because the mechanism needs to be fast in order for it to work. It needs efficiency. Rek, you need to have 3 Iron Golems. And 265 Snow Golems for this trap to work. It can't work without it! And also make sure to add the Levers and Pressure plates! They are very crucial to the trap!
The snowman trap will most likely fail as in 1.19 they severely nerfed snowman knock back but, if u set the snowballs on fire using some netherack it just might do the trick.
My favorite snowman trap was the second idea you had. I'm sad it doesn't work anymore though since they changed a part of the way the trap works in the new 1.19 update.

Snow is easy to collect, but given how much snow you will need for this trap I highly doubt you will be able to pull this off. Also: 1.19 has made this trap almost impossible to do.

This is a great plan, but I don’t think it’ll work cause the mechanics for snowmen were changed in 1.19 and they cant hold items anymore, so you can’t give them TNT to blow people up.
But remember the projectiles unload when you’re too far away from the trap, Rekrap, so it’s like a 90% chance it would work but I’m not too sure I read the wiki about the 1.19 update, and it said that it’s a 50% percent chance the trap would work so too boost up these odds press f3 + g to see the amount of chunks you can load, you have to load maybe about 50 chunks so the odds about it working will be up to 90% percent You also have to adjust the redstone compactor to be a bit on the left so the snowman pushes the projectile exactly where you want it.
Dude speaking about Snowmen I made one when I was younger. Named it Timmy. It was by best friend. But I wasn't his best friend. He wanted another friend. So we made him Jimmy, another snowman. Then we went camping and came back in the summer. They were doing just fine but when winter came around again they had enough of the weather. They decided to join the annual Snowman Migration. They proceeded to head south and we never saw them again... But ya! Nice trap idea!

Bruh, you're gonna completely embarrass them with snowmen!!! That's the best thing I've heard in a loooooong while.
One thing about the snowmen though, they don't actually work like how you said. You need to have them in an enclosed space so they don't have a wide firing range but if it is too small, the snowmen will hit each other and also get entity crammed although that can be fixed with vines placed on the walls of the chamber.
Also if all of them fire at the same time there is more of a chance for the victim to react and get out in between shots. You can fix that by making a chunk loader nearby so they are already loaded in.
The powdered snow idea is great, but doesn't really function how you said. If you add a target block to the back wall, the snowmen will hit it and open the void trap with pistons which should be easy considering your plan of having it be 4x4.
For the possibility of the victim clutching on the wall, you could replace the walls with crafting tables and add buttons to them just to be safe.
To prevent pearling out, add another layer of snow golems about halfway down with the same mechanism but instead of opening the pit, it blocks it back up after some delay of them falling down so there is no chance they get on top of it.
About the skulk sensors, the detecting range was shortened in 1.19.1 so you should put the tnt a little bit closer, and putting a wool under the sensor should fix the other problem you were having.
Another possibility for the skulk sensor would be to add more near the back wall so it is close enough to the snow golems for when they are activated and make it more likely that he falls in the event that the front ones don't get triggered.
With those changes it should kill all of them, good luck on the execution though!
I forgot to mention that with your 3rd idea, the snow golems won't even fire at the zombies because of a concerning change in 1.19. Instead they will end up shooting each other ending with only one left. To solve that you should change the zombies to skeletons; they were overlooked by Mojang on that part of the update.

A snowman trap sounds very ridiculous but also hilariously funny. Just imagine getting trapped and 1000 snowmen keeps pummeling you into submission that you cant get out cuz ur screen just keeps freaking you over
The fact that the snowman trap was 3 ticks, and not 2 ticks. Was a mistake. Because the mechanism needs to be fast in order for it to work. It needs efficiency. Rek, you need to have 3 Iron Golems. And 265 Snow Golems for this trap to work. It can't work without it! And also make sure to add the Levers and Pressure plates! They are very crucial to the trap!

The snowman trap will most likely fail as in 1.19 they severely nerfed snowman knock back but, if u set the snowballs on fire using some netherack it just might do the trick.

Snow is easy to collect, but given how much snow you will need for this trap I highly doubt you will be able to pull this off. Also: 1.19 has made this trap almost impossible to do.

This is a great plan, but I don’t think it’ll work cause the mechanics for snowmen were changed in 1.19 and they cant hold items anymore, so you can’t give them TNT to blow people up.

The Snowman Trap is brilliant. So glad you found that Ilmango vid.
But remember the projectiles unload when you’re too far away from the trap, Rekrap, so it’s like a 90% chance it would work but I’m not too sure
I read the wiki about the 1.19 update, and it said that it’s a 50% percent chance the trap would work so too boost up these odds press f3 + g to see the amount of chunks you can load, you have to load maybe about 50 chunks so the odds about it working will be up to 90% percent
You also have to adjust the redstone compactor to be a bit on the left so the snowman pushes the projectile exactly where you want it.
Dude speaking about Snowmen I made one when I was younger. Named it Timmy. It was by best friend. But I wasn't his best friend. He wanted another friend. So we made him Jimmy, another snowman. Then we went camping and came back in the summer. They were doing just fine but when winter came around again they had enough of the weather. They decided to join the annual Snowman Migration. They proceeded to head south and we never saw them again... But ya! Nice trap idea!
