My physics teacher DOES NOT TEACH and i have to rely on these types of videos every time we have a quiz or a test. YOU are honestly an academic savior we didnt know we needed.
preparing for one of the toughest examinations in world (JEE ADVANCED) ,, and your lectures are really helping me bczz most of your videos are included in our syllabus
I enjoyed the video. I have not seen too many problems like the second one you did, but it was interesting. Most of the problem I have done on my videos are like the last one you did. Thanks.
In the first problem, could you also find the tension by using the negative of mg(since upwards is positive; g should be a negative acceleration) and then applying some trig since we already know our mass and angle of theta? I'm assume that the Ty component of the tension is just the opposite of mg. Thanks. Great channel and video!
When people talk about how much they weight they talk about how much kilograms they weight but kilograms are units of mass and weight are in units of force, newtons, because weight is a force. So, why do we refer to weight in units of kilograms instead of using units of newtons. In orher words, If I am 95Kg I should say I weight 931 newtons instead of saying I weight 95Kg. My mass is 95Kg and I weight 931N. Therefore, a scale is a mass measuring device and not a weight scale. When I buy 1kg of tomatos, I'm actually buying 9.8 newtons of tomatos.😮
sir, can you please explain an application if the block under the surface is also rotating from problem 3 ??? please, explain sir.... my test is coming close
Hello, Physics Ninja. Thanks for this awesome video. I understood everything explained in the video except for the last thing you mentioned about the mass m2 SPIRALLING DOWN. Could you kindly elaborate on that? Why will that mass m2 spiral down if the velocity is less? It would be of great help if you assist me with my question or refer me to another video or book for the explanation of my question. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing I needed help for the FE exam. I see you are Irish. well if I can boast I kissed the grave of Deloris O'Riordan and claimed her for myself. I took the spirit of Ireland for myself. Contact me if you want to see her grave granted you are aware of the spirit of Ireland. Thanks again and live well my friend.

one of the best channels on youtube about physics . Thank you Sir
Wow, thanks
🤗🥺 I was already on the point of giving up on my physics classes until I found this channel. Thank you so much. This means a lot to us students.
You got this!

Good luck, you’ve got this
Bro. You are literally crazy good at explaining this stuff. Love the format and love the clarity.
Finally found a video about the tension in centripetal motion! Thank you so much Physics Ninja!!!
You're the best teacher in the world ,thank u sir
This was the same thing on my physics midterm, thank you so much physics ninja!
Great news! I love hearing from viewers. I appreciate your comment, it motivates me to make more videos.
The same exact problem was on my test! This video was a life saver. Thank you soooo much.
I love when that happens!

Thanks Kenny. Nice to meet a fellow physics TH-camr. I checked out some of your vids. Keep up the good work!
why is Tx = Tsintheta and not Tcostheta ?
Same question here
Because right angled triangleis formed and Tx is opposite to the theta
So when using SOH CAH TOA you will find that side as Tsintheta no Tcostheta
Yes that right.... the components depends on an angle
Tx equal to sintheta thats correct
Sin theta = centripetal force = x component
great video. do more videos like this
Thanks, will do!
That was brilliant. Thanks
thank you so much. this topic is really difficult for me but this helped a lot

why can you just divide two equations like you showed on problem 1 and 2?
Such a good teacher, but bro, your bookshelf kills me 😭😆
Why didn't you use the length in the first problem to find Tx or Ty? Its the hypotenuse so why don't you just find ac that way?
Because it is the length, not the force of tension.
This helped me a lot, thank you :)
Perfect timing! Thank-you so much!
Why do people say tension is perpendicular to the bob in horizontal circular motion?
Can i ask what if the rod is in horizontal axis
i just dont get when the x component equals cos theta and when does it equal to sin theta. is there a fix rule?
Build a triangle of your system and remember SOH CAH TOA (ie. sin=opp/hyp)
my guy.... THANK U SO MUCH

People got lazy and decided to drop the little g.
how would you find how many seconds it would take for the puck to do one full revolution?? if there's a video on this can someone send the link??
V= 2.pi.R/T
Thank you so much for this video! It was extremely helpful and saved me a lot of time.

Why would the answer for (ii) only take into account equation for m2 when there is also a force labeled T extending from m1? 24:41
In problem 2, why the tension value T2 is lesser than T1
is your velocity accurate in part 2, i keep getting 3.07 m/s
Thanks for this
So helpful
sry i can be wrong but i think that tx= t cos theta , ty= t son theta [ but you wrote the other way around] can you explain please. thank you

Hello there. I found a__c for question 1 to be -9.766679552 m/s^2 and not 0.944 m/s^2
Check if your calculator is in degrees
Tx is not equal to Tsin
ur incorrect
