I think orange background is for when they are children, purple might be from exvalk era related stuff, red might be after nito went and they started being a duo. Maybe purple is like a thought? Because at 1:28 mika falls in purple, is it because he's thinking something like "I'm not as good as nito. I'm a broken doll"? Though I could be completely wrong, as I'm really bad at understanding these kind of things. And the background is also purple when the exvalk heart breaks. Could you explain the meaning behind them? I'm very curious
hoestly i didnt really think of much with the bg color, but i think you got it right. they are like a mix of time and emotion. blue means like trying to move on and stuff. when mika falls into purple it indicated that they still cant let go of what happened.
