This week I take you to the Highlands of Scotland for 48 hour R&R. have a quick tour around the stunning Glencoe and car camp in awesome locations.
my new Whip...the battlestar galactica needs to be converted to a campa so come join me to see my current car camping set up and my plans for the conversion.

Got a bit emotional mate watching this. All this area used to be right on our doorstep and I miss it. April and the Hebrides can't come soon enough. You'll have to let us know if you're up there when we go, would be great to meet over a beer in Fort William. Hooe the back is better soon.

Cracking video as always Mate. I woke one morning in the January of 2014 in agony and it took me two hours to get out of bed and down the stairs . My mother got an ambulance out for me as I had by now started being sick on her clean kitchen floor. I was surprised to find that I had three vertebrae had exploded during the night through osteoporosis which was caused by meds that I was on . Then I got a bigger suprise when I was told that I was going back home that night as I was capable of walking , despite the pain and disabilities it was causing. I wasn't given any advice from the doctor or sent to see a physio. So I took the painkillers as told to by the nurse at the hospital and after a few days rest and total boredom, I decided to get out for short walks in the garden and then over to the old footy pitch with the dog and got myself built up and back to full health as best I could with my life long health issues allow . Now I am laid up with a knackered knee after surgery and being told that I can't get back to work because of the insurance policy. So now I am doing the short walks again and looking at new career options now that I can't do the security dog handler work anymore. My nephew has been great as he comes in on a morning and gets my joggers on for me and then comes in after school and cooks my tea for me and has now started cooking tea for his mother and himself. He's a completely different Lad now since changing school to get away from the bullies and started camping with me . Hopefully I will get myself out for longer walks to fittish again and hopefully out camping again. This prescription nature is a great thing and the NHS should take notice of the Japanese and use it fully . It will save themselves a lot of work and money and really help a lot of people with medical and mental health issues. Sorry about the ramble and thanks for sharing your adventures.

We take things for granted don't we. Here's hoping you a quick recovery back to fitness and mobility best wishes to you mate. Great to hear about your nephew !!! Where did you get your mattress from lve got a car camper puegoet 307 sw at the moment lm useing a double airbed but want to upgrade
Hi..... this is just an old matress from a ed in the spare room....3/4 matress I suppose u could pick up cheap enough from a bed store or even buy some bespoke foam and cut to size. Thanks for watching ATB Simon
