It looks like you're using a burlap bag to felt on. Is that right? What did you stuff it with? Does it help stop the wool from sticking, like it does on foam?
What is that stuff you put on your hands when you made the eyes? You said it fast and I couldn't understand. I didn't follow your advice and started with a pony rather than something more simple but I have already felted a few animals (a fox from a kit and a horse and lion of my own design). I think I should have ordered your pony kit because I'm having a little trouble using my own wool that I had which isn't quite right for making your cute ponies.

Is this suitable to give a child that's a horse lover?? Are felt figured sturdy enough for kids to play and cuddle with?
