- 伊豆アニマルキングダムで、2頭のお母さんカピバラから、合計11頭の仔カピバラが誕生しました！
しかも誕生日は大晦日と元旦で、わずか1日違いです。で、ちっちゃいカピバラがわらわらといます。
天候次第で、圧巻の光景を間近で見ることができますね～。もし行かれる場合は、まだ小さいので静かにやさしく見てあげてくださいね。
撮影機材を変更してまだ色々調整中なので、色がおかしいところがあり、仔カピのかわいさを十分表現出来ず歯がゆいのですが、カピバラ好きの方にお楽しみ頂ければと思います。
11 baby capybaras were born in Izu Animal Kingdom Japan from two mothers (5 babys and 6 babys). This video was taken less than one week after they were born.

Oh my goodness, aren’t they adorable. I just want to pick one up or more and just cuddle them. I had the same coloured guinea pig and it’s almost like seeing her again. Awww. ❤️❤️❤️

They build herds - just like their close realtives, the guinea pigs. Sometimes, just like here, one mother is taking care of many litters. Normally one Capybara litter is between two and six cubs.

Capybars are hilarious the way theyre always bunched up together in a criss cross configuration. Is this instinctive? You always see adults like that but these little bubbas are brand new and already bunching up. Bloody cute

A message to the owners of these capybaras: please take good care of these lovely, harmless creatures, bear in mind they're mainly in the great plains of South America, hot and humid regions all year long, and don't tolerate well the chill weather , they even can die if exposed to low temperatures for long, in the wild they are never exposed to temperatures under 65 Farenheit - 18 Celsius
@Patricia McCoy They are not necessarily Amazonian, I live in Southeast Brazil and they co-exist peacefully within the cities as long as they are kept close to rivers and lakes. There are some some eventual jaguars to prey on them but this is within the woods or rural areas but all in all they do flourish and by no means are in danger as a species.
