WOW. I'm learning SO many things. About Jesus becoming the High Priest and how it all played out according to God's perfect plan. I'm 🤯. Also, I'm Greek and other than some pronunciation issues or little things, I admire your language learning. I feel so blessed by all these videos. Thank you.

I've learned what the saying, "Son of ___" means. I love this information so much. I'm really struggling with a terrible apathy after a long period of nothingness, anger at God and this is helping a lot.
I also came to a better understanding of how the relationship between the prophets and God work as well.

I learn so much in these lessons! I am so grateful. This episode I cried. I came to full understanding who Jesus really is. I came to understand what He did for me/us. Of course I knew He died for our sins, but there were still things I just didn't understand. Knowing now how He is able to intercede for us. so that the devil has no legal rights on us. Wow. Pieces of the puzzle are coming together and it makes me so humble and grateful. Halleluja! Glory to God!!!

As I speak this wave of confusion from the 4 believed interpretations , mainly the Historical View is doing much damage to the Body.

    2 Corinthians 12:9-10
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong.

I never understand this about Jesus. If he came to earth and set aside his diety, would that not make him just human? Yet he didn’t sin.
How is it then, that we as humans do not have the ability to Not sin?

To be a true Prophet the prophecy must come to pass and that Prophet must be keeping the Commandments of God, it is two or more that bears witness, the antichrist will also bring fire from heaven but he does not keep the Commandments of God, which includes The Sabbath.

    The end. The Beast
Lawlessness and iniquity were already at work when Revelation in the Bible was written. People had already started another movement and were preaching another Jesus, 2 Cor 11, 2 Thes 2:7. And it was for this reason Revelation was penned in riddles and a conundrum to understand. For the abandonment of the truth had already begun and the mysteries of heaven were hidden from those of this world. And is now revealed in this last day, Mt 13:11, Rv 14:6. What Revelation tells is a perplexing story. And to paraphrase what it forewarns and says: is there are two beasts that come to power.
The way the story unfolds in Revelation is the first beast will suffer a head wound and appears dead when a second beast emerges on the scene. The second beast acquires all the first beast's power and helps heal the first beast's head wound, whereby he restores the first beast.
At this point, the second beast will make an image of the first beast. He will kill everyone who refuses to worship him or the image he has created.
And if that isn't enough the second beast has a number for his name, which is 666.
Now to understand what Revelation is saying; You will have to realize when Jesus came he cast evil spirits out of many people. This enabled him to heal them.
One example of spirit possession was when, Jesus was in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, the spirit in this man cried out with a loud voice, saying, Leave us alone; what do we have to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? have you come to destroy us? I know you are; the Holy One of God. At which point Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and cast the evil spirit out of him. Lk 4: 33-35. That verse in Scripture reveals the devil is an evil spirit that inhabits people and he knows Jesus is the Christ.
Later that day, when the sun was setting, many sick people were brought unto Christ; and Jesus laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. And those who were possessed by devils came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ, Lk 4: 40-41, Mt 8:16. So you see, evil spirits in people will confess Christ is the Son of God but obviously don’t follow his teachings.
There are many other Scriptures that reveal this evil spirit's existence. And whether people believe in this presentation of the Bible or not, the beast is an evil spirit and the devil mentioned in Revelation!
Then if you can understand the beast is an evil spirit, you will be able to interpret Revelation thirteen and Revelation seventeen. Whereas a beast would rise and it would have seven heads but these heads are actually mountains, Rv 17:9. As we know, on this day, there are seven continents that make up this world. And if you could visualize a continent rising out of the sea, you would know it is a huge mountain. Hence the seven heads on this beast are the seven continents because it was this evil spirit's goal to deceive the entire world, Rv 12:9!
Now the first player or, as Revelation explained, the "first beast" was the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire ruled the world with an iron hand. They didn't accept Christ's teachings of evil spirits possessing them and they were in throes of Satan. They followed their own philosophies and once Christ was crucified; they persecuted the true Christians. Only God knows the atrocities they put them through. Whereby, it was given unto him (the evil spirit in them) to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations Rv 13:7. The world.
Then Revelation explains the beast would suffer a head wound and appear dead yet he would survive. So, one continent or as Revelation explains one head on the beast was diffused. And of course, that was the Roman Empire (Europe). The Roman Empire was annihilated but after some years the continent was reestablished, however, they didn’t regain the power, she once enjoyed, Rv 13:3. This was because a second beast would rise. His appearance was like one who had two horns like a lamb and spoke as a dragon, Rv 13:11. Having two horns signifies two powers, and a lamb symbolizes Jesus.
In approximately 666 AD history reveals the Roman Empire’s demise. This was when there arose two apostate theologies fitting the description of a lamb. Both are divided into many issues but worship the same god in fact three of them. At first, they destroyed Israel which was not a nation for nearly two thousand years Mth 24: 16-20. At which time they proclaimed to the world all go to heaven as they were capable to lead all to Christ. These men saw how the true apostles called upon God's Spirit, and they assumed they could do the same thing. However, not established by God, they caused those who followed them to receive an evil spirit whom they called the Holy Spirit. This was in fact the abomination that brought ruin upon the world. Hence the mark of the beast is those who worship him.
Revelation explains this by saying; The second beast would cause the world to worship the first beast. Which was an evil spirit that inhabited those of the Roman Empire. Even, 2 Corinthians 11:4 explains they preach another Jesus and take into them another spirit. With their own mouths, they declare there is no need to follow Christ's teaching as that is a chore (work), and will wallow in sin screaming the blood and not love Rv 17:6. But instead, when we follow Christ's instructions we repent because we love him, want to do his will, and don't consider his commandments a chore. Thereby we are saved by his blood.
Two thousand years ago Paul explained in Acts twenty, verses thirty, and thirty-one how these imposters were sitting with him. He warned how they would become apostate theologians. And explained how they would not spare the true church. But in fact, they would speak headstrong theology and would be against what Christ taught. They were obviously covetous and their goal was to make merchandise out of people and get followers to follow them. So, I hope you see, because it is one thing to sin which all of us are guilty of, but another thing to be governed by evil's depths. One example of a person who is governed by the depths of depravity is those who are serial killers. And if you knew a religious leader was conveying lies to his flock, causing them to die and end up in hell wouldn't you consider this leader a serial killer?
These false apostles caused the world to invite another spirit into them which in turn caused the world to worship the beast as God. This of course is the abomination of desolation that Christ spoke of in Matthew twenty-four. Due to he would sit in place of the one who is Holy.
Revelation explains when this movement started no one would be able to buy or sell less they have the mark of the beast or the number of his name Rv 13:17. History reveals when their movement began religion was forced upon all and then it dwarfed into what we see today. If it was England everyone was forced to attend church. Their theology was taught in all schools and they indoctrinated all. Even in Rome, we find the same situation. In fact, many fleeing Europe to America claimed it was to seek religious freedom because people could not buy or sell and were forced to worship their gods.
But the problem was confusion had been established and theology distorted until it is what we see in this day. Ten different interpretations, and many different denominations. Babylon means confusion and thus we find many false religions speaking different theologies causing confusion as to what the truth is. As all claim, they are of God but have different views? All the while, Scripture says God is not the author of confusion 1 Cor 14:33.
People reading revelation assume prophecy is like fixing a bowl of soup in a microwave and everything will happen instantaneously. When in reality prophecy can take years even hundreds of years to come to fruition. And when you see the truth you realize it took many years.

Not all scholars believe that Revelation was written in the 90’s. Many believed he wrote during the reign of Emperor Nero who died in July of 68. The fact that the Temple still existed according to Revelation chapter eleven is an indication that it Revelation couldn’t have been written in the 90’s because the Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D.

      Good Morning! Brother David
Revelation chapter 11 is the first 42 months of the 7 year tribulation period.
John was exiled to the isle of Patmos in A.D. 95.
This was at least twenty five years after the destruction of the second temple during the first century.

    • @David-kk4dr
      @David-kk4dr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@MJ-cb8nl how could it be when Revelation 17:10 says: “They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, ONE IS, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.” John said “one is” that is, a particular Emperor was reigning at that time which historians say it was Emperor Nero. The FIVE who have “fallen” (died) were: Julius Caesar (BC 49-44 ), Augustus (BC 31- 14 AD), Tiberius 14-37 A.D.), Gaius or Caligula 37-41 A.D.), Claudius 41-54 A.D.). NERO (54-68 A.D.) was the Emperor who was reigning during the days of the Apostle John. The the “OTHER” who had not yet come and who “remained for only a little while” was Galba (68-69 A.D.) didn’t last long because he was killed. Notice that John was given revelation as to only those rulers that existed WITHIN the time frame in connection with the Fall of Jerusalem and its Temple.

The book of the Revelation was a closed book until May 14, 1948.
That book was written for the last generation.
The 7 year tribulation period will start with the battle of Gog from the land of Magog.
The first seal will be opened after the fulfillment of Isaiah 17:1-3, Jeremiah 49:23-27, Revelation 6:1-2.
We see the battle of Gog from the land of Magog when the Lion from the tribe of Judah simultaneously opens the next five seals.

@@MJ-cb8nl This is the trouble I have with those who want to “debate” (not quarrel) the scriptures…they always seem to go on to something else that is not the issue at hand. Alright…would you answer or explain why: 1. If the writers of the Bible were real people in time and space and their audience to whom they wrote were real people in time and space, then we must acknowledge that the thoughts in their writings were primarily for that generation of people and not specifically TO us, even though its principles can be FOR us. In other words Paul wrote to the Galatians, the Ephesians, the Colossians, the Romans, etc..
      2. Since James, the Lord’s brother, told the readers of his letter, “Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming,” (5:7) then we can correctly assume that THEY were expecting His appearance in their lifetime. And since James gave an illustration of being “patient” by using the example of how, “the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the soil-how patient he is for the fall and spring rains,” then we must acknowledge that they believed that the Coming of the Lord was imminent in THEIR times since a farmer is not patiently waiting for 2,000 YEARS + for his “precious fruit of the soil” to spring up out of the ground! (James 5:7). James told his audience, “You too, be patient and strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near” then the plain sense makes common sense, that “near” means NEAR! In fact the Greek term and tense (ἤγγικεν, ēngiken) is accurately translated ,“HAS drawn near”! (James 5:8).
James told his readers, “Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!”
James did not say that God, as Judge, in the distant future was going to judge believers for complaining and grumbling, but that He was “standing at the door” ALREADY, and therefore warned them not to be found complaining “with one another” and BE judged by Him.
      3. Since Paul told Titus, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, WAITING for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Yahshua Messiah,” (Titus 2:11-14) THEN should we accept the fact that Paul, Titus and others were “anxiously awaiting” for the Blessed Hope, “the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Yahshua Messiah” to be happening in THEIR lifetime and not ours?? Or are we going to say that Paul miscalculated the timing??
      4. Since Malachi prophesied saying,“Behold, I will send you “Elijah” the prophet BEFORE the great and dreadful Day of Yahveh comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the Land with a decree of utter destruction” (Malachi 4: 5,6). And since Yahshua said that the “Elijah” that was predicted by Malachi was in reality John the Baptist and that the disciples acknowledged that Yahshua answered their question as recorded by Matthew, (“Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist (Matt. 17:13). And the fact that Yahshua said: “For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John, and if you are willing to accept it, HE IS Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear” (Matt.11:13-15).
Therefore, “the day of Yahveh” mentioned by Malachi must be near to the days of John the Baptist, the prophesied “Elijah.” He was prophesied to come “before” the Day of Yahveh. Isaiah also prophesied that “Elijah” would come as a forerunner before Yahshua the Messiah as “A voice crying in the wilderness” to “prepare the way of Yahveh” and to
“make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”
      (Isaiah 40:3,4 and Mark 1:2-4).
      Malachi also prophesied the same:
“Behold, I send my messenger (John the Baptist), and he will prepare the way before Me (The Messiah). And the Lord (Yahshua Messiah)) whom you seek will suddenly come to His Temple; and the Messenger of the Covenant (The Messiah) in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says Yahveh of hosts” (Malachi 3:1). The fact that the Messiah comes “SUDDENLY” to His Temple was NOT for blessed purposes, but for JUDGEMENT. Malachi asked, “2But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? (Mal. 3:2).
Thus John the Baptist was the “Elijah” who was the predicted forerunner and messenger who was to “prepare the way of the Lord Yahshua.” He himself admitted and said that he was “the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of Yahveh,’ as the prophet Isaiah said” (John 1:18).
Therefore, since John was the prophesied “Elijah” then the Coming meant that “The Great and Dreadful Day of Yahveh” must happen within a short span of time after John the Baptist’s appearance, (the “Elijah” of Malachi).
Therefore, the “Coming” was God’s Coming in Judgment against Jerusalem as foretold by Yahshua in Luke 21: 20-24), which history records was fulfilled forty years after Yahshua’s death which resulted in all of Judea and Jerusalem falling to the Romans in 70 A.D.

The Hebrew Prophets wrote to the people of their day and they also wrote to the people of the last generation.
The last generation began on May 14, 1948.
At this time there are some 8 billion humans on the planet.
The Lord Jesus Christ wants to reach these people through phophecy.
Prophecy is simply the events that the Hebrew Prophets that were to take place during the last generation.
We see one of these events in Isaiah 30
25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
The fulfillment of this prophecy was a prophecy of the day of the Lord, the battle of Gog from the land of Magog, the Apocalypse.
We see the Apocalypse in Isaiah 30:27, 28, 30.

Religion is meant for people who are afraid of being punished in a supposed afterlife. The scientist Stephen Hawking believed that in one form or another, the universe always existed. If his system of belief just happened to be correct, then consciousness and suffering of all forms of life is natural, and there never was any judge-mental creator in existence, or any afterlife where souls of only humans go to be punished or rewarded.

When you are reared to think of your faith and its leaders as infallible, dissent can be an unsettling thing. This is particularly true for clergy, who have devoted their lives to the subject of faith. I therefore especially hope that this story reaches those clergy who have yet to articulate their doubts.
As they struggle through this process, I am thankful that they can look to the Clergy Project as an example of community and humanism as an example of good. As former clergy who have left churches of every denomination, synagogues, mosques, convents, monasteries, and theological institutions, we stand as examples of the reasonableness of doubt and its thoughtful conclusions. I cannot help but think that we offer a compelling voice for why science and secularism do a better job than religion and superstition of answering the so-called ultimate questions.

Jesus called himself the son of man, and it infuriated the Sanhedrin (Pharisees). Why? Because he was referring to Daniel…
Daniel 7:13-14 describes how the "Ancient of Days" (God) gives dominion over the earth to "one like a son of man.”
He was identifying himself as the son of man in Daniel whom God gave dominion over everything.

I must apologize but I did not appreciate your explanation. You are not a theologian, but a Southern Preacher and literalist inferring that there are no interpretations of what prophesies mean, but only what is written. "Logos"! You begin by stating that on Patmos, a penal colony, which we know to be true, all, including Johannes, where chained to their "barrels" day and night. If this was the case, how were his visions translated to others and eventually written down, in Greek? People believe that the meaning of the stories of Sodom and Gomorrah, is the sin of "sodomy" (which, most do not know, means ANY sexual act that does not end in procreation) when theologians, Hebrew, Christian and Muslim...have translated that the meaning of that story is not the sins of sodomy but the sins of not being hospitable. We know that 4000+ years ago in that world, not so unlike today, giving hospitality, kindness to strangers was of the utmost importance and the people who tried to abuse Lot's guests, but were stopped by Lot, still not knowing they were angels. were punished and then, Lot's wife, turned to salt when she looked behind her. So many messages here but not about sodomy. The texts interpreted in Leviticus, etc...against homosexuals...were not about homosexuality but not having sexual acts that did not or could not produce a human...a new Hebrew to help populate that nascent nation. Of roucse people, and I am assuming, which I should not do, use many texts to help support their personal beliefs, despite what the theologians state. Saying that, Johannes's (Iohannes) visions have to be interpreted in an impartial way. Again, I admit to my being judgmental, your discourse, with that rather extreme Southern accent, makes me believe that you are one of the many Southern preachers interpreting a Book from the Bible to his own means. a menorah is not meant to give light. It might have been, once, but now it simply represents the miracle of the Maccabees and the oil lasting for those many days, rather than the hours it should have lasted. Your, again as a Southern man, preaching and using Hebrew symbology surprises me....given how many Jews have been lynched from your corner of the world. I know I am judging you, a sin, but it is how I feel as you state what you feel, interpret what you believe, personally, to be fact...and not just one of many interpretations. Who am I to believe, theologians from the 1st century and, in reference to the Torah or Old Testament, the rabbis of then as well as now, or you? Do I read the interpretations of the great rabbis from medieval Europe..or you? The great Christians theologians who wrote what they did and were condemned for it because they did not support the prejudices of the eras they wrote in, or you? Sorry, I chose them. BTW...anyone, especially someone from the Southern sect of the USA who does not know what a "pap" is...has been living a sheltered and ignorant life. The term has been used in English, especially in the Americas amongst slaves, for centuries. I bed you a peace filled day and I am sorry I take issue with your interpretation.

@@allennolan A theologian is someone who has studied any/all forms of religion....from the many points of view that exist today and have existed since Scripture/Texts were first put on papyrus also knowing the cultures that each religion was located in and began from. For instance, so many believe that the Torah or Old Testament begins in the "Promised Land" with Abraham (Avram) and Sarah (Sarai) when it actually begins in and around the land of Ur, in what is today, Iraq. So many Protestants believe that their various religions (Lutherism, Calvinism, Anglicanism or the Church of England aka Episcopalians in the USA, Baptist, Presbyterian (Church of Scotland) and the list continues...all just popped into existence and condemn the Roman Church but each of those, for varying reasons, were born from the Roman Church....when it was simply Christianity and not Catholicism and Protestantism, +++. Many think that "Allah" is the name of the god the Muslims believe in when the name "Allah" is simply how to say "God", in Arabic. Same God, different language. Going on with that...most don't know that Jesus is the most important prophet, after Mohammed, in Islam and the mother of Jesus, the most venerated woman in the Quran. Most don't know that in Hindu, Jesus is a revered figure, "wise of the wise".....and this goes on, more or less, in all great religions...but the 3 monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all begin the same....with the story of Abraham and Sarah and move forward. The Jewish people stop after the Maccabbees and the Christians take it into the 1st century AD and the Muslims take it further, indeed, with what they believe Mohammed heard and had written for him, including the other 2 religions. Many people believe that the wearing of a Hajab, the head covering is mandated by the Quran but that "tradition" goes further back than the 6th and 7th vrnturies when the Quran was spread. It was a tradition and then just assimilated into the cultures of the initial followers...which is why, for example, in Morocco, some women wear it and some do not..as Moroccans are not Arabs, but Berber and speak their own language as do many other Muslim countries throughout Africa who took Islam and inserted their own religions and histories and cultures to make their own Islam, what it is. Again, especially on the African continent. Most don't know that the "Queen of Sheba" was, evidence tells us, from the Horn of Africa. Ethiopia..and the last Emperor of Ethiopia could trace his ancestry back to that queen and her relationship with King Solomon. Theologians have to know this. All these little pieces that might seem indifferent or meaningless make up the "whole"! Without knowing one piece it is difficult to know the "whole"! I mean, the Church of England is about as close to Roman Catholicism as any religion can get because it began, not for a difference in beliefs but politics. Henry VIII wanted an annulment from Catherine of Aragon and the Church refused it so he simply made himself the head of the "Church", in England...but the liturgy remained exactly the same and began to change under Elizabeth. Some did not believe that she, Queen Elizabeth I changed it enough and they broke off from Anglicanism and became the puritans. They went, first, to Holland but were kicked out due to their extreme puritanism and went back to England, where they were, again, under James I, I believe, to leave again and off they went to the Plymouth Colony where, after a generation or 2, differences divided the puritans (pilgrims) and they split. Some to what we know today as Rhode Island, some to NH, etc...all with a basic belief in the same things but some wishing for open religious tolerance whereas others wanted to stick with "it's our way or NO way".....which is why, in part, that the US "Founding Fathers", made freedom of religion as a fundamental right....from day 1. Anyway, a theologian has to know all these things. Not everything but they at least need to know the histories and motivations as to why some religions were born or evolved or ended or are where they are today, without prejudice or personal beliefs interfering. Some theologians might be more invested in Judaism and some more in Chritianity, etc...but each, at least in the 3 monotheirstic religions, need to know each other's histories and sociological dynamics. I say this not because I want to be snobby but because it was what I studied at University for 4 years. Since the revolution in Iran in the late70's and 9/11...we have had a distorted view of Islam without knowing the history and the differences that they, too, have within their ranks. Sunni vs Shiite, for example. One must keep an open mind and not diminish one religion to make a point about your own. Yes, some things need to be interpreted and it is near impossible to not immerse you own beliefs into those interpretations but if you're going to lecture on a certain aspect, it has to be based in theology without one's personal beliefs...especially when discussing Revelations which is so full of symbology, most of which is from Judaic history...but in doing that, we have to remember that for part of the time, the Jews were in Egypt and were influenced by them during the 400 years they spent, there. Then they were in Babylonia and we have to remember that things were picked up, there as well. Not to mention that what we know, today, as Israel was once Judah and Israel. 2 separate kingdoms. They we have the Samaritans, also Jews but not accepted by the larger groups and made to be outcasts that were so hated and considered to be "dogs' that in order for the Jews to travel from south to north, they made their already long trip even longer in order to avoid the Samaritans...though they were all Jewish/Hebrew. I mean, ti is so much and I apologize for the length of this novel I am writing but to define what is and what is not a theologian would take an encyclopedia to explain. I do thank you for asking me, though. It shows an openminded spirit in order to do so and I am not intending to offend anyone....just asking that those who lecture on something, especially Revelations, remember all the influences within that text and where they came from. I really pray you have a peace filled day! Peace/Shalom/Salaam! - Gary PS...can you guess, from what I write, which religion I consider to be mine? Just curious! Ciao!

I thought the Samaritanians became the new occupants of the land Israel along with some of the jews that were left behind after Babylonian invasion...
So in essence, one would consider them a mixed tribe, with majority of the population, not jews, that is why during Christ's time, they were considered Gentiles and the jews of the land Judah were not "encouraged" to be hospitable to them

@@PiweMtinjana One of the most profound reasons about the split between the 2 peoples was about where God lived. Jews proclaimed his home on Mt.
