John I love your tutorials the only question I have on this is when u do the 2/3 slide or hammer on are you also pulling off on the 2nd fret as u do the hammer on on the 3rd freet

Great tutorial! The intro is menacing as hell, it's a bit reminiscent of the Halloween soundtrack and sounds great on the acoustic. I think it sounds better with the capo on, it's brighter in a scary way. Another great thing is that this can be played super slow with plenty of time to get the F barre chord in place.
I don't know what you were singing in the first line of the song, you seem to have overdubbed the vocals, right? Made it even spookier. :-)
Thanks. No vocal overdubbs? the guitar is recorded directly so its louder than the room mic, im singing the opening line ..sweet dreams are made of these.

It’s called a Capo, and it’s for singers to sing in a different key, it’s not necessary for a beginner. Generally, songs are usually in the same tuning (this is called standard tuning) if you buy a guitar tuner or download a tuner app (GuitarTuna), it will show you how to tune in standard tuning. It’s very important as a beginner to start correctly and it’s always worth having a few lessons in the beginning.
