The ending was amazing. The Divine Knights all assembled together one final time to deliver a miracle by saving everyone’s favorite lady’s man Crow. Man I absolutely adored Trails Of Cold Steel. I never played RPG’s but my cousin made me try Trails Of Cold Steel 1 when I was 14. 4 years later, I continuously watch videos on this game and I cannot wait to start playing the other Legend Of Heroes games. The game wasn’t perfect obviously but I felt the ending was profound. All of the original class 7 was able to finally live through their terror and new class 7 will continue the legacy.

Yes, my favorite game in the whole series. And yes it has its Ups and downs but for me the Ups were the biggest in the series easily eclipsing the lows. And of course the fact that my boy Rean was finally happy in the end helps

Ah, I finally finished watching it. Thank you February Night for uploading your playthrough with the english subs. Though I have a lot of issues with both endings and I know I will definitely cry again during my own playthrough come next year's PC release, it was a profound experience to finally witness the end of the Erebonia arc. It has been many years since I played trails in the sky and ever since then, I have always imagined what Erebonia was like as Olivier always mentioned the place. And seeing all those faces together in one place, the protagonists and support characters of Liberl and Crossbell Arcs, I just can't hold back my emotions. Man, the feels of these games. Thank you so much. Now I feel like crying again.

This really was a nice ending, and see as the director of the Kiseki series has announced that they are already working on both the next main line game(the protagonists are supposed to be Ouroboros members as well/ and class VII is supposed to make an appearance also), and a spin off of Trails of Cold Steel that takes place after 4, I really just can’t wait for what the future of this series holds

But poor Sister Cecil and General Wallace didn't get an invite to the party??? RUDE! Lol! 2. Every character's face is shown on that picture... except Ilya's. What could be the reason for that, I wonder? I'm making my prediction right here, right now. I don't think we've seen the last of her. And not in a good way, either. Grandmaster???

Man, Hajimari no kiseki will be noice. I think its safe to assume that the next main protags wont be from Calvard since they're done with western erebonia. I hope we get to see eastern side.
Also that'd be a hell of a wedding to crash. 5 of the 13 Dominion (including #1), Old and New Class VII, the SSS, Aurelia Le Guin, Cassius Bright, and the entire Liberl crew. I don't think Oroborous wants any part of that party.
Wish Osborne had more time with his son so that he can make up for lost time and get a chance to be his father its sad he didnt get the chance. and that they would have shown more affection for each other. Im a bit sad they didnt. And i wish he didnt have to die. so sad to see this series end. There was a lot of sad moments but I'm glad it had a happy ending but wish there was more. I'd like to see more interaction between the characters after it ended.and it would have been a happier ending if Osborne lived and he got the chance to spend just as much time with him then teo did if not more. And make up for lost time. I would have liked that ending in my opinion. Because this is still kinda sad to me. Wish there where happy anime and video game ending where no one has to die that has a good story. Instead of sad and bittersweet one kinda like this.
I agree with some of those points but man did Osborne piss me off haha. Best part about all of this is that the series is only about 60% complete! We have a lot more Trails to go!

Yeah, both endings probably happened... its just the timeline was tampered with to alter events and resulted in the true ending which will be used going forward

But yes, from a broad prespective, perspective of a normal person, their actions are nothing short of monstrous. Their actions, reasons and even goals were nothing good, hence why they are villains of course, unfortunately CS has a tragic syndrom of making everything seem hunky dory, no matter how evil stuff actually is and all the villains have their redemptions and such, even if they do not deserve any imo. Not to mention, the whole thing about Osbourne being beholden to the curse is a whole another can of worms, we dont know how and how much it controls him, what it allows and such. Makes the "twist" even worse and the people knowing of this and still following him even stupider.
I just wished that Rean and Laura got married too in the end. It was really a nice journey playing this series from Legend of Heroes with Estelle and Joshua and up to this last saga. They're all connected. :)
It was originally grey/silver in the first too games and when he was revived by the gnomes it became White. Basically he was affected by the curse like Rean and got pure white hair.
I'm hoping that the different chrarcters from the trails in the sky and zero arc will keep appearing in futures game. Trails in the sky is still my favorite arc

Hey there! I quite thoroughly adore the whole series. However, if I had to select a gripe: The bonding system. Personally, I prefer straight up canon romances like Estelle and Joshua (especially because this is a series where characters return in future arcs). This allows for their feelings to be a critical part of my main plot. But if they do the harem thing I hope they change two aspects of the Cold Steel model: 1. Allow players to see all bonding events on their first playthrough. And 2. If it's a harem, don't force/push one of them on the protagonist more than the rest. Hope you enjoyed the videos! ~Cheers 😀

No the is the last Trails of Cold Steel game. There’ll probably be another legend of heroes game eventually but most likely it’ll follow a different main character and be set somewhere else

1:23:15 Not gonna lie, I feel like this game don't give Kevin and Ries any justice there, they are main protagonist in the 3rd Sky game, they should appear in this game as well since it trying to be an "Avenger" game. The same can go to new SSS members in Ao no Kiseki.
So, is it impossible to do all the final bosses in a single path? That's a bit disapointing if the the only way to play the true ending is by skipping the other 2 fights. I do like my sequential final boss battles.

Cant wait for the next Kiseki to wipe the slate clean and start over :) things were getting way too convoluted and way too many characters were involved in what started as a simple adventure in Sky :D Anyone else thinks the Empire got away with everything? No disarming and only Crossbell seemingly got free :( But the ending slides were fucking PERFECT!
Realistically speaking, what did you expect? How are they going to force the strongest country on the continent to disarm when even with Mille Mirage they were at disadvantage, and after the two days war most of the alliance like Remiferia, Liberl, Arteria and so on will probably opt for the fastest solution and cheapest peace? The Republic might complain but what are they going to do? And regarding Jurai and North Ambria, they are too poor to be very eager to secede.
He received the title of Divine Blade (of Steel if I remember correctly), which means he is equal to cassius bright and arios (rank wise at least). Realistically, hes probably still a bit weaker than those two based on differences in experience, but he is one of the most powerful practitioners of the eight leaves and probably on the level of most enforcers canonically. (Thats just what Ive read once or twice, I dont think its ever outright stated in game.)
I was totally expecting us to have a deep dive into the troubles and sadness of the black entity to find out how he is actually troubled by carrying everything alone and having Rean free him and letting him join class VII, yep, its this kind of a game. OH my god I was kidding when I wrote that but it almost happens :D Also, Rean kills something, you monster, hypocrite, so the entity born of our bad feelings deserves to die but all the people who senteced thousands to die are still good people and deserve happy endings?! :D
actually im a bit disappointed that NF decited to tell the wedding just with standing pictures an not as a "real" video ingame :/ and the happenings with old/new VII after the ending wasn't explained either. For such a great arc - the ending wasn't bad but in my opinion it could have been a little better.
Well, really not bad 2 endings, except the fact that Jusis and Millium look like a canon otp, and for me this is awfull. I only saw them as brother and sister like relationship.

Yeah, both endings probably happened... its just the timeline was tampered with to alter events and resulted in the true ending which will be used going forward
@Rick Saber the other ending deviates to much from the ending fomular of the Trails series. Therefore me and others believe this ending to be canon.

@@deathbykonami5487 Dont know about broad, its uncolored by emotional attachment maybe, because I do not care for the character unlike other people who like Claire or Lechter. But yes, from a broad prespective, perspective of a normal person, their actions are nothing short of monstrous. Their actions, reasons and even goals were nothing good, hence why they are villains of course, unfortunately CS has a tragic syndrom of making everything seem hunky dory, no matter how evil stuff actually is and all the villains have their redemptions and such, even if they do not deserve any imo.
Not to mention, the whole thing about Osbourne being beholden to the curse is a whole another can of worms, we dont know how and how much it controls him, what it allows and such. Makes the "twist" even worse and the people knowing of this and still following him even stupider.

I just wished that Rean and Laura got married too in the end. It was really a nice journey playing this series from Legend of Heroes with Estelle and Joshua and up to this last saga. They're all connected. :)

It was originally grey/silver in the first too games and when he was revived by the gnomes it became White. Basically he was affected by the curse like Rean and got pure white hair.
I'm hoping that the different chrarcters from the trails in the sky and zero arc will keep appearing in futures game. Trails in the sky is still my favorite arc

Hey there! I quite thoroughly adore the whole series. However, if I had to select a gripe: The bonding system.
Personally, I prefer straight up canon romances like Estelle and Joshua (especially because this is a series where characters return in future arcs). This allows for their feelings to be a critical part of my main plot.
But if they do the harem thing I hope they change two aspects of the Cold Steel model: 1. Allow players to see all bonding events on their first playthrough. And 2. If it's a harem, don't force/push one of them on the protagonist more than the rest.

No the is the last Trails of Cold Steel game. There’ll probably be another legend of heroes game eventually but most likely it’ll follow a different main character and be set somewhere else

You have to do all the final day quests, get all the lost arts and then go to courageous, you'll get a call from toval

How are they going to force the strongest country on the continent to disarm when even with Mille Mirage they were at disadvantage, and after the two days war most of the alliance like Remiferia, Liberl, Arteria and so on will probably opt for the fastest solution and cheapest peace? The Republic might complain but what are they going to do? And regarding Jurai and North Ambria, they are too poor to be very eager to secede.

He received the title of Divine Blade (of Steel if I remember correctly), which means he is equal to cassius bright and arios (rank wise at least). Realistically, hes probably still a bit weaker than those two based on differences in experience, but he is one of the most powerful practitioners of the eight leaves and probably on the level of most enforcers canonically. (Thats just what Ive read once or twice, I dont think its ever outright stated in game.)
So to get the true end you must replay the whole game from a new game plus only???

I was totally expecting us to have a deep dive into the troubles and sadness of the black entity to find out how he is actually troubled by carrying everything alone and having Rean free him and letting him join class VII, yep, its this kind of a game.

Also, Rean kills something, you monster, hypocrite, so the entity born of our bad feelings deserves to die but all the people who senteced thousands to die are still good people and deserve happy endings?! :D

actually im a bit disappointed that NF decited to tell the wedding just with standing pictures an not as a "real" video ingame :/ and the happenings with old/new VII after the ending wasn't explained either. For such a great arc - the ending wasn't bad but in my opinion it could have been a little better.
