Europe Road trip 2016: France, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar

8601 km road trip in Europe starting from London. We visited many amazing places on the French West Coast, in Portugal, Spain, Gibraltar and some other spots along the road to our hometown Akmene, Lithuania:
Day 1: London / UK to Etretat / France
Day 2: Mont Saint-Michel, Nantes, La Rochelle / France
Day 3: Bordeaux / France, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe / Spain
Day 4: Bilbao, Playa de Gulpiyuri, Covadonga / Spain
Day 5: Picos de Europa, Ruta del Cares (22 km trail) / Spain
Day 6: Porto / Portugal
Day 7: Peniche, Berlengas / Portugal
Day 8: Cabo da Roca, Praia da Ursa, Lisbon / Portugal
Day 9: Cabo Sardao, Odeceixe, Praia da Bordeira, Salgras, Lagoa / Portugal
Day 10,11: Lagos, Ponta da Piedade, Algar de Benagil, Albufeira / Portugal
Day 12: Sevilla, Tarifa / Spain
Day 13: Gibraltar / UK, Benalmadena / Spain
Day 14: Caminito del Rey, Malaga / Spain
Day 15: Sierra Nevada - Silleta del Padul hike (15 km) / Spain
Day 16,17: Desierto del Tabernas, Valencia / Spain
Day 18: Montserrat, Figueres / Spain
Day 19: Ardeche, Pont d'Arc / France
Day 20, 21,22: Schwarchwald, Niedernhall, Stuttgart / Germany
Day 23: Germany to Lithuania

If you going season time so there is few places to rent a kayak can't remember beach name but you should see stands by the road. And also its much closer then its looks

Mate we drove our car. Probably just buy a some cheap good running car and sell it at the end of the trip to scrap yard in any country :)

Very nice tour! would you mind to share how you did it in terms of where did you stay over night, how much gas did you pay in total and what did you pay in expenses? Planning to do that kind of a trip myself and this would help a lot!

Hi Tim. It's very difficult to say how much things cost. All depends where do you stay and where do you eat. France is super expensive, Spain it's much cheaper and Portugal were cheapest I would say. And gas depends again what car you will drive. Our Audi 3.0 4x4 not economical at all we spend nearly 800€ only for fuel. Hotels 40/50€ a night and and meals very various. Could get for 20€ in Portugal or 70€ in France for two.
