Italian styling wins, but it is the engineering in this car that makes it a winner! It set the bench mark, even Ferrari now have a 6 cylinder (which is equally gorgeous and just as much a performer)

Ron the mc 20 sounds good for what iit s, a 6 cylinder. Not nearly as imposing as my V8 naturally aspiirated 2013 gran turismo sport with no exhaust modifications !

Think twice about ordering the external carbon fiber package. It’s so easy to damage the carbon fiber that low and you can’t repair it. If you’re going to treat this car like a woman’s handbag and baby at all the time maybe so but if you’re going to drive it, I would never get it. I own one and I did not get that because I force saw the problem and I’m so glad I didn’t get it. Also, the edges of the doors can get chipped real easy because the doors swing out so far I chipped the end of buying a little bit but it was so easy to fix with some epoxy and black paint. You can never tell it happened, but if it was carbon fiber, you’d be screwed BIGLY.
Also, you should get the amazing stereo option. It’s fantastic and the hydraulic front lifter. And I really like the exposed carbon fiber roof and I also got all the interior carbon fiber available. My 2022 specked out at 262K and I’m very happy with that although I wish I did have a 360 camera.
I don’t like the new drive mode selector it looks cheap to me the one I have looks like an elegant men’s wristwatch
and don’t believe anything about the car being lightweight where is close to 3900 pounds but it certainly doesn’t feel like it and I took 100 pounds off with some new wheels and lithium battery, and a few other things. I’m hoping my new Novitec exhaust will take off another 50 to 75 pounds.
I really like the MC20, but I still don't understand how they managed to make a carbon car that weighs 1770 kg. The color is magnificent.
These supercars are getting stupidly fat. Nothing super about that.

It's all that pasta, it's a dense food 😂 lovely car.
I think they built the carbon fiber tub, extremely strong, so it would work for the convertible version definitely over built and over heavy. really feel heavy and the carbon fiber tub feeling is definitely there.

Ron, if I had the money to own one of these, I'd opt instead for a Ferrari. Either new or used, but not a Maserati. Even better....save a fortune and own an Alfa Romeo Giulia QV!
After seeing this in person, it would be hard for me to pick a Roma over it...
@@RonsRides Oh Lord Ron, on this we disagree! The Roma is the best looking sports car to come along in decades. Its understated and truly classy. The MC20 is cool, but it does not have the panache of the Roma, in my opinion.
It’s a Beautiful car, but lacks the engine note to match it. How come Maserati can’t make their 6 cyl engine scream the way Ferrari’s v6 screams in the 296GTB? I hope they can eventually improve that.
I do agree, I wish it was louder. I would compare it to the TT V6 in the Leante, Ghibli and QP but those are Ferrari derived so its hard to compare.
There’s a good side to it not being too loud it’s a great GT car. Also, you can really hear the exotic turbo sound. This car makes the most amazing sounds especially going up a mountain road.
I just ordered a $22,000 Novitec Valved exhaust for my MC 20. It should make it really loud in the advanced and Corsa drive modes and quieter like now softer modes
