Jigokudani Monkey Park in Japan is home to a large troop of macaques. In the 1960s, macaques began showing up in the winter to bathe in onsen, or manmade hot springs. Now they’re here year-round.

Our close cousins if not brothers and sisters. I would posit that love of animals is necessary (and maybe almost sufficient) for compassion towards other humans.. Caring for and being cared for by our pet dogs, cats and more is a good step forward to healing.
1:07 You *cannot* tell me you haven't seen a Japanese guy with that face!

What happens when they get out of the water soaking wet in those temperatures?
I thought thies spas were natural, how they make them?, im so confused
The boiling water is natural, but the Japanese funneled it into rock spas they created. So, the hot water is natural, but the actual spa was created by man.
Could it be they may be worried about the monkeys peeing in hot springs.
Pearlspring Macaques

Oybou oybou.
wow i love the Arctic Monkeys
i love japani bullet taren gol
i love japani tokyo city gol ...
Isnt it bad that they keep them there? i know they lost territory by human hand, but feeding them and keeping them there kinda will ruin the next generations of monkeys slowly
i was thinking it would fuck up the ecosystem for them. but humans have already done that enough, so meh
actually keeping them in one place makes it easier to observe and protect
it's better this than just letting them disappear due to deforestation or because of conflict between the towns people and them foraging/getting into human's properties
it also helps keeping them at safe distance from cities as they do not feel the need to go further away in search of food
@@NemuriNezumi94 Good point, and japanese are known for having good dedication even over generations !

Which show was this on??
East Asian people are very good to their animals. Other cultures should learn from that.
Like in Taiji?
