@@matteowilliams2013 there is a theory that he is using pyro delusion simultaneously with pyro vision, that is why we hear chains and his flames are darker (because delusion has a form of purplish-black chains). But we will find out for sure in the event on winery, I guess
I had just replaced Diluc as my DPS with Xiao after getting him on his banner, was going to get Kazuha as well, completely forgetting Diluc who I'd been using since Klee's original banner, building him constantly trying to make him perfect... Then they dropped this skin and I had to get it. Diluc refused to let me get rid of him that easily

Enemies always dropped a few items doubled. Now they'll just tell you that while picking it up
it's so annoying that no one realised it... also for me, it was way better when it didn't show it, now it looks kinda weird and I cant get used to it

The sound his skill makes just makes me feel like I'm hitting hard af even if I do no damage
So if you read the genshin manga, this Diluc skin makes sense. In the manga it involves characters from Sumeru, like Collie who is coming out in the next patch. That might be why they mad his skin. Maybe he will be involved in the story again.
as a kaeya main i would say that diluc and kaeya would probably complement each other pretty well. kaeya applies cryo pretty fast and he collects energy super quickly so i can see him and diluc working nicely in a melt comp
As a kaeya main can confirm, melt diluc is fun. However I use Kazuha with them and infuse his ult with cryo, because the game punishes you for melting with pyro characters and eats cryo status quicker than hydro in vapes. So Kaeya may not provide enough cryo alone (maybe c6 fixes this issue a bit, but to get c6 Kaeya... it's a dream that's yet to come true)

Yep! They both carried me until around AR45 I think, until I built a separate Kaeya team.
Been a Diluc main since I pulled him near the start of the game, he's been powercrept like hell but he's still a good character for sure. And Kaeya's build is meant to be complimentary to his, for melt

I used to main Diluc when the game first started, but I haven't touched him in AGES. So yeah. I may have bought the skin and reignited the diluc main inside me
Diluc has one of the cleanest kits in the game, the only caveat being that his burst shoving enemies might cause problems. The actual problem with the character though is a lack of scaling to the point that no matter how good his playstyle his numbers just aren't high enough to compete with Hu-Tao.
They could always drop multiple items, they were always stacked and not labeled, youd have to pay attention to the left side pop up to see how many, its nice they are labeled before pickup now
Diluc's skin is probably his Delusion get up when he left The Knights of Favonious. The delusion was his dads. His dad used it to protect them from an attack. His dad died then the incompetent Knights came too late. With him using a delusion and knowing they failed. The old Leaders of the Knights of Favonious would like to bury it in obscurity. A cover up of sorts for their incompetence. Then Diluc used his dad's delusion to seek vengeance. This may also be why he hates the abyss enemies and the Knights of Favonious. So... This is "disillusioned Diluc".
bought the skin as well. he definitely looks cooler and sexier than his normal outfit. he's lvl 90, triple crowned, but my weapon is the feesh. i need that gravestone soon hyv 😭
Diluc is very strong, the game just switched to single target meta and he's aoe based
Also people seem to forget yhat Xiangling (someone who's "better" and free) literally requires building around her. Hell take her out of National Team and she tanks hard

@@Nightvss not really, it's synergy between Bennett and Xiangling. Xiangling is the only character on that team that snapshots, allowing her to get basically infinite uptime off Bennett's buff as long as she used her burst under its effect. Without her, the team takes a massive L- only Kazuha really can substitute, provided he swirls pyro.

Probably still gonna jump from few Welkin moons to cold fish level spending because of the skin. One time to be superficial. Diluc was my first five star and still one of my most used characters at AR58. Kaeya even more. So I guess I use all the characters Kage forgets about.

There the description tells the story that he got this costume from his dad as a ceremonial outfit for his days at the knights but he didn't ended up using it for that, his dad passed and later Diluc made some changes to the outfit so it's perfect for his secret missions

When I was a kid, I had to finish whatever was on my plate whether I liked it or not. Since my family would not wait at the table with me, I'd fill a plastic cup with whatever I didn't want and throw it away. I would then grab a new cup and get water so my parents would think that all I was doing was getting something to help me wash down my food.
