Looks like a fun filled day! Tiffany really had a great handle on the golf car, and going over that scary bridge! We will be coming down for our Lifestyle visit the first weekend in May - cannot wait!!
Great video!! You guys remind me of the wife and I during our recent lifestyle visit....she would drive and I would navigate since she couldn't reliably figure out navigation on the app lol. Only got yelled at like once or twice, so I'll call that a win! My wife and I just bought a house in Dabney (yay!), and we will eventually be looking for golf cars so this is very timely. Glad to hear that you can get all the way up there and back with an EV, that was our primary concern with those two. Curious to learn about charge time...can you recharge it overnight just with the 120VAC? Keep the videos coming, you guys are doing a great job!
Thanks! Awesomeness! Congratulations on the new house in Dabney (and the new Tesla too)! Welcome to The Villages! Yes we just use the regular outlet in our garage to charge the golf cart and the Tesla. Both are charged up and ready to go the next morning. Will do a more detailed information video on charging in the future.
@@MichaelTiffanyTVE Thanks! We are SOOOOO excited! We both really liked the area down there, especially all of the walking paths available (and also separated from the golf cart paths, unlike up north where they seemed to combine them). Hoping to be down there full time before Labor Day, so we'll see....lots of work to do between now and then. Keep up the great work guys!!
We did a GC ride from our house up north to the new high school. 30 miles and two hours one way. Gas GC Yamaha, new Yamaha our 2021 is not loud IMO compared to our 2014.
*Happy Anniversary, Michael and Tiffany* ! Michael and Tiffany, you will end up , picking out Electric Golfcart to buy. Because it's quiet and electric. The biggest hint, Electric Car.
My wife and I are in town this week doing out lifestyle visit, and we just had dinner at Lighthouse Point before heading back to our villa near Brownwood Paddock. We had been in Orlando this morning and drove up Maggison right through Dabney. We also made a stop at Sawgrass for an iced coffee, before heading over the Bexley bridge and headed down to Moultrie Creek to check out where we are hoping to move to. What an expanse of construction when you come over the bridge. We are leaving Sunday, so maybe we will see you out there. Have fun you two, and thanks for sharing.
A thumbs up from The Village of Charlotte. Greek night (Tuesday) at Havana is great. Sit out on Veranda. Not as noisy as the breezeway. I’m sure the people who live south can’t wait for a square larger than Sawgrass. We refer to sawgrass as a want-a-be square. Relic not bad - Hooligans still the best.
Awesomeness! 👍 Thanks for the suggestion and tips. We will try Havana out soon. The Hooligans are probably our favorite band we have seen so far here at TV but Relic is moving up the list.
We received the large 2-sided map of The Villages while we were visiting and were able to track locate the places you mentioned in this ride, so much fun! And what beautiful scenery! Thanks for the info on the electric golf cart.
Hello Michael and Tiffany this is an exciting video because I really want to know how far you can go on an electric golf cart because I also want to get one but was worried that I couldn't go places that I wanted to go, Thanks so much for sharing this video. Glad Tiffany could enjoy some time off,
Lovely to see you both. We are on Day 2 of Lifesyle visit. We are in the Harper Villas across from the Pond at Franklin Rec centre so you drove by us. We took golf cart out but so loud and I have trouble with seat and working pedals but good experience. Danny managed ok. Thanks for another great video ❤
Hi Thanks for posting these videos We are in Lake Denham as well and while I was watching the video I noticed that we cross path ( at minute 11:19) Yellow Yamaha golf cart Keep up the good videos they are very interesting Best luck on your golf cart purchase Ours is a Gas Yamaha and we are very happy with it plus the range is amazing Art
As always, awesome vlog. Can't wait to see what golf cart you guys chose for yourself. Keep on having so much fun. Hope to join you again soon my friends.
Another great video! I didn't realize you lived in Charlotte,NC! We lived in Huntersville, NC before moving here. I wish I knew that when I talked to you at Sawgrass.
Awesomeness! So you lived on the north side of Charlotte and we were on the south side down in Matthews and Mint Hill. Look forward to catching up and talking about the Charlotte area the next our paths cross here at TV. Thanks!
Great video Michael (and Tiffany). I guessed a “patio villa” was in your future way back when and I have a hunch an electric golf car may be your final choice. At first I was leaning toward a Yamaha QT for us and although we have not made a final decision, I am thinking we will go for the lithium Star EV. Based on the range you experienced, I am confident an electric car(t) will serve us just fine. Happy trails!
Thanks Mark! We have not tested the Star out yet but it is on our list to try out soon. It’s such a huge investment we want to make sure we get the right cart for us now and that will meet our needs long term. No range issues going from Dabney and all the way up to Lake Sumter or even Spanish Springs and back. Good luck on your search! We will have more videos of our golf cart shopping and test drives to share soon.
We so enjoyed your electric golf cart ride. So quiet & y’all seem pleased with it too! We were @ Lighthouse too for their fish special plus I adore their coleslaw that has mandarin oranges in it. We so enjoy exploring TV on our refurbished 2017 Gas Yamaha that has captains chair seats, armrests & seatbelts. We recently added the backseat too with seatbelts. We really like our gas Yamaha a lot😄
Awesome Video! Looks like a lot of fun!! Question about the Electric golf cart, do you need a special outlet to plug it in the garage to charge? Hopefully by June will be down there looking for homes! 🙏🤞
What a Fun video!!!! We live in CCC and are also looking for a new golf cart. We currently have a gas GC and, we are debating on getting a lithium battery GC. We have heard good things about them. Thanks for sharing.
So we went to Disney World on Sunday and we got on the turnpike! We drove and drove, then there was construction delays and we had to divert. We'd driven, in a truck mind you, about 40 minutes. When we were driving through the area where we got off, it was Lake Denham! Wow! You're far!! We live north of 466.
@@MichaelTiffanyTVE we did. Surprisingly, Magic Kingdom lines weren't that bad. Buzz was only 5 minutes. We spent a good amount of time on Tom Sawyers island, did the river boat, CoP, People mover, Tiki room. We did not try to get a Tron boarding group at 7am.
I enjoyed this so much. I’m staying in citrus grove for the month of april and have only gotten as far as over the chitty chatty bridge. I’m a bit intimadated with going too far but will keep trying
I took my gas Yamaha golf cart from the Village of Dabney @ Chandler Dr/CR-470 to Mulberry Grove Rec Ctr - 27.1 miles, 1 hr, 38 minutes (via Brownwood and Buena Vista Blvd).
Happy Anniversary! My wife and I are visiting right now and having a great time. Thanks for the videos! We've gotten some great tips even for our short stay. Already scheming on how to get back! 😂
That looked like it was a lot of fun. I bet you go for the electric one 😁I guess we will try the golf cart when we are there but I am not feeling it. Great video 🤩
Great video guys…👍 Michael.. I know you drive electric car.. so I think 🤔 you’re a little biased, thanks for proving, electric works..🤗 also, if you decide to buy electric cart, Check to see if you can upgrade the battery size… most electric carts come with 105 kw Battery for 50 - 60 miles.. upgrade to 210 kw.. get 80- 100 miles 🤪
Thanks so much! 👍😎 Absolutely! We will definitely look at the longer range lithium battery “if” 😉 we go electric. ⚡️ More golf cart shopping and test drive videos soon. 🤗 Thanks!
My wife and I really enjoy your videos...it's almost like we are there with you! Maybe I missed it, but did you state what your final distance was and the amount of charge left in the batteries?
Awesomeness! Glad you are enjoying it right along with us. We drove almost 50 miles total that day and got back home and still had 25% left on the battery.
Absolutely! Spanish Springs was only about 3 miles further north than Lake Sumter Landing. It was 35 miles for us round trip but we drove closer to 50 miles that day with all the exploring we did in different neighborhoods. Still had 25% left on the battery when we got home.
I’m curious how many miles is it from your house to sumpter landing. You can view your Villages gps and it will say miles and time? I know you said you made several stops but I’m curious if the gps is accurate
Yes, very accurate. Almost 18 miles (one way) from our house to Lake Sumter Landing. 21 miles (one way) to Spanish Springs. We drove almost 50 miles round trip that day with all the exploring of different neighborhoods we did on the way back home.
@@MichaelTiffanyTVE50 miles round trip and you had 25% left on charge? Did I read that right? Or were you almost down to zero? Our electric golf car from atomic goes 75 miles top on full charge. But less if we have AC on. We are in Spanish Springs and was wondering how far we could go on a full charge. Maybe we will try and bring our jackery from our Motorhome in case we run out of power. Lol
We still had about 25% charge left after traveling about 50 miles total. How do you like your Atomic? Any issues? Love the idea of AC in the summer. Thanks!
@@MichaelTiffanyTVEwe love our atomic golf cart. We love it for AC and when the weather is windy or raining. We have a gas Yamaha and atomic electric. We bought both used. Gas golf cart is used for playing golf only. We love the atomic because it has back seat and we can put our shopping goods inside and locked up. It also has windshield wipers great for rainy days
I am real concerned that these electric carts and you having a recharge station installed in you garage, will not take you throughout the Villages to the Town Squares You want to visit!
We took last week off (from TH-cam) to celebrate our anniversary! But we are back with new videos! Thanks! M&T❤TVE

How many carts passed you? The 20mph speed seems to be forgotten
How bad are mosquitos this time of year?
No problems during the day. They are starting to come out in the evenings. Summer months are really bad. Thank goodness for screened in lanais!
