My first time ever hearing Ateez's Guerilla, Wonderland, Deja Vu, The Real & Paradigm Teasers
Hello! Welcome to the crew, the circus, the madness...they all apply. There is plenty of room for more Atiny so we'd love to have you. I hope that you enjoy your journey and having an Atiny friend definitely helps. Don't worry about committing yourself to a single member because there is no hurry and it's hard. I don't know a single Atiny who has ONE bias in this group. I started as a Hongjoong (Captain) bias, then added San, then depending on the era/ comeback, another member some along and wrecks me. I've just committed to be OT8 with a focus on Hongjoong and San BUT Yunho...the last few comebacks he's been coming for me. Anyway, I recommend album listens because their title songs don't fully give you what Ateez really is. They are quite versatile and the messages in their songs are one of the main reasons that I love this group. Have fun and if for some reason, you're not quite feeling them, that's okay too. We appreciate that you gave the guys your time. :)

The fact that choosing a bias in ATEEZ is almost an imposible thing to do, I couldn't agree more. At first for me it was San, but them came Seonghwa and Hongjoong... then Yunho and Mingi and now Yeosang ans Jongho are climbing up. So, I love them all even if I'm a little Seonghwa-San biased 😌 OT8 here.
Yes many people found that powerful rapper Mingi so attractive and have power on stage too but it will be so shocked when u find he is a princess of group 😁, 🤩

Ateez haves a very detailed lore , Hongjoong (the leader , we call him captain) said that they haven't even released half of it yet. But pretty much Ateez are pirates who can time travel using the cromer (a sandglass) and have alter egos called Halateez , the halateez live in a dystopian world where emotions, music and art are forbidden ( as seen in the Guerrilla mv ) and they start to fight against the gouvernement to bring art music and emotions back into the world . They have series of albums , the first series that they released was Treasure series ( its actually second in chronological order ) second one to be released is Fever series ( first in chronological order) and now they've started the World series . You can find more details about it from Atinys (ateez's fandom) by searching up on youtube ateez lore but then again everything is a theory since we dont rlly know if its actually true also twitter is a heaven for ateez theory u find a lot of diff aspects of it , the one thing that we know for sure is that Ateez are pirates who are traveling around the world (space/time) towards their utopia and trying to find their treasure (also for more information about the lore theres also the Diary Film they released regarding the lore for the fever series )
Ateez are the future of kpop .alot is coming from them to notice this is just the beginning

I love that you caught the reckless feeling to their dancing. Doing the same moves in slightly different styles gives them the appearance of being synchronized and unsynchronized simultaneously. It also fits their time and dimension traveling pirates storyline really well, and makes it so fun to watch their fan cams because each one really is different. Mingi, the deep-voiced rapper you liked dances with natural swag that often makes it appear like he's free styling. Their high-tone rapper, producer, and leader, Hongjoong (blue hair in the Wonderland opening, red hair in DejaVu, and two-toned Hongruella in Guerilla) often dances with abandment. Seonghwa (pink hair in the real, dark hair with shaved sides in Guerrilla, and blonde in Paradigm) is graceful, fluid and fierce at the same time. San (carrying a bat down the hall in The Real, standing in flowers in the scene you liked in Wonderland, super short bangs in DejaVu, and wearing a blond mullet in Guerilla) is athletic and moves like a panther. Hongjoong, Seonghwa, and San together are referred to as the demon line because their incredible facial expressions in dark songs can make them seem possessed. Yunho (spoke in the street before the beat drop in The Real and the seated member whose singing you liked in Guerilla) is the tallest at 6ft 1in but is incredibly light on his feet and makes most choreo look effortless. Yeosang (held the butterfly in DejaVu and was wearing the jacket you mentioned in Paradigm) is strong yet captures interesting details while Wooyoung (in chains in Wonderland, had a close up with a flower/punched San at the end of DejaVu, and has red hair in Paradigm) is in charge of sexiness. Finally, Jongho, their youngest and main vocalist, is a beast when he isn't conserving energy for his piercing high notes. I hope you'll watch their dance practices and some live performances. They are called performance kings for a reason.

I would LOVE to watch your journey into Ateez!!😁 You’ll just fall harder and harder. They are performance kings!! Live stages and dance practices are epic. And their entire discography is the best! The rapper you were fixed on(his line when he starts his rap in most of their songs, FIX ON!) is Mingi. Mingi is a freaking god on stage! And completely opposite off stage lol. Can’t wait to watch more Ateez with you!😊
Oh, you're going to have so much fun with them :) Arts, and especially film students love Ateez because one, visuals, obvs, but two, they have a storyline going through all their albums and all their performances are usually full of references to it and to different movies and books, and various easter eggs (if you rewatch the Guerrilla MV you'll probably notice some, like the Fritz Lang nod, I would also recommend watching the Guerrilla trailers because they add to worldbuilding). Also, three, Ateez have a very theatrical, intense way of performing, they're much keener on conveying emotions than just looking pretty - it especially comes across in live stages.
If you'd like to find out who they are you can watch some guides but the best ones are very long, so if you just want to quickly see who is who I recommend this one, even though it contains some minor inaccuracies like their positions in the group (most importantly, Yunho, Mingi and Wooyoung are the main dancers with Yunho being the one the others look up to) th-cam.com/video/YNmrjPSX3QU/w-d-xo.html

that's so interesting because for me what got me into kpop in general was ateez and their song the real it was the first thing i hear (and u started with it too 😍) and i couldn't stop after that i love a lot of groups now but ateez still my fav my ult group they are amazing not just their songs but the whole thing i full in love with them as human beings as well as artists
and btw their b side song are even more beautiful than the title tracks for me all my fav songs are b sides they can do every genre of music and i can't help but love them all
also about having a bias i think that will be so difficult i remember at first i really liked them all then it was mingi (the deep voice rapper) and san but now its the captain hongjoong but like we love them all

For a film student interested in the lore, I recommend: (*videos to watch)
Their storyline starts with the second series of albums (Fever) so -
*Diary Film: Short film of the lore origin story of ATEEZ, which leads into
*Inception MV
The Fever series of albums is about the boys dealing with the struggles of growing up and coming together.
In the Treasure series they become pirates seeking treasure.
Woven through these we meet their alter egos from an alternate dimension, who use a special hourglass linked to the moon to communicate with them.
The World series just started and Guerrilla is our first time in the alternate dimension (Strictland) where emotions, and thus art, are banned. You should watch:
*THE WORLD 'MOVEMENT' Official Trailers 1 and 2, and
*Guerrilla Teaser 1, in that order
They join together to make a short film leading straight into the Guerrilla MV
which you should re-watch aaaaall the way to the end for more story
That's the basic overview. There are tons of details and theories to play with too of course.

@@JeanetHenning It was definitely worth the trip to see them (Live in England but not London). All the songs they performed were amazing but Guerilla was another level - The crowd was screaming "Break the Wall" so loudly you couldn't hear Ateez clearly, all our voices merged
