I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where TH-cam started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.💕💕

I’m in pains. Because I haven’t paid been at work for a month and half. Just quitted. My first salary after graduation. As a young man still coming up whenever I think of all the debts and bills I have to pay, I feel so overwhelmed. But this song always calm’s me down. This time next year I will forget all the pain I have gone through. I will publish my book which will be successful. I will be in school studying my Master’s Degree. I couldn't wait until this song came out and it was well worth the wait. A song that captures how most, if not all of us feel in our hearts and situations. I used to believe that Jesus didn't truly understand how we felt going through these tough times (just because I looked at His perfection and divinity and not appeal to His humanity) that feels like it's gonna break us but getting to know Him more in scriptures and His life shows me He does. I especially love the fact that this was shot in black and white instead of color. Perfect way to express how this ties in with emotions.. IMO.

I am proud yet humbled to share a generation with him and all the other amazing singers/songwriters within the Maverick and Elevation worship groups! Praise and worship I feel like for a while was a "pre-church" activity that many would skip out on and just come for the sermon. THAT IS NO MORE ! ! ! I pray this trend continues because praise and worship is literally like a phone charger for our souls/spirits! I’m 40 and a long time Christian. 10 years ago I had my first experience of autism - my son. He is non verbal and has significant challenges. I have questions. Many questions. My faith has wavered. My church hasn’t supported well. I feel alone. I lost all my hair and put on so much weight. His needs mean I have no time for friends, but every Sunday I go to church and lead the musicians and tech teams. Then we come home and he has epic meltdowns. And I have no one to call.
I make enough money and have a good career, but I’ve thought some dark thoughts. Now I have 2 more kids, both neurotypical and they’re amazing, but he’s the one I love the most!
