The Secondary gains around limiting beliefs... I know I have more work to do in this area... I also loved hearing that the 3 points Margot says that she gained the most out of the training programme are exactly where I need help with... Self Worth... Boundaries & Body Listening & Awareness. Thankyou for this video... Very helpful & inspiring! 😊
@@jetsetter9758 glad it was helpful! If you’d like help like Margot got. Apply for the program here www.cfshealth.com/form and the team will send you all the details!
I can totally identify with Margot- I've Always been super fit and super social. I've lost my job and lots of " friends " due to my health issues. I have dietary complications due to having Coeliac disease and GERD along with severe spinal osteoporosis . I'm still navigating my way around all of my newly diagnosed health issues along with having LCF/CFS. This podcast along with your others certainly give me hope . I've been so ill since catching the covid 19 virus back in May 2020 . All the specialist I've seen and counsellors have just given up on me now 🙄😂Thank God I am inheritenly a positive person and a qualified non practising counsellor myself . I've always been umber fit - I trained everyday - running 5ks , sit ups etc etc rowing machine , spinning classes- I certainly fit the CFS profile that's for sure - Thank you once again for giving me hope 🙏Namaste.
I definitely see CFS as the body’s wisdom and a protective response by the body. Basically an ‘emergency brake/system’ - because imagine the consequences if you carried on as you were pushing forward down a terrible path?!!
Please don't skip this because it's a long video. It's a must watch! Margot is extremely inspiring and so engaging. And thanks as always Toby. Keeping me honest! Good luck Margot x
Hi Toby! My biggest helpful mindset tip from the video is that if I am the problem, I can be the solution too 😊👍 Thanks Toby for your life-changing program. Sending Love your way
Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!! I've watched hundreds of CFS recovery interviews. This one NAiLS IT! I've been on this journey for nearly 2 decades and always believed recovery was possible. I just didn't have the information available today. In fact, I did have a remission early on but major stress brought me down again. Why? Because nothing had truly changed - on the inside. Margot here helped to put a new spotlight on my "stuckness."
Very inspiring and I saw a lot of me in her and I can see the new me coming soon.........I like the fact that she saw the illness not as an obstacle but a stepping stone. I am really encouraged and I will watch baseline the 4th time to confirm exactly where I am at and the three stages of recovery. I also learnt that the healing must be targeted to all aspects of my life. Its like a mansion has been blasted and brought down and a sky scraper is being build little by little. Thank you Toby for all that you are doing.
So many insights, so many takaways. I've made little inspiration messages for myself from this. I am the problem, but i am also the solution. Getting well is hard, being ill is harder. Each day I can make every decision lead me to health....and other. I pray i can form these into habits of life. Thank you Toby and Margo
Amazing interview! Enlightening and inspiring . Her story encourages me to put consistent dedication ,no matter what obstacles come up, in my efforts towards recovery. Thank you Margot and Toby..
Thank you for this. I have long covid with chronic fatigue and have never felt so sad + hopeless in my life. It’s hard to not be in negativity but will try to say nice things to myself when I can ✔️
Absolutely loved this episode! ❤ Very inspiring and a great reminder of how to truly live accordingly to your needs and values. How do you sustain recovery if you have to work full time even though you're still unwell. I am currently experiencing long covid and it's been a tough ride. Thank you for bring me hope again with this video.
I found this video so positively helpful while being in a lonely place of despair. I realise that I'm the problem and I'm the solution and to stop looking back at the people and the situations that have brought on my chronic fatigue through trauma and burnout. Thank you so much Toby and Margot, you're both inspirational people ❤
Thank you, Toby and Margot. I can certaintly see a part of myself in Margot as I formely was in a career that I did not find fullfilling eventhough it is a very meaningful one.
Thank you for another great interview with such a relatable recovery story. I'm so glad to find and listen to someone who has found a way to survive, move on, find their new self and thrive. I totally relate to the anger release towards the toxicity of friends and family who present in our life. I feel making that positive decision to stand up against the toxic control in my life has truly helped me also. I'm still finding balance, though, so this message is great for me. Thank you so much.
What if your old life was satysfying, I was happy and pinching myself feeling like I was living the life Ive ever dreamt of. My friends, the ones still sticking around are positive and supportive. I dont want to change my life thats the thing!! I want to live like before….:-(
Her story is so familiar! Two years in a row i have driven my family 500 miles to our holiday destination. Two years in a row i have spent the entire holiday in bed.
Hey there CFS Health. I was listening to your audio and realized it was not as clean as it could be. I'm an audio editor. If you want I can send an example of some work I've done. I want to offer my services to you and clean up the audio to sound cleaner. Let me know if this is something you would like to do. Thank you
A few other resource books.... "Unbecoming" by Lauren Giammarco, a client of CSF Health who wrote a book of her healing experience. And "Chronic Babe 101" by Jenni Grover, a life coach for creative people who have chronic illness... she herself has multiple chronic illnesses.
@@lindseylush I honestly can't afford the CSF Health program either after being on disability for 30+years... I need my savings for the retirement home and elder care when the time comes...lol! BUT.... there is so much you can learn from all of the CFS Health videos and podcasts. I get multiple "a-ha" moments from each one. Personally I feel... once you begin to tackle the "inner stuff".... childhood trauma, core belief systems, setting new boundaries... the physical symptoms slowly get better. Life is so much more enjoyable with a healthy mindset.... even if you still have a chronic illness.

I’m the toxicity in my life. I’ll say it again: I’m the person in my way. I don’t know how I just had this aha moment after so long 😮

Wow, Margot was an inspiration which I really need. I think I need to make a vision board to look at like she did. Thank you Margo and Toby.
My experience of having CFS in the 1980s was a nightmare, trying to find help pre Internet was hard.

I cut out everybody. It led to being more isolated not healing.
3 years..? 3?!!! Try 20... 3 years is nothing, at least not enough to turn you into a cynical, jaded piece of nothing like me.
No specific advise. Just pushing your program
Yea I’d love some more specific advice & lessons about what to do. Honestly I don’t find the program to be affordable at all without an income :/
There is free advice in many of the videos and on the CSF website. Check out some of the resources in the description box.
