But I think there is problem with your judgement: you compare one american animation studio with the entirety of japanese animation which consists of different authors and studios. Compare it with one exact studio, for example A-1, and you may find that it's not like they have much more variety. (Well, of course it's not like every studio has only one style, but that's beside the point).

They did Tanjiro dirty but yes I loved the Nezuko and Shinobu. Sailor Moon was extremely Disneyfied but I didnt hate it. She kind of looked like Tinkerbell. The Ichigo was not that bad but he seemed too soft for my guy. I hated the Yu-Gi! One Punch Man and Inu Yasha were the best males for me.
