    Wow amazing video, the internet is full of just abstract explanations regarding the definition one teaches by examples. I really like the way you used the examples to explain the concept.

    at 20:30 would u rexplain what get to be sent to omega2. preimage omega2. little cinfusion about the element (3). is it emty set?

    fantastic!! Would you mind explaining why exactly we need such functions though? I now understand what they are.....but still not sure about why they're needed.

      They are made that way so that we can integrate them. As far as I know, measurable functions are the largest class of function we know of that we can do analysis with(i.e. integrating them, although not necessarly Riemann integrable)
