The "One Night Strahd" name makes me want to design a one-shot type template/system for running a mafia/werewolf type game, where a player is randomly chosen to be the betrayer amongst the party.
One question that I have is that it seems that the Codex of Infinite Planes didn't have anything about The Outlands and Sigil the City of Doors, then again TSR had to give that place it's own setting so I doubt a chapter or section would satisfy fans of Planescape.
Unfortunately you are absolutely correct! Planescape isn’t a setting that’s legal for the DMsGuild at this point, but the planes have been a part of the game’s fabric since 1E. When I designed the Codex I had to carefully thread the needle between what was allowed and not. Sigil was definitely off the table, and in fact I had a single reference to it that was caught by the DMsGuild team after I went live with it! I had to pull the ref, which was fine, but it underscored the fine line I was on. I am working on the appendix which would include the Outlands, though again it would pull more from older sources than 2E, but there’s still enough there I think for an engaging plane of adventure. Happy gaming!

Thanks for the in depth reviews (and discount codes). Always great to see your opinion on published information (both official and public content).

Thank you sooo much for sharing these! I've been looking for a planescape tool for forever.
I've genuinely been waiting for this video for all month 🤣
I love the codex. Using it for the elemental planes.
I thought last December was the last for 2020. Jk! Many of us feel as if 2020 never ended.
