I'm afraid that is pretty complicated and not really my area of expertise. Also, which antibiotic is prescribed depends on a lot of factors other than the specific infection - like antibiotic resistance to various antibiotics in a location, patient allergies to certain antibiotics, etc. I have a playlist on antibiotics where you can see videos on broad vs. narrow spectrum antibiotics, bactericidal vs. bacteriostatic antibiotics, antibiograms, and more.
I don’t know why but before each video I find interesting, I go through the book and then come back to the video. I even went on to try and understand Thayer-Martin agar which lead me to a question about the mechanism of action of vancomycin, that was pretty interesting but now I’m kinda confused on another question soooo off-topic…Is Red-man syndrome from vancomycin considered a hypersensitivity reaction type 1 even though it doesn’t interact with IgE? Thanks in advance to anyone willing to answer my question and not judge my unorthodox way of studying ^.^;;
Generally, a cell is the most basic unit of life. Acellular things, like viruses and prions, are not considered living things for this reason. In other words, there is no such thing as "acellular life". Thanks for watching!

I believe Red Man Syndrome is considered a kind of pseudo-allergy. It is not a classic Type I reaction.
What is the indicator used in chocolate blood agar?
There is no pH indicator in this media. microbeonline.com/chocolate-agar-composition-uses-colony-characteristics/
