When I DM tabletop games (like D&D) for my friends, i like to use music to help create atmosphere. When my buddies hear this, they know they're at the final dungeon.
This is by far the best version of _Palace of Decadence_ I've ever heard... Thank you for uploading this and sharing it with the rest of us Firebrands! ;-D
I remember a long time ago when Capcom Unity was doing a Wii eShop point contest based on nostalgic experiences with their 16-bit SNES titles. I did an entry with Demon's Crest, commenting on how this world was one of misery and wonder, and the unusual juxtaposition of Phalanx looking to impose his will on the world using the Crest of Heaven (A starting point, rather. His true aim was to create a conjunction of the six crests to acquire the means of his ultimate conquest- the Crest of Infinity). *Palace of Decadence* feels just like that- It's supposed to be sacred, but is tainted by Phalanx's desire for domination. His palace, styled after the grand gothic cathedrals of the Human Realm, feels more like a profane mockery- a house of hubris. I ended up winning those 2000 eShop points. :)
@@danythepunisher914 también me hace pensar en que es un palacio dado que le pertenece al entonces rey phalanx y como a este solo le importa el poder no es un buen líder demoniaco, de ahí la decadencia o bueno al menos eso imagino yo
I really liked the gothic music of Demon's Crest. It fit very well with the tone of the game. That said, 100% the game can be annoying, but that kinda comes with the G&G franchise as a whole. I wish we got more Demon games, because I think they CAN work. Though that requires Capcom to cooperate...That out of the way, I really like this version. Something about the sound of the original could be very unintentionally ear piercing and tinny, but this shows what the song SHOULD sound like. Any chance we'll hear a version of the iconic "Beyond the Colosseum"?
Well, imagine Ghosts N Goblins (same franchise, it's a spin-off) combined with Metroid/Castlevania elements. It's great. Should've been in SNES Classic.
Such an underrated game
Lapin Mort which system did it come out for?
THREEIO SNES and made by Capcom
Lapin Mort oh I remember that being reviewed somewhere, truely a hidden gem.

Thank you for this, my childhood game and always my favorite
Totally pumps up Firebrand to exterminate Phalanx.
El palacio de la decadencia, el título si expresa lo que el lugar dice
Se escucha más como un lugar demoníaco y al mismo tiempo cautivador

@@patiasuelos375 , pues si como ya dije un lugar demoniaco y cautivador
When the notification for this upload popped up, I immediately assumed that it was castlevania related before I noticed the "Demon's Crest" part.

it's a pretty underrated game, and it's a spinoff of Ghouls and Ghosts actually

@@AlfonsoSRT if it's any consolation, it's in the Nintendo Switch Online SNES app
The Darkest game for SNES!
Liked and subscribed in the first ten seconds
This is but a formality to the final fight between Firebrand and Phalanx to decide the fate of this realm
My body is ready lol I love this game to death. I still run through it at least 2 times a month.
How the fuck do u beat the last boss ?
really nice!
Yesssssssssssss!!!! :D Fantastic!
note: you might want to turn down the headset and speaker volume for this one.
Good job.
Amazing song. I love this game
J. Bach would be fascinated to hear this
Thanks for doing this one 😊
MORE PLIS!
This is impressive. Where can I purchase your music?
Hermoso
Cool!
I feel a good arrange would be "the boiler room" from S.O.S. (SNES). Had really atmospheric music, and I feel the game is a little underappreciated.
I'm listening to this for the first time... why am I thinking of Castle Nathria?
what are they waiting for a remake?
Oh this is pretty good. As much as I liked the original version, the samples used on it weren't the best.
Let me buy this from you sir
Can I get permission to include some of your remixes in my mega man x fangame and/or videos?
you know i'm lamda on inc right
i okay'd that ages ago
Couldn't remember if I asked or not before lol...

Just started playing it without knowing what it was, this is amazing
