Mizuno is possibly the best suit on the planet especially for sprinting and now they’re digging into the distance game and I love it.
Have they released the distance suit yet? Id love to try that out

There's the japanese proverb "the yard of neighbor looks well cared".
For me,as a japanese,it is really happy that many Americans or Europians like to wear mizuno.I felt it so proud that Japanese company is praised by many swimmers internationally.However,I tend to think that American or Europian company like speedo,TYR,arena is more cool,and is superior to Mizuno.
So,I'm really helped by swimmer's comparison over Mizuno and others.
Speedo honestly makes the worst tech suits out of the brands you mentioned, but they are the most popular because of brand name recognition.

@@nor-taishi-high-tension7240 They aren't bad, they are just inferior to what Arena, Mizuno, and TYR are making right now. They do some of the same things as those brands, but just not as well, and are more expensive. They also wear out really quick. But like I mentioned, you will see a lot of people in America wear it in college or HS because their teams are sponsored by the and they don't have a choice, or they just know the brand Speedo because of their legendary name, despite the fact they haven't have the best tech suit out in the market since 2011.

I wore a Mizuno for the first time this year and I will never go back to another suit. I've fallen in love it! The compression in the legs is very important for me and its something I haven't found in any other suit.
This year I used the arena powerskin carbon air2 and I felt very much so indifferent about the suit. It was very easy to get on but it didn’t seem super tight, I’m definitely going to look at the tyr shockwave or other tech suits for my next short course season
yeah the arena air and the valor are really light and stretchy compared to some of the thicker suits like the mizunos speedos and tyrs
i’m personally a fan of the tyr avictor it’s like the carbon air i’ve heard but i’ve never tried anything different

Used Arena Carbon Flex VX for the first time in 200 BR and felt better than the TYR and Mizuno. Gonna continue to use it for the 200 BR. It's definitely an underrated race suit.
My favorite suit is the venzo easily. It has never disappointed me in a year and a half. I wanna try the shockwave badly though. Just waiting for a cool color…

I've swam Breaststroke on the nationals with a Tyr avictor "high waist" and I prefer them over the arena carbon or the venzo's. In Breaststroke I somehow feel my kick is a bit more efective with less leg compression and without "assist".
Swam in the neo SL this season. Incredible suit. Best for Mid distance (200s and 400 IM, what its made for) but nonetheless solid for sprint too. Great for breast especially. Good flexibility and decent compression. Probably will take venzo for sprint but for mid distance ill take the SL any day.

I had been swimming in arena powerskin ST. When I went to my end of season meet i bought a Finis Fuse Jammer. First ever suit with compression, i still need to get use to the feeling

From what i heard from tech suits you could only wear theme a couple of times (like 3) before the coating comes off was wondering if this is true?
mizuno mr 3 is by far the best suit i have ever worn. tried the mizuno 4, and 5, speedo x and valor, adizero, and arena carbon. None come close to the feeling of your hips floating and legs snapping together in the mr 3
Maybe review A3 Performance's newest suit? I've been wearing the VICI for quite a while and plan on getting the PHENOM soon. It has "Bodimax Compression" built into it, which I didnt think much of at first, but it WORKS. With many tech suits ive tried before such as the TYR Avictor, the compression is all in the wrong spots and my legs end up hurting before I even swim because the waistline is too tight. After wearing the VICI istg my legs DO NOT get tired. Even mid race its a mind blowing difference from the Venzo, Avictor, and Arena EVO ive worn previously. I'd love to see another opinion on them, specifically yours, as I know youve probably worn close to every tech suit in circulation right now. Thanks :D

this year i've used the tyr avictor and I really love it. it's held up pretty well and I really like the balance of compression it has for freestyle (and it's pretty affordable)
that suit just isn’t incredibly durable. atleast for me it wasn’t

the mizuno g sonic III lasted me 3 years for me, its a really tight an durable suit. yall should really be looking into mizuno especially if yall are sprinters. that amount of buoyancy the suit gives you is insane. speedo really disappointed me with their new suit, its so stretchy and the compression only focuses on the waist and leg grips of the suit. the suit gives no compression to the rest of your frame while mizuno does. mizuno's compression covers most of the suit while speedo's compression only covers the leg grips and your waist.
I'm swimming 100 and 200. Any recommendations for good racing trunks?

I wore my freinds mizuno for the first time a month ago and have decided that I am not buying another non-mizuno tech suit again. Shockwave looks and seems like a great option aswell
Idk if any tech suit will beat the Mizuno 3 ST. Literally every sprinter who wasn't sponsored wore that suit, including the magical 7 medals from Dressel in 2017

I am also a breaststroker. For the 100 I prefer the mizuno Mr. However, I cannot stay in that thing for a 200 breast, it just kills my legs, so I wear either the venzo or a pure valor.

My daughter's Mizuno only lasted 10 races before it was garbage. That was in the period of January to February 20 of this year. The suite is a good suite, but per swimoutlet, it only lasts that many races. Will I buy it again if necessary I will say yes

Which manufacturer gets the contract for the next Olympics? Will all water-based athletes wear that suit? Or can they use any fina-approved suit?
They’ve always worn what suit they’re either personally sponsored by or their choice. They’ve never been mandated a certain brand.

Interesting you say mizuno is very durable. Most comments on the brand are that you shouldn't buy them unless a good athlete because you will need multiple as they tear easily. Perhaps this is just the sprint versions that are super popular, not the multi racers.

As a distance swimmer I think that Avictors are best for distance but venzos are better for mid distance/sprint because of how much they lifts your hips.

Sadly, Mizuno is not available in Europe anymore. I currently use Arena but I must say my old Mizuno is still in good shape after many years of use, will see how Arena is doing. Congrats for your last results.
