Pottery - creating a hollow ball with pinch pots.

This is an introduction to the basic pottery technique of using pinch pots to create a hollow form and minimise chances of your work exploding in the kiln as a result of being too thick. Although a very basic technique, this is the fastest and simplest way to create a hollow form for any pottery project which requires a ball or egg shape as a basis. It can also be used to create decorative stones or as a starting point for more complicated forms.
