Finally: in the evenings it is very pretty outside, especially now that is autumn. Normally we enjoy a lot of time with family and friends but currently it is just the two of us. We do like to be socially distant. And, so, that is how we spend our time.

I think a big part of it is because Spain is a very social community, so a lot of us do like to go out and walk through the streets and have lots of... lots of meals and social times with our friends and family. It's a very social living culture. But I want to let you know that I am someone who has experienced Covid, and in fact I was hospitalized. So I want to tell you it's very, very important to make sure that you continue to follow the rules, keep wearing your masks and keeping as safe as possible. Wash your hands, social distance and be very, very careful about your walking around town and games with people. These are important times to be as safe as we can. So be careful. Because I didn't think it could happen to me and I did end up at a hospital. It was very frightening. I didn't expect it, my symptoms were not that bad until they got worse. And actually it got worse, after all, was in a hospital. And even after I got home. So please be careful out there.

Eu tenho escutado a rádio americana Fox News o dia inteiro, todos os dias. Antes eu já sentia que conseguia compreender a maior parte das coisas que eu ouvia, mas agora ouvindo inglês o dia todo tem aprimorado mais ainda minha compreensão auditiva.
Eu trabalhei em um museu aqui no RJ, atendia muito estrangeiro e na maioria das vezes entendia o que eles falavam.
Mas eu peco bastante na pronúncia. Mas você tendo o contato do dia a dia com estrangeiros, te faz perder completamente a timidez. Ainda mais quando você é obrigado a falar com eles 🤣
Isso me faz refletir bastante quando as pessoas dizem pra você fazer intercâmbio e ficar longe de brasileiro, pra só se comunicar em inglês hahahah faz muito sentido

Na segunda parte do vídeo, apesar de ser mais difícil a compreensão por ainda estar em fase inicial de aprendizado, eu mesmo me surpreendi, ouvi mais atentamente, a pergunta 3, 4 , 5 eu acertei, pelas palavras soltas que já conheço e usei a lógica para responder, fator que justamente me fez errar a pergunta 6, eu ouvi Friends e achei que era a letra b a resposta, errei, mas que vamo que vamo...

No nível intermediário, a expressão my experience me fez acreditar que a resposta era a letra c, acertei, ouvi as palavras culture e hospital, o que me orientou nas escolha das alternativas a e b respectivamente, já a pergunta 10, não compreendi nada, me utilizei da lógica, e citei a letra A, mais uma vez ouvi atentamente e apesar do meu vocabulário ainda ser baixo, palavras que já são de meu conhecimento me orientaram muito bem para poder responder.

Vou ser honesto, eu na metade do vídeo da Kat estava certo de que a letra A era a resposta, mas daí ela mencionou Spain e fiquei na dúvida... considero como acerto 😅 e a pergunta 2 eu acertei, estou apenas no 4° mês de curso, acredito que ainda sou nível básico, pq não compreendo toda uma fala, ou discurso, apenas palavras soltas ou frases estruturadas conforme eu estou aprendendo em aula, a fala natural e informal ainda é uma dificuldade para eu entender.

Penso que a professora Kat deve ter tido muito trabalho em Madrid porque os espanhóis são meio aversos ao inglês, pelo menos na Catalunha tive dificuldade em encontrar filmes legendados para assistir na tv e eram poucas opções no cinema.

Hello! My name is Kat and I am originally from Sacramento, California, in the United States and I speak with the California American accent. I'm here to tell you about my daily routine. I live in the United... I'm sorry! I no longer live in the United States, I now live in Madrid, Spain. Here in Madrid, Spain it's a beautiful place to live with my daughter and we have wonderful opportunities throughout the day. In the morning we wake up and have some delicious coffee and croissants. But we live very close to a "chocolateria" where we like to go get "churros" and "chocolate". My favorite things to discuss about the culture here in Spain are the food and the different foods that we like to eat. We also like to go and have our "menu do dia", which is a afternoon... an afternoon opportunity to go out and get our biggest meal of the day. And here in Spain the biggest meal of the day is lunch. And we also like to spend a lot of time walking. We live in a very walkable community where we walk all over the city. And living in the center of Madrid, Spain it's a wonderful chance to do that. Finally: in the evenings it is very pretty outside, especially now that is autumn. We do like to enjoy the city's streets and walking the streets to see the beautiful lights and all the wonderful decorations that are available to us. Normally we enjoy a lot of time with family and friends but currently it is just the two of us. We do like to be socially distant. And, so, that is how we spend our time.

I would like to talk about my past experiences with Covid. Here in Madrid, Spain we do have very high cases currently. I think a big part of it is because Spain is a very social community, so a lot of us do like to go out and walk through the streets and have lots of... lots of meals and social times with our friends and family. It's a very social living culture. But I want to let you know that I am someone who has experienced Covid, and in fact I was hospitalized. So I want to tell you it's very, very important to make sure that you continue to follow the rules, keep wearing your masks and keeping as safe as possible. Wash your hands, social distance and be very, very careful about your walking around town and games with people. These are important times to be as safe as we can. So be careful. Because I didn't think it could happen to me and I did end up at a hospital. It was very frightening. I didn't expect it, my symptoms were not that bad until they got worse. And actually it got worse, after all, was in a hospital. And even after I got home. So please be careful out there.

I love traveling, and I have traveled to many, many countries in the past. Being from California, of course, I traveled throughout the United States, but I really enjoyed traveling through... throughout the world. I have been to Canada, I have been to Mexico, I have been throughout Europe, I have been to Africa, I have been to parts of... ah... the Middle East, including I've once been to Turkey...
