Much as I love the intensely mysterious Maisky/Argerich version of this magnificent work, this slightly gentler (after the unusually fast first mvt.) more fluid version works just as well for me. The story it tells is a little different, but the beauty and mystery is still there. How I wish Grieg's April 1906 performance with Pablo Cassals was recorded. (Thanks for putting the complete sonata on this one video.)
