Meaning that the work of the law has been fulfilled by Christ finishing work on the cross. It was his merit cup which is Grace. If you read that passage carefully it was only saying that Grace is a gift not faith. Unless anyone repents or they will likewise perish.

The knowledge of good and evil, I believe, was a real thing, a fulcrum by which man became responsible to God for his paths. Our chosen paths all led downhill to death until The Savior intervened, caused us the Elect to receive His life giving power and raised us to live again in His presence. Having the knowledge of good and evil is not the same as having the power to resist evil and hold to the good, unless Christ...

People who are against it have obviously not watched even the first 2 minutes of episode 1 where they state before anything starts that it is NOT a documentary and NOT meant to replace the gospels. They say everyone needs to read and study the gospels themselves, because the Chosen is a SHOW - not a religion, not a church, and not a documentary.

CHOOSE YE THIS DAY.... THIS is a day of CHOOSING. ( of course we all 'choose' and make our choices!!! )
All of this division we see in this world, in this nation and in the church... this is the sword of Christ. (not a weapon of war, but a sharp blade that divides)
Christ came not to bring peace (worldly peace) to the world, but DIVISION.
This, my friend is the preparation for the separation of the wheat from the tares.
On that day, there will be no middle ground. NO middle ground.
All must choose.... All will be compelled to choose.
CHOOSE YE THIS DAY whom you will serve. As for me... I will serve the Lord. (I have a small plaque of this on my front door)
This is a day of choosing. And, in order to choose wisely, we must know TRUTH.
Those that LOVE truth shall be saved... Those that do not have a love for truth, shall be deceived.
    CHOOSE YE THIS DAY!!!!!!

you did not chose Me, I chose you. All that the Father has given me shall come to Me, I lose not one. But unto you it has been granted to beliveve. You are preaching the ultimate humanism. And as many as received Him, (not accept) to those He gave the power of salvation, not by the will of the flesh, or the blood, but by the will of God who has mercy. Free will died with Adam when he chose sin. When you were born did you have a choice to not be a sinner? No you were spiritually dead. Only by grace you are saved. The natural man accepts not the things of God.............

Did Lazerus choose to be brought back to life by Christ? Obviously this specific situation is dealing with his physical life but it gives an awesome picture of what Jesus does with us dead sinners when He brings us to "spiritual life" by His choice.
Just like in the creation account in Genesis when God speaks there is life that springs forth where He wills.
Also when Jesus was speaking directly after the popular John 3:16 verse, He speaks of the Holy Spirit going back and forth and going where He wills.
Giving God ALL the glory in the salvation process is the only acceptable thing for a Christian to do.
If it were up to us we would all be totally lost.

The Bible does teach man’s responsibility BUT it also clearly teaches God’s sovereign choice in salvation.

When God causes us to be born again, He gives us a new heart that desires Him! If God doesn’t draw us and revive us then we cannot choose God because. He changes our will. That ain’t being a robot folks, that’s being born again.

Pastor Jack privately interpreted the scripture in Joshua 24:15 when he said "Joshua put it this way. Joshua said, for you, Israel, make up your mind. Are you going to serve these gods of your pagan fathers that worship Baal and Ashtoreth and all these pagan deities? Or are you going to worship Yahweh? Choose today whom you shall serve. If God determined in advance those who would go to hell based upon His choosing, then what was Joshua talking about? (J.Hibbs)"
The Bible says in Joshua 24:15: God did not give the Israelites a choice in Joshua 24:15, He said, if it seem evil to you to serve me, wow, that means I've already told you to serve me. (Deut 11:13, Deut 28:14) God is looking through their perspective. You think it's evil for you to serve me. See the difference there, Instead of just taking something right out in the middle of the text, God has already commanded the Israelites to serve Him, Deut 11:13. (JR)

ut o the debate of Calvinism vs Arminianism. are we gonna preach it from mans perspective or Gods? Man doesnt have the ability to choose God but God who is rich in grace and mercy choose to give you the free gift of eternal life. esp 2 8 and 9 says that not of your free will salvation is a gift from God. God does not give the gift of salvation to everyone. I do not believe in universalism. God says i will have mercy on whom i will have mercy. Bible is very clear that your salvation is of God and God alone.

Salvation is all of God 100 percent. (Jonah 2:9). He saves us all by Himself. Salvation is of the Lord (Ephesians 2:1-10: Romans9:15-16).
You don’t have the free will to choose God. God chooses you.
You can not work for your salvation. It is a free gift (Roman’s 5:15, 16, 6:23).
Our only responsibility is to turn away from sin and to receive Christ as our Lord and Savior(John 1:2. Acts16:30-31).
Salvation is: By grace alone as the basis of salvation.
Through faith alone as the means of salvation .
In Christ alone as the object of faith.

    *Genesis 15 - "Abraham's righteousness"*
    Christianity vs. Hebrew:
You can see in the beginning of chapter 15 that says: "After this" - the hebrew says "After those things" - meaning, what had happened previously in the previous chapter: *Abraham swore it the name of the Lord (the explicit name) when facing the king of Sodom, and refused to take what isn't his, other than food for his people.*
*That it why he was given charity from God.*
Your translations regarding genesis 15 are inaccurate. The Hebrew means this : *and he believed in God and he considered it a charity from Him.* (Abraham considered it a charity from God, after God had promised him an heir and that he will have many descendants).
Abraham was not given these blessing by faith alone, he proved to God he was worthy, and he considered that a charity from God, and not the other way around.

Faith is proven through action. If there is no action, then "faith" is merely lip service.

Two questions that will settle everything - Truth is simple. Answer with a yes or a no please, no apologetics:
      1. Is Jesus worshiped by christians (taking communion)?
      2. Was Jesus worshiped by any of the forefathers?
      Yes or no. Nothing more.

@@pazrahamim9220 I don't answer questions by command from another human. I answer in my own words. True worship is done by action unto obedience to the Lord. That's the answer to your first question.
Your second question, Jesus IS God. There are many appearances that Jesus made to the Old Testament saints. In the fiery furnace with the 3 Hebrews....I can't spell their names...🤣😂🤣, the Angel of the Lord wrestling with Jacob, with Abraham before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. So yes, they did worship the Son of God when He appeared to them.

@@pazrahamim9220 I'm not going to play your game. Of course the name "Jesus" doesn't appear in the Old Testament. Nor does it appear in the New Testament for that matter. The name of the Son of God is Yeshua...not "Jesus." However, "Jesus" is a derivative of Yeshua and is commonly accepted as His name in the English speaking world. Some in other parts of the world call Him Yesu, others Yeshu. So, what's your point? Yes, Abraham worshipped the Angel of the Lord who came to him and told him of Sodom and Gomorrah's impendending destruction. Abraham bowed at the feet of Melchizedek and gave him a tenth of the spoils. Many theologians believe Melchizedek was "Jesus." Im not sure of this but their arguements are strong. Moses took off his shoes and bowed in worship to the voice coming out of the burning bush. And the Apostle John said "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word is God. So, since Christ was with God in the beginning, it stands to reason that He was worshipped along with Yahweh...Jehovah...the Elohim. Don't ask me to explain the trinity or how the trinity works. I cannot. Yes, there is the Heavenly Father, Yahweh. Yes, there is the Son of God, Yeshua, "Jesus" or Yesu. And yes there is the Holy Spirit. Three in One. How are they three in One? I have no idea. But I do know this...one day I will see Him as He is. Then I will begin to understand.

People in the audience (congregation) makes it distracting for any pastor to speak while doing his sermon unless he’s ask a question. If I can hear it by watching tv or TH-cam an it’s distracting, then I know it’s distracting for the pastor. Be respectful while you’re in church! Don’t yell out! It’s not going to gaurentee you’ll be on tv. Jus sayin!
