Ml and AI are all about systems identification. Once we identify a system, by any method available now or in the future, then we are able to control and predict the behaviour of the system.
Very nice presentation and very enjoyable to watch.
Thank you so much Prof Braunton.

Could you please, highlight in any future video as a sequel to this video, what optimization techniques are used in MPC?
As far as I am able to understand, it could be any optimization technique based on Linear Programming, Quadratic Programming, or even nature-inspired optimization techniques like Genetic Algorithm, PSO, Differential Evolution, etc.

He's using what is called a "Lightboard", basically an illuminated glass pane that is then filmed. The image is either flipped after recording or the camera points at a mirror angled at 45° which means the captured image is already flipped.

Hi Steve, for various flying vehicles (quad rotors, UAVs) that have 6 DoF, there are mostly 12 ODEs and hence 12 states of interests and not millions of states.

What does he mean by ' physics is all about finding a good coordinates system '

    • @omaraissani6255

For instance, when modeling a pendulum. The ideal choice of the generalized coordinates is the angular position of the pendulum rather than the coordinates x and y of the CoM.
