Hello from Germany from someone working at Bosch (not PowerTools though, in the automotive part). Thank you for all of your great reviews, really helped me decide which Leatherman to get for my new EDC (I got the surge). Previously I've used an OG PST Leatherman from 1987 my dad gave me, he got it in the US Army while stationed in Germany. I'll clean that one up and put it into my collector's items display now. Cheers mate!
Actually I'm still waiting on it, should arrive this week. I've had it personalised through their custom shop, so it took like two weeks to get shipped. I'll get back to you when I've had time to play around with it! Keep up the great work!
Awesome, just picked this up at Lowes.I didn't realize the real time or lower icon was the level of the Bosch. I'm the worst at reading instructions and appreciate good videos. Not sure if you're into IR cameras, I did vibration analysis and thermography part of maintenance program, but for $500-$800 you can buy a FLIR IR camera which is great for checking insulation, temperature differences. It can save you a lot of money. Basically white us the hottest temperature and you can set the color palate. Thanks for posting.

Hello, they should make the sides magnetic for leveling pipe and such. Maybe it will mess with the computer though 🤷♂️
I don't know, but I like your thinking.
