If you're really and I mean really good at a class like swipez with spy or b4nny with scout, you're going to be very good with the other 8 classes. Except medic, fuck medic, being a medic main is like playing a 3d bullet hell game.
I usually dont go pyro until the spy starts feeling them self. Its funny seeing them go from backstabbing the entire team to being airblasted in a corner lmao
shotgun pyro is objectively better than flares, but it's so much less flashy and exciting. once you start going for those flare punches on enemy pyros/darwins snipers, or double airblasting people to the skybox just so you can go for a long-distance flare combo, that's when the class really opens up.
Dragon’s fury makes pyro so much more fun My favorite loadout is DF, Detnator, and Backscratcher or Powerjack Really good for flanking and DF is so good and actually takes a good amount of skill to use
