Talking about using "light-lines" is always educational. Many folks just wanna spool up w/ the heaviest test their reel can handle & a few will put more than the reel is rated for but for me I've always opted for as light of a line as I can land fish with? I believe I can catch more doing this but w/ that lighter line you've got to have a rod that can take up the slack, so to say. Great video. peace
Hey Lawless, I know exactly the need for a leg up on the side for leverage…and what a kick tail amount of work it is hauling those donkeys up, yup! Great one brother
Awesome video brother. i love how you can use artificial and catch lot of different species. it’s truly a beautiful thing. keep it up man love the videos
You guys need a descending device. It looks like all of your fish survived but I believe you are required to at least have one on board. They think we are killing the returned ARS by not using the devices.
What brand and model boat? I so want to move to the Destin/Niceville area. Lived there back in the 80’s and always had a blast!! Fishing the bays, bayou’s and gulf is un beatable.
Saw in another video that your gonna get a boat. What you getting? I’m thinking about getting a key west 239 fs. I’m wanting a rig for offshore plus family oriented what’s your thoughts on the 239? Love your video’s!!!@@TheLawlessTide
@@robertosborne2087 i honestly can't give you good feedback on that because this is my first saltwater boat. But from all the advice i have gotten 23 foot is the smallest you wanna go for an offshore boat.
@@TheLawlessTide well brother bought a 26 well raft and him and family do off shore fishing graham from shrimpers to went out he said he has met you . I’m taking notes and now sending them to my brother
You fisherman fouled your captain. You're supposed to ask before you ever throw something back over. You are full on over the water when you started asking
How do you know venting the fish it doesn't die? If commercial fishing catches it they are allowed to keep it n I just got a feeling when there eyes pop out they die they should let you keep it if it's dead ashame the sharks just get to eat it n it's like the powers that be know this,n targeting species you will always catch the ones that are out of season it's like there rules are done on purpose knowing they are responsible for the decline in fish population and it's always commercial fishing that benefits n it never tastes the same if you don't catch it yourself I'm sick of these scientists that think they know everything about fish but by them making all these restrictions the sharks are very well read n over populated it's a messed up situation
That was a insane jig bite
Ohhh man feels like Grouper. ...naaaaa, oh man feels like a grouper.........naaa a tile fish😂
Great fishing. Hope you have a release device to send the non cooler fish back to the bottom safely.
We properly vent the fish before releasing per requirement of FWC regulations.

All in all a good day on the big water congratulations on the PB💪

A venting tool fulfills the requirement. Florida regulations state that word for word.
