At the young age of 55 I paddled the Allagash solo. Our journey started out different. This being my first time I paddled from the thoroughfare to telos dam the first night. Started at 4:30 pm. Fly fished below the dam and then paddled to Gravel beach. Stayed the night . Traversed Chamberlain to Eagle and the trains and on to pump handle in one day. The next day on to Churchill dam. Day after on to Umsaskis and the Beach camp. Met several great people along the way. Still to this day that trip is one of my fondest memories! Many of your video portions gave me a smile , singing a sea shanty while paddling, for me it was Cat Stevens miles from nowhere, many days I was the only one on the water. The paddle spins after the rapids below Churchill dam . Looks like your group had a great time as well!
