My sister has mental health issues. I've been telling her about the mental health issues that are sometimes corrected with the proper human diet. Low carb is the way to go! Keto has gotten me off of blood pressure and type 2 meds. Lost 56 lbs since Sept 22. Have about 70 more to go. I didn't realize how sick I was, until I felt better. I'm feeling 25. I'm 57. It's great!

August 2021 I was well over 550 pounds ''at my worse I was over 650lbs". Since then I went strict carnivore for about 8 months and the last 8 I have been strict lion diet. I now weigh in around 225lbs, able to run/sprint do crossfit, walk however long I want with no pain. Eczema, lymphedema, hypertension, arthritis in my knee and ankles, leaky gut, fatty liver, chronic kidney failure, daily blood in my stool from internal hemorrhoids ARE COMPLETELY GONE!
My mental illnesses are a hell of a lot better than ever in my whole life. And I now know I was bloated my whole entire life and didn't know what it was to not be bloated.
Thank you Neisha & Dr. Ken D Berry, Dr. Baker, Dr. Ekberg, Dr Peterson/ daughter Mikhayla- for giving me the tools to save my life.
    Truly forever grateful-
Honorable mentions: Steak and Butter Gal, Laura Spath & Ferrigno Freedom!

Wow, one of the most powerful carnivore success stories I've seen. I've wondered if a carnivore lifestyle could help someone with addiction disorders, and it has definitely benefitted Leanne. I'm so happy for her success and I'm confident she will continue to see improvements. She not only healed herself, but she also broke the yoke for her future generations. Well done! 👏👏👏

It's not cheap. But, the "SPEC" SCAN'S are tremendously revealing of what is going on emotionally and nerologically in your brain. Do a "TH-cam" research on Dr. Daniel Amen's work with "SPEC" Scans.

Stuck with it this last time and after a month or so one day I got most incredible anxiety relief like she claimed. Happens to me every time now where an unbelievable calm comes over me after a finishing a few sets. Never had anything work that well for me before for anxiety. It's incredible how good makes me feel. Something I want to do now daily.

I've been on carnivore for 16 months, a licensed addiction counselor for over 3 decades and I can second everything thing she said about the carnivore diet and the healing of trauma. I never expected this diet to be capable of healing trauma. Leanne is so ahead on this healing journey and it's obvious to me that she is on a mission! She's nothing short of a miracle!

Great to hear your story Leigh Ann. My diet was 80 - 90% vegetarian from my 20's as I believed that was good for us. After Bowel Cancer in 2012 I was very strict for years again but had eaten meat occasionally over the past few years while looking after my sick elderly mother who suffered bowel & thyroid problems half her life.
It gets very confusing reading about the various diets to hopefully stop these seizures I have around the end of every month, which was around when my hormones changed, I am now 60. The seizures first started at two a year in 2005 after numerous blow's to my temporal lobe in 2004 caused from DV. I stopped Epilim suddenly in 2007 because of the terrible s/e, the seizures then went from 2 a year to around 22 - 24 a year (1-5 every month, in clusters over a few days). I then tried various other meds for years that did not help so decided to stop all meds in 2012.
In June 2022 I had a bad fall & was taken to Emergency so I stopped all alcohol & sugar from that day. I thought I would look into the Keto Diet which I thought was only for children but thought I might try it anyway. No Dr has ever mentioned it to me and I was shocked at how much I have found on the net about diets to stop or help seizures for adults as well as children. The Specialists have been trying to get me onto Keppra again which I have refused and have been researching ever since. I have found info from lots of great Drs like Dr Baker Chris Palmer, Ken Berry, Andrew Chaffee, Paul Mason & many more.
I saw a Naturopath in Sept 22 for help me start the "Keto Diet" but instead she started me on a 'Low Carb diet' for 3 months with meat, lots more veggies, vitamins, herbs & a daily Whey Protein shake with Almond & Coconut milk for extra protein which unfortunately did not help. I decided to stop all veggies & fruit on 17/12/22, I am back to around 47kg from about 57kg which I put on eating ice cream after trying cannabis to stop seizures & stress which did not help. I was around 47 - 50kg most of my life but hair loss has also been a problem again when I stopped all meat & veg which I get when I have any stress, although it has slowed a little again.
I am on red meat, lamb, bacon, eggs, seafood & water, I only stopped tea & coffee & the occasional wine 1 month ago as the seizures had not slowed. I had one seizure last month when I normally have around 5 or 6 in clusters over about 1 week. I am still not too sure about the diet yet it is taking a while to understand how to get enough fat, and whether to take MCT oil to substitute the fat like I am presently doing. You mention greens but I thought they were BAD?

    • @HealingLeigh23
      @HealingLeigh23 ปีที่แล้ว

I was unsure about greens, but after reading more into it, I decided against them. I am navigating the MTHFR mutation now.
I’m so happy to hear about your relief with seizures! I would continue researching and reading as much as you can. I constantly do the same. Here if you ever want to chat!❤️

Also fat is important for the brain. I too wish you all the best. The fact that you can just stare is all your body and brain can cope with atm. It’s shutting all of the non essential things down so it can start to heal and rebuild. Anything else is too much. Even sound was like needles going into me. My nerves were totally shot and I have severe reynauds as a result. You will get better though. Try not to stress about it as that will make it worse. After childbirth the very best, vitamins, minerals and the precice hormones loaded meat for the new mother are found in the afterbirth. Every single animal that gives birth, eats the afterbirth, yet for human birth this is taboo. Why? Because it give a woman strength, stemina, lots of breast milk, and a bonding feelings toward her newborn. Can't have that! I saved my daughter-in-law from a blood transfusion. She was in very bad shape. The smoothies I made for her worked like magic. The doctors were so confused when they saw her improvement with a few hours. She was released the next day. Now she is the biggest advocate for consuming the afterbirth. She said to a new mother there is nothing more desirable and delicious!

The airlines have yet to offer any carnivore meals, altho I see diabetic as a choice, which have lower glycemic ingredients. I've done three very long flights in the last two months, and each time I just picked out bits of meat and left all the starchy veg, bread and sugar crap. On the last flight, I'd managed to bring some pork belly on board, so the couple sitting next to me, who chose the veggie options, were probably horrified to see me gnawing on pork bones.

How kind of you. You show such a compassion and empathy for our fellow humans. Truly Commendable. You should be proud of yourself.
