My favourite piece of jewelry is studded earrings I bought last fall~ local made with rose gold stud and a quartz type gem on it. Its so shiny and had flecks of pink, blues~ Simple but pretty.

Thanks, Cheryl! The slip stitch/half double crochet combination does stretch a good amount, the technique used should be able to work for most body shapes. 😊
If I double the waist band and folded it over, do you think I could successfully fold it over and stitch it together around an elastic band? this is in place of the draw string.
