I like how every song on this album is different. they're unique and you can totally tell they did a good job of messing around and experimenting with the songs
Shanice Harding this is what happens when a band knows what good change is, not just dumbing down their sound to completely alienate half their fanbase but atract new ones.
+Starling I don't hear any Dear Hunter in this song... I did hear some in a couple of the previous songs.. But this one is much to high bpm and the time signature is unlike any DH song I have heard.. Any particular song you think this is similar to?
+Starling I don't mean to argue or anything, I am just coming from a perspective in which I have been listening to only The Dear Hunter for the past 2 months.. Every album they have released I have been playing on repeat while I work, and Act IV I have listened to at least 15 times from start to finish. I just don't see any similarities between this song and any of their work.
It's a good song. Creative to say the least. What I don't like however, is the fact that they wrote a song based on hate towards a particular media. How hard is it to keep this song outside of drama?
I The Mighty is post-hardcore, which is short for post-hardcore punk rock. punk is historically liberal, and Fox News is conservative news/media. there are plenty of songs that do this in the alternative rock scene, it’s really not surprising

Shanice Harding Its called "talent".. I the Mighty is one of the most, if not the most, talented bands out today
This is number one on my list of under appreciated songs, both versions of this song are great.
Spotify didnt specify that the version it gave me was the softer, oil in water version
Normal Guy right? Didn’t even know this existed until I looked for a music video
Surely you mean "The better"
love that there are 2 versions, absolutely love both!
I love that I can choose for when I'm feeling edgy or when I'm feeling saucy

Why does this have such strong anime opening vibes? And why is it such a bop?

My fave from this album is this and psycomacia

What a wonderful band!
0:15 is Brent's amazing singing at its finest
The jazzy one is the best. My god I can't not song this song when that one comes on. This version is good too, no where near the other tho.
I love this band so much but I need more. Anyone know more bands similar to them?
hail the sun, tides of man, circa survive
You will love Hands Like Houses
Sounds of Animals Fighting
Zexlyn dance Gavin dance. Royal coda
this one reminds me a little of the dear hunter. but i the mighty-ified.

they sometimes sound like the dear hunter and sometimes like dashboard confessional. its crazy
I love it
Totally different and totally unique :D
I found the jazz version first than this, I think both are equally good. It all depends on individual taste. But I can't lie, this is no less catchy

Shoutout to Cube Tortoise for showing me this song.

Is it weird that I'm here because I heard it in someing on RedGifs?

I the Mighty have political songs on every one of their albums, it's kind of their thing. Cutting Room Floor, Quick Fix, even Adrift to an extent
@@Toad_Man well that's kind of the point of music yes... It's their band they do whatever the fuck they want

Does any one know the meaning to this song????
