LOL... Nutting is so tight players probably have to buy their food out of vending machines... like they say in the film Moneyball: "Keep the money on the field" hahaaaa
What a great way to treat players, and what a great professional they have in this Chef. How I'd love to spend just one day taking in the four meals Chef prepares for the guys... and watching the care and attention Chef obviously puts into supporting the group.
I grew up in Pittsburgh and played hockey, was familiar with the Penguins organization and remember when their post-game meal was pizza and beer, the times have really changed!

Ok..the strip steaks and lobster post practice meal???. I’m 70, but wonder if it’s too late for me to sign with The Penguins? Also I don’t really know how to skate, but I’m gonna learn…right now. The post game sushi works nicely for me too!
Pretty sure the support staff is well payed so they dont have to rely on tips. Besides it doesnt look like they serve anyone at their table or anything like that.
If you didn't have public schools teachers would not only get paid more but they could get things like this. Unfortunately many of them indoctrinate students with lies.
If I'm doing a high-intensity workout, I can't eat much more than a smoothie and a salad or I'll cramp up. I can't believe the players eat all of this and then go out and skate for 60 minutes.
2:09 "we dont really change up the menu that much except for the postgame meal." Dumoulin- "They change up the menu a lot"
Think he means on game days, guess they switch it up more on non game days
@ryan miller thats what i said
On game days he said
Strip steak and lobster tails after practice. Exactly what I ate after high school basketball practice. 😂😂😂
What school you going to? And did they provide that
Man, the only thing that would make this better would be if the players had teeth to eat all of this food with. Great stuff.
Haha.
And they invited others because with inclusion all should be invited!! LETS GO BRANDON!!!

Pb&J?
PP & J clearly mens peanuts, pumpernickle and jam. What's so confusing?
As a chef and lifelong hockeyfan, this is a dream job!
LOL!!! NO, it is not. It is a glorified line cook with access to good products.

This is so cool. I want lunch at work too, and breakfast.
Amazing what goes into it
Hi Trav! I watch all of your vids!
As an NHL fan I found this VERY interesting. Thanks
Y’all should do a series of him demoing how to cook different healthy meals. I’d watch it.
That’s awesome to have support staff at table level. Good on the pengs organization
I like watching the behind the scenes videos. Do a workout one next.
Cool story and video... Glad the Chefs can help the team in such a special way!
Top class organisation! I'm so happy to be a fan of the Penguins!
How times have changed. This didn’t age well
How come?

Thank you so much to make sure our amazing team eats well 🥳
Thanks TH-cam algorithm! I like food and hockey, so yeah -- makes total sense.
Very cool! I would think that individual players would have private chefs but not the team. Go Penguins!!!!!
Wait...where’s the hot dog station for Kessel?!
Damn pretty sweet gig dude!!!!! Keeping the boys fed!!!
They're makein me hungry!!! Any leftovers?😃 And LOBSTER??? DAMN!!!!
"organic salmon", Cool expression...
Man it must be cool not having to worry about making dinner

Did any of the players take an interest in what you do and drop by to observe and learn from you on their off day?
I think that is the best price of being NHLér.
Does the culinary team cook food at home to? I would not want to after cooking all day for others
Thats the life of a chef
My chef was trained at Hyde Park, I wonder where this guy learned his trade.

does phil the thrill kessel burgers if he asks ?
These guys.
Surprised they don't get wild salmon
JMac I would take 2 Lobster tails as well!!!!!
It is incredible to see the difference between SEC Football and NHL.
The NHL is bush league...in all aspects: Kitchen to athletes.
I wonder what they did in the early days
Where's omelet guy?
With the war chest of money why not wild pacific salmon? Better flavors and health then the frankin fish
I didn’t even know this was a thing….
Dear god I wish that was me
I wanna eat like a Penguin
LOL at being forced to serve same pre-game menu all season long because of superstiscious and/or routine-loving playsrs
You obviously don't know hockey.
Do every team get this treatment
ya lol
He’s a great chef but I almost turned it off when he took the skin off that salmon! Bacon of the sea
Those steaks looked so overcooked that they could be used as pucks.
no more omelette guy
Wish I was a pro athlete
Hate the pens but appreciate the video nonetheless.
