Attempting DBD's Most Difficult Challenge! | Solo Hardcore Ep. 1

- Welcome to the Solo Hardcore Survivor Challenge Episode 1!
Rules - If a Character dies… they die PERMANENTLY and can no longer be played, if I run out of Characters the Challenge is OVER, I am allowed to switch Characters whenever I want, BUT all of the points earned on a Character MUST be spent on that Character, if a Character is lost due to uncontrollable circumstances then the game is Nullified, for example: the Killer is Hacking, teammates are teaming with the Killer to get me Killed, the Killer is Lag Switching (a.k.a Teleporting) to the point where it is physically IMPOSSIBLE to do anything against. I am allowed to search Chests for an item and as long as I Survive with that item I can bring it into the next match, I am also allowed to bring offerings that I earn by levelling the Blood Web. To make the Challenge even harder this year when a Character dies their Teachable Perks die with them, which means I have to be super careful later on, I really hope you guys enjoy!

This year is going to be a lot harder than last, people have gotten so much better at the game, and solo queue has never been as bad as it is now. It’s time to really lock in, this Episode is super intense and it doesn’t stop there, I hope you guys enjoy this years Hardcore as much as last years! ❤

People really don't understand that if we just spread pressure evenly amongst ourselves, we can win most matches look at the HUD. If you are hiding from all chases taking it down is a big deal.

mmr be like, you, as a fresh account, escaped twice. we will now match you with a 500hr killer while your teammates add up to 20 hrs max.

I mean he is supposedly a brand-new player that managed to escape multiple games without even being hooked once. If anything, it shows that the mmr system works if it started to pair him with decent killers pretty fast.
As a survivor main, I recently started playing as killer more and I'm having that exact problem. Dbd thinks because I won a few matches against new survivors who clearly had no idea what they were doing that I must be ready to go up against very experienced players 😭
The only thing that influences mmr is escapes. So it shouldnt have raised that fast@@shadysorkin9214

The final match really demonstrates how flawed the mmr system is. The fact that claudette's bot did more stuff than the actual team is bewildering
final match shows more how toxic the new mori system is tbh. slugging 2nd to last surv to 'guarantee' the mori is just sad. at least claud was a bot not a real person laying there
Bot skills isn't overly consistent. Had one where he fast hopped into & out of lockers until hooked. I had spray him to remove infection. Then ran off and hid in a locker near shack. Yeah we were getting smashed at 5 gens. But having someone kill themselves on hook isn't good reason for the bot to fold.

I wish they would have completely left base-kit cypress out of the game and on top of that change every single mori to just give bonus blood points for EVERY single mori you perform during a game, but the mori offerings themselves do not give you the ability to mori anymore, because for an offering they should never affect gameplay in such a meaningful way imo.

I got an exact match like that once and on top of that she was my obsession, we only needed to both try getting adept for it to be perfect

Fun fact during that match the Ace who fed Myers was called "ChytryZbychu" in Polish "Chytry" means tricksy and "Zbychu" is just a name. I laughed so fucking loud when I saw his name and realized that he was trolling 😂

Yeah it's like literal 5 year Olds playing. I would've just purely played for escape points. Teammates at that MMR are literally useless

@juanmii616 some of them had a full load out of purple. That amount of time should tell you not to stand still at least
That Typhox Meg was literally useless... From the start of the game, the other two Megs did gens while she just stood there. Skypie did gens even when wounded, meanwhile Typhox did literally nothing the whole game even when full health. Yet somehow got found and hooked twice. I don't even understand how. Did he find her despite her never doing anything because she constantly had crows ?
It doesn't matter how new you are at a game, you at least TRY to play it. You read what the objectives are, go around, explore, and learn by trying and doing stuff. You don't just stand still in corners and do nothing...

These matches were phisically painful to watch. You looped for hours but the teammates are still so clueless about the game that they couldn't get any value from it and do gens. I could feel your urge and growing panic to survive and were hella anxious as well LMAO
Edit: isn't it weird how, after 9 or so matches, you were already facing P100 vecna but with potatos as teammates? The pairing made no sense at all

That's the worst part of the queues. You will often face killers on the same level as you yet the teammates are completely useless. It's like all your teammates are constantly high AND wasted. It's just the weirdest thing.
I sometimes end up with goated survivors (aka survivors who simply do something) but it's so incredibly rare.
It’s almost like it’s a new account that had won 8-9 games straight… the game is trying to calibrate the account into the correct MMR. The game doesn’t take into consideration hardcore solo survivor challenges where the goal is not to die. Everyone is meant to die at some point, even the best survivors will die in let’s say 5% of their games.
@@climer337 40% escape rate in high MMR so it's about 60% of the time (according to the Devs)

That ace in the second game aggrivates me he got all his teammates killed
This makes the start of hardcore survivor scary even when you are in low mmr at start since you don’t have reliable teammates so every match is nail biting

I once got into a match against a friend by pure luck. Unfortunately for me I got absolutely destroyed because my friend knew my exact play style and obliterated me.
@@Meadjuice don't need to, ace could steam message myers during the game and invite them to hop on a call or just text them of ayrun's location
Thrilling! I think one of the conceptual things I dig most about these sort of Hardcores, is how it makes the scores, points, and perk leveling actually matter in the gameplay. Like, these are intrinsic elements in DBD that don't actually affect the gameplay beyond your first time playing, and it just feels like such a missed opportunity.
Your videos has actually made me wanna start playing dbd again, I stopped months ago because it got boring, and also because I switched from console to PC, but after watching you cook so easily, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try playing on PC. Basically this comment is saying good job!
IMO I think playing on pc is easier than console, you have more control of your camera and everything. But also just depends on the player too. Hope you have fun and better games!

@@LoveCritty I don't know how it feels to move with a controller, I can attest to camera control being exponentially better, but I wonder if ps5 players get a slight advantage on how tightly they can hug loops without losing momentum or getting caught. Obviously yea, with enough skill you can replicate that 360 control of movement, but I imagine it's just easier when you can move directions in between than "forward", "forward right", "right" etc. with direct control

bruh its been so long since the prestige change and we've had so many events where you can stack to like 700%+ bloodpoints that its in no way indicative of cheating or buying an account. at this point if you're not on multiple p100s it just means you play less than even most casual players

Screams always reveal you! I can't think of a single scream perk that doesn't give the killer some sort of notification. That said, you played so well. It's such a shame you teammates didn't capitalise on all the time you bought them

This had some real intense moments. This is my fav DBD series hands down on TH-cam. You almost sold the match hard af vaulting into shack when you could CLEARLY see the red stain of the killer coming back. Idk how you were able to pop back out without the vecna hitting you. 😭 You deserved to lose right then and there.
