Paladin Order hall campaign but every time they say Light it gets lighter and 5% faster.
You forgot to finish the title " The story of the Paladin and second half of the Priest Order Hall Campaign."
Six years old but this video saved me when I thought the quest line had gone dead. Thank you for taking the time to make!!
I have a couple of theories on why a Lorthraxxion exists as he is..
One of them is the Twisting Nether being stated as the result of Light and Void colliding violently, which means that all Fel creatures should have a certain amount of Light or Void left within them; the former which could be amplified to, in a sense, purify and redeem demons into beings of light. Could you imagine a holy Pit Lord? Holy Shivarra? Holy watchers and imps? Fascinating
The second is that the Nathrezim, the Dreadlords, weren't born demons, rather they joined the Legion and were transformed into demons just like the Eredar were. There is even a mentionin the Illidan novel of their homeplanet: Nathreza. If that were true, then ther'd also be rebel Nathrezim who refused the fel and adopted the LIght instead. I sepculate our friend here is the only one of those rebels left.
These two theories can go hand -to-hand with each other. But it's just my speculation

There is that alchemy quest (I think alchemy, it is a profession quest) where a satyr is able to cleanse itself of the demon inside it and is able to return to its former night elf state. If that can happen then maybe the Nathrezim can also cleanse themselves from their demonic force inside them. Or they can change like a Naaru can (light to shadow back to light etc) although it is highly rare for that to happen.
I think it's more a matter of Demons also being "living beings" like the creatures of the material world. With the added bonus of only being able to die on their homeworlds. And just like any other living being, Demons can wield any magic they chooses, but the majority has chosen Fel, or Void.
Those are some nice theories actually, I'm still hate the story and lore changes over all due to Legion, but It's a nice story nonetheless so far.
Remember Tirion as the great man he was.
As I will always remember him as the one who crowned the Lich King.

Arcane mages took our artifact quest, we have to clean up an old god minion warriors didn't bother disposing of, and paladins made us their bitch in our order hall campaign and stole one of our priests. Yep, good to be a priest this expansion, I feel appreciated.

You forgot about Velen turning bitch. You are also looking at this the wrong way. The priests are probably the strongest force out there since they tap into both light and shadow. So it would make sense for the legion to try to take out their strongest threat first. It is a compliment not an insult.

I love that we Paladins managed to steal away one of the Priests. Night Elf Paladins are a cool idea, but snatching another classes' ally is even cooler ;)

Also if netherlight temple is in the nether.. and since demons can't die unless killed in the nether does that mean Balnazzar is actually dead?

Summing up the Paladin campaign: your champions get into trouble and you have to save them constantly
I wonder if Lothraxion used to be part of the Legion and sought redemption. I think this because of this satyr who did the same thing and Elune turned him back into a night elf:

There is also that Satyr during a alchemy quest that is turned back into a night elf when he taps into the well in Azsuna. My guess is that since the Nathrezim were born of the twisting nether and are demons they can be cleansed or change from light to shadow similar to a Naaru. Or something along those lines.

The story of Rakeesh & Velen is by far one of my favorite stories in WoW. So heartbreaking, this is peek WoW writing!
You know what I realized while listening to this video? It occurred to me suddenly that the Alliance/Horde conflict is actually kinda thematically important. Like, the heroes of Azeroth are constantly fighting against the Legion or the Old Gods/Void but the problem with this (from a conceptual standpoint) is that such wars carry no semblance to reality. In fact, it actually has the chance to redeem acts of violence. The Alliance/Horde conflict is one of sentient creatures clashing with one another and yes, it's tragic and pointless but seeing such things in popular media is important because it shows us that real people - living, breathing entities - are annihilating one another. It sheds light on the true nature of violence which is the destruction of our fellow beings. When we see the heroes battling against immoral entities like the Legion, it essentially makes violence seem more okay because we're fighting against creatures that pretty much feel nothing. In truth however, I think it's important for people to remember that every act of violence is committed against someone who is just like you - someone with an entire emotional spectrum just like your own.
I don't know, just kinda suddenly felt like it was important for enterprises (be it games, film or television) depicting war to do so in a manner that shows the true nature of violence and destruction.

you got it backasswards, the dreadlords are the ones of their race that went to the other side. lothraxion is just the only known surviving that refused to submit to the corruption, and also escaped the hunt the dreadlords did on the few remnants that rejected the offer.

The paladin order hall campaign is my favorite. I hope we get to meet Turalyon and know more about Lothraxion in the next part. Delas Moonfang opens up the possibility of night elf paladins in the future. Since we have tauren sunwalkers, I'm sure night elves could also do it.

nah not really. turalyon is the badass.
Of course I want to see Alleria too. She is a legend among my people. But I believe Alleria will be the focus of the next hunter campaign, since marksmanship hunters have her bow. My guess is the Silver Hand and the Unseen Path will work together to save Alleria and Turalyon from the Legion.

Prince Stormstrider No she isn't for your people not anymore! She is the hero among my people the Quel'dorei not the Sin'dorei. They already forgot about her because they are to busy being the pretty toy of the Horde. At least my people still worship her since they made a statue in her honor and they didn't forget about her sacrifice after she was lost beyond the Dark Portal.

Tirion Fordring Nehterlight Temple is within the Twisting Nether. That's why the Legion couldn't find it they never expected to find their enemies secret base deep within their own territory.

Nobbel I don't know if you have this planned but it would be amazing to see who based off of artifacts, followers, or the order hall, which class leader is the strongest against each other, with warriors having Valkyries and Titan watchers, and the Paladins having a holy nathrazim. Just a thought :), happy Feast of Winterveil!
What I have found on Lothraxxion is, taht he didn't like what his brethren did, being corrupt, killing, and what not, so he searched up The light, throught Turalyon, and they poured holy light into him so he got pure, or something like that.
Breathed in the face with Fel Fire by a huge ass demon, then gets thrown into a lake of Fel Lava... and survives it... but doesn't survive until the paladins' arrival....

Except you forgot about the part where Gul'dan fills his body up with fel. Those mobs did not kill Varian. Also remember he splits his sword in two, something he has not done since he merged (from what I remember).
He was taken down and brought before Gul'dan. The only reason they let him live until Gul'dan disintegrated him is they were ordered to do so.
Naru So he was far from one shot. If he was still alive with enough energy to be brought before Gul'dan in his one shot condition, that means he was far from one shot. There were 2 attackers on him not just one. Plus I still like to think that by him splitting his swords in two has a deeper meaning than anyone is giving it.
Didn't Varian spilt his Sword in the Cinematic too ? (Well idk if that is considered cannon or something, pls correct me if im wrong)
This all sorts of raises more questions than answers lol it was a fun campaign class hall order thing to do though

I didn't play during Vanilla, but i heard a lot of jokes regarding Paladin doing no damage. "Even a rabbit would enrage against a pally." :D
Yeah ,just like shamans in vanilla for totems, paladins was just for auras and blesings...oh and there was no spec other than holy pally or resto shamans(i mean there was but for you to have a chance to get in a guild there was no choise ...just like no kitty druids)

Rogues was good(could beat allmost all classes with no particular good gear) ,was just about stun lock you and get that backstab dmg from behind ,warriors were bad til you get to lvl 40 and go on plate armour and then you can beat rogues (demorlizing roar and disarming him,also if you where prot warr you could literaly let your caracter and comeback 10 min afther and rogue still cant kill you...but was about what gear you have,most wariors plays in bg was with a mace(who has stun on proc) to get that stun bonus chance from talents and with a windfurry totem from a shaman.)You will hit hard as a warr but mages and priest or warocks beat the crap out of you...you had only 2 gap closing (charge before you get in combat and berseker stance intercept,so you will get kited as fuk).
I can't wait for the mage order hall campaign video.

Nobbel, that last part in the Exodar happens for every class, however the event ONLY starts once you click the "Teleport to Dalaran" button and initiate the cast, so you need to interrupt it to watch the event.
I predict that Divinius and her group are going to be important soon, like with the Argus patch soon.

I realize that the Naaru have these dimensional ships. It's how Velen and the other Draenei escaped Argus, and eventually came to Azeroth. And yes, we did fight inside one of the ships in Outland dealing with Kael'thas. But...this is getting out of hand.
Make up your mind, Blizzard, are we a fucking epic fantasy, or science fiction? And yes, I am aware of submarines, battle mecha, and all that.
They're trying to blend too much Starcraft into Warcraft.
These things should be few and far between. Not a fucking space fleet invading Azeroth!
And now, here's the other bit. If Kil'Jaeden a fucking battle cruiser to invade Azeroth with, why the fucking hell did he need the Sunwell? Is it because he does't have Azeroth's coordinates or something?

Warcraft has reached ludicrous levels of stupidity!
One, it’s taking a much more cosmic scale, and the demons are ancients of course they have more advanced Magitech. And two, either the fleet didn’t know where Azeroth was or it would have taken a ludicrous amount of time. They may not have many good ways to move the fleet around besides from planet to planet

I'm not playing a Paladin, and to be honest... seeing this campaign is the first time I kind of regret that. It really is a pretty good campaign, although most campaigns are interesting on their own right.
Can't wait to see what will happen next.

Am I the only one who is not a fan of this "Army of the Light" concept. The lore used to be so grounded in the sense that the conflicts were on Azeroth but now we have this intergalactic army, flying around on spaceships.. It is just all so sudden.

I love how nobundo has actual armor in the invasion of exodar but when he is in the shaman order hall or a body guard he is just chilling with some shitty cloth
I say this now because this might have been said somewhere else: we will go through the nether, and since time moves differently from Azeroth, we would be gone for so much time that the Old Gods escape.

I know Rakeesh used the same voice actor as Garrosh (Patrick Seitz), but...he didn't even TRY to make him not sound like Garrosh. I know he also did the voice of Arthas, but at least with Arthas he tried to make the voice sound different. Rakeesh sounds EXACTLY like Garrosh to the point where it's immersion breaking.

I must say i was so disapointed with the priest/paladins orderhall questline, It felt like they where just trying to save time and money, so they recyclet some of the quest's. I would really have loved that the paladins would had their own end mission, like save the vessel of light or something like that.

Do others actually see Lothraxian?
You free him, he disappears, then when he comes to your aid nobody, not even Balnazzar, acknowledges his presence or why he looks like a demon. Nor does anyone refer to him afterwards. It feels to me like he is a personification of the Light that only you can see, and has a demon-like body because it reflected images of your mind when it first appeared to you.
Who is Balnazaar fighting against then? You can clearly see him facing Lothraxian and swinging at his direction. The player is behind Balnazaar not in front so you can not say it was the player. I guess Balnazaar went mad and is seeing things too. Or he is bart simpson and is swinging wildly hoping to hit anything.

Bindair Dundat Right but you said Balnazaar does not achknowledge Lothraxion but he clearly does if he is fighting him personally. I personally think he was cleansed of the fel/demonic taint by Turalyon, if you notice Lothraxion calls Turalyon a Exarch. And we know from legion as well as past quests etc that you can purify someone so that they no longer have the demonic presence in them.
dreadlords were not always what they are, they were originally like lothraxion. the legion conquered their world and the offer was made to serve the legion or die. those who accepted were corrupted and twisted into dreadlords. the rest were hunted down and killed, though it seems that at least 1 survived.
JamesMichaelDoyle Where are you getting this info from? From what has been said about them, when Sargeras found them they were already evil and destroying worlds. The only thing he would have done to them is give them purpose again since he jailed them. Sargeras did not change them into dreadlords or corrupt them if anything you could say that they aided in Sargeras' downfall.
It would have been interesting if not impractical if they could have allowed a priest and paladin to group up for the battle in netherlight temple
I'm so sad we didn't get to see how Legion started to invade Exodar... I mean, just imagine Legion coming into the Vault of Lights and seeing the holographic versions of themselves... :D

I think that like loramus there is a spirit trapped in that dread lord but it is turalyon so his power of the light has fully uncorrupted that dread lord and has fully taken over it
Please do the Warlock Campaign video next :D I completed it but have no clue what the "greater story" of it is :/ Like it seemed that the Warlocks just "exist" and that there wasn't a tie to the larger story, with the exception of our little involvement into the Illidan story arc.

Why is the Souleater part of the Legion? Since the Souleater is part of the void, doesn't that make it an enemy of the Legion?
@Nobbel87 Nobbel87 i agree with your statement that the quest should be avaiable for every class to know better about the fat of illidan and so on, but if you think bigger, in the whole moment in the history, there ae severous artifact and order hall quests with very singular pieces of information. Of course there are quests (mostly artifact ones) irrelevant and just made up to fill the mechanic, but important events are covered on every class lore, i think. Blizzard looks to be trying to return to some kind of class uniqueness that were important before [but now in the lore - maybe more than in the gameplay and functions, like on the old days]
All those paladins talking about how the light stands together. Then when the priests are in danger: We could get hurt! This could be a trap! Are we really sure we shouldn't just let the priests die? HIghlord, what do you think?
I'm a little disappointed that there is not Tournament as part of the Paladin quest chain.
