    This exhaust made a huge difference in the sound and posture of the bike.

    The stock (Kawasaki Vulcan 650 ABS) exhaust hangs quite low and tends to scrap going over random speed bumps. I scrapped one so hard my headers pipes sprung a leak! I replaced the exhaust gaskets and re-tighten them. After much research, I decided to install a Arrow Rebel exhaust. I live in Thailand where import duties are especially high! The new exhaust expensive (compared to locally fabricated) but definitely worth it!! Thailand is cracking down on illegal, loud exhausts. The Arrow is impressive [deep growl] sounding without exceeding legal limits. I'd advise installing a Booster Plug with any aftermarket exhaust. It almost complete eliminates decompression popping and low RPM throttle jerkiness.

      Very correct! The Rebel Arrow. If I remember correctly is also 15 lbs. or so lighter than the stock exhaust. Bonus!

      The Arrow Rebel exhaust is 40% or 22 lbs lighter!

    Huge improvement over the standard exhaust sound. Fantastic bikes, sure they would have sold twice as many if they did not sound so wimpy as standard. People who want a cruiser want to hear the engine ,look how well Harley market there bikes, why the Japanese don't understand this is beyond me!.

      Yes it did, but to be honest I don’t miss it at all. The Arrow Rebel sounds so much better and gives additional power, makes for less jerkiness when changing gears on the low end, AND better gas mileage. Win, win, win!

    Good upgrade! I think all bikes should have a beefy exhaust sound, as it will help get noticed on the road. Doesn't have to obnoxious, but noticeable. Everything that helps you get noticed can help save your life!

    Hi Tripp,
    Are you still happy with the Arrow exhaust. It sounds good, I would like my exhaust to sound beefer but not to loud. Your exhaust seems to be a good balance. Did your bike perform better after changing the exhaust ?Did you add a Power Commander also?
    Bill S.

    • @trippontwowheels
      @trippontwowheels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bill Snyder Yes, performance did improve slightly when installed with the Booster Plug. They were done at the same time. Mileage went up 2 mpg and the bike now has a more even power band. Acceleration in 1-2-3 gears now much less jumpy and drastically reduced engine braking. All of this did to exhaust and booster plug IN COMBINATION.

    • @trippontwowheels
      @trippontwowheels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Booster Plug, not Power Commander. Love both it and the exhaust. Would do it again 100 times. Has transformed the bike from good to great.

    Hi Tripp,
    Does your Arrow Rebel exhaust have a catalytic converter? Could you give me the name of the dealer you bought it from in Italy? Roughly what did you pay for it on sale .Did it take long to receive it. Last question is what did the dealer charge you for the installation. Thank you for your help. Bill
