I love the contrast in styles. Van-Damme and Chuck Norris get replays or slow motion effects when they do fancy kicks; Seagal gets it when he waddles down a dim sidewalk.
I almost always turn on subtitles, its a crack up to see Sifu subbed as Seafood. I now call him seafood seagal on the regular 🤣 I like to picture him at a seafood buffet running the place out of business with his appetite like Homer Simpson.
As a russian i can say that his name, the way he tries to speak russian and all of that is so bizzare and funny. The music sometimes was some kind of irish sounding as you said and wasn't sounding russian and sometimes it was specific ethnic music from one region of the country (it's like if someone is making movie about US and uses only latin-american music, but even more specific). My bet that is that where funding come from, but it can be just a shot in the dark. Anyway, greetings.

The Aikido diet was a good joke. Have you heard the rumor, which I believe, that the only reason Seagal became a famous movie star was because of a bet? The story goes that one of the most powerful agents in Hollywood was bragging he was so powerful he could make anyone famous and another agent called him on it. The other agent bet him that he couldn't take a boring noncharismatic man and turn him into a movie star and the agent took the bet and said he knew just the guy. The agent took martial arts classes from Seagal and told him he could be an actor and he was so powerful he made it happen. It's probably true because in interviews Seagal said he had no interest in acting but the biggest agent in Hollywood told he should be in movies and set everything up.
This is definitely one of his best later bad movies... He has a couple others that came out within few years that are watchable then they went back to being complete torture...

The reason why the movie is rated so "high"? He runs, he does a half spin, and he gets hit. Typical action movie stuff, but incredibly advanced for Seagal
It occurred to me that if you dub Steven Segal then you can simply reuse his performance in multiple movies. Really you could just use the scenes of Segal walking over and over again, like B-roll footage. Use stunt doubles for the fight and just dubbed closeups of Segal's head for any bits of dialog.
This was comedy gold & as always your hilarious reactions make for such a entertaining channel, the waddle clips had me in hysterics I could've sworn he wasn't dubbed in this one but you proved me wrong & that close up of Seagal it's like the director Keoni Waxman tried get into Seagals mind. Trust me you want see kick ass B Movie action watch Scott Adkins in Undisputed 2,3,4, Ninja 1,2 Close Range, Savage Dog, Seized or Avengement he kicks ass. The only bad movie Scott did is Incoming & he apologised for it.

@@darkzer0670 Sorry, I didn't see the comment. But it was Lancelot. Galahad is the chaste one who had the scene where the woman all wanted to sleep with him. Lancelot came to his "rescue" at the end of that scene, but Lancelot running toward the castle was he murdered the wedding party.
The entire .1 in the 5.1 rating was the movie, the 5 was people amazed at Seagal running in a movie in 2009.
They must have a movie title generator with key words: Hard, Target, Kill, Force, Sniper, Vengeance, Attack, Death, etc.
You could name any Segal movie by picking two words from about a half dozen total: "Kill", "Deadly", "Target", "Siege", "Danger" and...I don't know. Pick another one. Include "to", "and", and whatever as needed. Try it out.

The Aikido diet was a good joke. Have you heard the rumor, which I believe, that the only reason Seagal became a famous movie star was because of a bet? The story goes that one of the most powerful agents in Hollywood was bragging he was so powerful he could make anyone famous and another agent called him on it. The other agent bet him that he couldn't take a boring noncharismatic man and turn him into a movie star and the agent took the bet and said he knew just the guy. The agent took martial arts classes from Seagal and told him he could be an actor and he was so powerful he made it happen. It's probably true because in interviews Seagal said he had no interest in acting but the biggest agent in Hollywood told he should be in movies and set everything up.

This is definitely one of his best later bad movies... He has a couple others that came out within few years that are watchable then they went back to being complete torture...

It occurred to me that if you dub Steven Segal then you can simply reuse his performance in multiple movies. Really you could just use the scenes of Segal walking over and over again, like B-roll footage. Use stunt doubles for the fight and just dubbed closeups of Segal's head for any bits of dialog.

Trust me you want see kick ass B Movie action watch Scott Adkins in Undisputed 2,3,4, Ninja 1,2 Close Range, Savage Dog, Seized or Avengement he kicks ass.
The only bad movie Scott did is Incoming & he apologised for it.
Adkins is going to be in the next John Wick. He has some really killer action flicks, that really make Seagal look like he wasted half his career being lazy.
