Best instruction I’ve seen on TH-cam lily. Simple, clear, concise instruction with no waffle, that’s easy to follow and implement. Your channel is going to explode with tutoring of this quality. All the best Lily.
Thank you! This is exactly what the golf instructor taught my kid the past weekend! My kid is struggling exactly like what you said too - practice swing is ok but go back to outside-in when hitting the actual ball.
Hi Lily. I was waiting for more tips from you and this is the missing link for me 😊. Can't wait to go try out @ the driving range 😁. By the way, is this for the irons and other clubs too? Thanks so much!!
Exactly ! What about a drill for the irons ?? How is it different ?? Pls rep🎉ly !Thanks Lily, I hv yet to try it, but pls tell abt the iron-play also--& I'm sure it'll work !😊
How far do you drop your wrists and arms? Can you drop them the same distance every time? If you're as little as 1/4" off, you've greatly affected the direction and distance of the ball. Too great a variable which is too difficult to control! 29 years as instructor and coach. This is too inconsistent!
I think it is the last 3 fingers of the left hand -- middle, ring, pinkie fingers. And I think I have seen her say this in other videos of hers. Looking forward to working on this, I like her teaching/videos. Really like her swing.
@@Guckuslongus I worry because I already get stuck behind and this would make it worse. It runs the risk of bringing the clubhead down behind the hand line as impact is approached, when the clubhead should be in line with or slightly in front of the hands.
@@Pjkoko this lesson is clearly not for you. You might need work on the opposite to find neutral. But Most golfers, even really good ones do need this lesson. The key to you tube learning, imo, is knowing what you need to learn. If you know that, it’s easy to find videos that help you. That being said she does a great job teaching proper moves that almost anyone can benefit from.
You already repaid me. The golf swing is a very complicated movement and you have helped me understand it better . With your drills and explanations. Thank you so much 😊 Lily

Fantastic teaching, thanks Lily!
Excellent instruction !!!!!! Hi Lily, really the only way to become consistent off the tee. The vertical drop ! Trust the swing. Namaste !
I like! I do believe that this will cure the “ Over the Top “ swing! And explained so well! Thank you Lily!
Such a helpful visualization, thank you very much!
Excellent! 2 simple actions that you can feel 👍🏼 Thank you
Thanks Lilly
Excellent lesson Lily!
This is the best advise I have ever received. Bringing in the left arm during the swing makes all the difference.

Very good video!! Thanks!!!
Thank you, this feels much better. I have been practicing dropping the club straight down to keep from coming over the top. Thanks for the video!!
OMG! This is the best tip ever. As a lefty, I’ve struggled with releasing the club and being right hand dominant. Problem solved. Love your videos❤
Danke!
Thanks!
You have a incredible ability to explain and show improvements in the great game of golf.
Thank you, Pro! Definitely an eye opener, which should stop casting - over the top. Brilliant

Great video. Does the same move apply to iron shots too?
Yes they are but you want to learn where the differences are between driver and irons. There are some key differences.
❤ going to put some work on this today!
Wrist rotation motion often called the “motorcycle drill”

Is this technique and vertical drop the same for irons?
North or South Korea?
👍
The Vertikal Drop also suitable for iron?🤔
I think the AI translation
3 fingers which one Lily?

This move brings the risk of getting the club too far behind you and then having to flip it through impact. Caution here!
It’s all about the feeling in the exercise. The execution automatically isn't too far behind due to the speed. Don´t worry ;-)

Sergio Garcia about that…😂
