Age is an asset in many aspects, but not to be in that position. He clearly has issues walking, talking, remembering… and of course there are many people at that age that can do even more than a younger person, but this is not the case.
He no longer has issues with walking. It took that broken foot a long time to heal because he is stubborn and won't stay off of it.
He was out jogging with Jill over the New Years vacation. He has always had issues with talking. That is his disability from childhood his needs to tread carefully with his words due to his stutter. (google it.) Memory loss comes from not cleaning out the daily dust in your banks during sleep. Physically he can no longer run backwards as fast as those who run forward, these days, but he works out and is fit.

I'm a registered nurse and I know very well the physical and mental ability and capacity an 80s, 70s, 60s and so on have in general, regardless their intellectual, their good health and their determination. For politicians who have spent many years in the game, there is no difference in terms of the experience of a 50s compared to a 80s, but the physical difference between these two is pronounced. The election campaign must be much harder for Joe Biden as compared to for someone much younger than him in the Democratic party. If JB not in the race, HB may not be harassed by the MAGA Republicans. It's not worth: the competition, the title, the perceived pride, the hopeful victory in defeating DT... The family is the utmost. Please!!!
