So fun fact about the BAR. It actually had a rate of fire selector switch that allowed you to se the weapon to either safe, slow rof, or fast rof. So having the rate of fire increase with the bipod deployed is actually historical.

fun fact- the ptrs-41 wasn’t ever meant to carry a scope. the recoil from the anti materiel rounds was so heavy that the scope would either fly off or completely lose zero
The world at war weapons always felt so satisfying to use, the sounds and animations they had were incredable, but if I had to say which faction had my fsvorite weapons it would be the Russians, I always loved using the Mosin Nagant with iron sights as I kinda felt like a conscript while using it, and the PPSH was just an LMG in the smg catagory, with it being like a mini MG42 even though that they already had a mini mg42, and the FG42 was like that both in game and in real life, plus the scope that it had was historically accurate. The Gewher 43 was my choice of Rifle because it has no capped fire rate, unlike the M1 Garand and M1 Carbine, which have a weird capped fire rate where it will sometimes skip shots, but I will say, the funnest time I had with a rifle was when I used a scoped M1 on the highest location in Nightfire. As for shotguns, they were good in zombies but not as much in multiplayer, the sounds were godly though. In zombies I always used the Double Barreled as that had more damage and fit well with my playstyle.
Great video as always. Although I would appreciate if you had the ranking number in like the upper left corner so it’s more cohesive where it falls in the ranking
Glad that you are doing this. Keep it up. Next up: MODERN WARFARE 2! (AKA. Jimmy praising the ACR and bullying the F2000). Also, who remembers YouAlwaysWin playing WAW zombies with the PPSH, the MP40, The Thompson, the BAR, and the Browning?

I always play with an appropriate loadout. M1A1 if I'm USMC, Arisaka of I'm Imperial, MG42 if I'm Wehrmacht and PPSh-41 if I'm Red Army. K:D doesn't matter anymore so just want to have fun lol
@jacobbaird3628 if I'm a German on a Stalingrad map I'll occasionally use a ppsh since their are historical accounts of both sides useing them, for japan it's always an arisaka with a bayonet, for the US its either a m1 garand with bayonet, or a Springfield with a bayonet or scope, the Russians was a dp28, ppsh, but I mainly used the mosin with a bayonet, Germans was mainly the stg with the flash hider and double tap, made it sound like a bb gun
Can't wait to see the rest of these! Love this series and appreciate the effort that goes into making it (grabbing footage, determining ranks etc.). Good work Chaos
You know what's funny? I hated the Springfield so much. I really enjoyed going with no scope on the smaller maps, and the Springfield was almost useless without that scope on it. Gimme my classic Mosin-Nagant with that sweet firing and bolt action sound 🤤
I’m a zombies player but I do play multi, I loved the Springfield in multi but when it was exclusively on verrückt it couldn’t 1 shot on round one to the body lmao
To be honest when i first heard of mp40 being op i used it as the main gun but after prestige i avoid using it because i get xp faster from doing other gun challenges

Eh... Cod4 had a extra year of relevance, because WaW was not well liked by a lot of the community at the time. The MP-40 basically ruined the game.

Agreed
You didn't talk about putting Juggernaut on the MP40.
The ultimate unholy union of overpowered.
MP40, dual mag and juggernaut, absolutely filthy, 2hks up close without sp too.
You could drop people hip firing at rifle range.

Old comment, but some of them were equipped with scopes purely for spotting tanks.

The type 99 at the close bottom? Really? After the SMGs, this was the dominant gun.

The Tommy became OP when it had a drum mag.
Stg44 in hard-core! Waw was also my favorite cod
Dude WaW MP is so forgotten imo. Literally all it was known for was "MP40 OP" . That's it.
To be fair its basically cod4 but in ww2
And jug but I guess that’s forgotten as well
The fg 42 is awesome. It ripped like a chainsaw and sounded great while doing so.
Everything about waw was golden. The atmosphere in multiplayer has never came close since and also has tbe most unique weapons.

The Arisoka was my favorite rifle especially with the iron sights
thank you for the type 100 love. best gun imo
Quick scoping with the mowing never fails to make me laugh 😂

In my opinion the trench should’ve been higher because there was really op strats you could do with the trench and martyrdom
As a zombies player primarily it hurts me to see Springfield at number 3 ifykyk 😂

Doesn't the Trench Gun hold 6 shells irl? Why couldn't they just do that? Could have made it a bit more useful

I mean, you call the bolt actions "snipers." That would kinda be incorrect, as you they were issued to many and were wide-spread during WW2.
