Very good rundown of the units. Word of caution to any potential buyers… Weblink is absolute cack! Pioneer shouldn’t have bothered to include it. Very temperamental operation. Most of the apps you can use with it are not worth the bother. The TH-cam app will sync to your account/s but it has a tendency to only play some videos, not all that you may have in your playlists. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of, so don’t be disappointed if you find it’s a useless function. There are ways of getting around the VIM but it’s not legal to do, so be careful. Other than that, the headunit are solid pieces of kit. I’ve got the Z3200, but I’m considering the top of the range one as they’ve come down in price now.
Very informative video, is their an upgrade pioneer version that can play dvd, cd , blue tooth and hard line stream Netflix and Disney with out connecting the radio to Wi-Fi from an iPhone ?
I’ve a Toyota verso 7 seater 2009 car, I’m looking to buy a new unit as my current stereo is on its way out and the cd is not coming out. Could you advise what connectors I would need for this model of car. Thanks x
Hi i Have x5200 dab in my a3 8p bose + connect2 set, i have 2 problems, first is that radio not show CD text from Audio CD, mp3, usb is ok but not Audio CD any idea why? And another thing is that volume goes down and up when listening on low volumes, its seems to be problem with GALA in bose sound systems but its piss me off, any idea? th-cam.com/users/shortslFupzRpizKU?feature=share
I also have the 5200 and had no luck getting it to display cd text so far. I can't believe this two slot radio with a big high-res screen doesn't support cd-text when the single slot deh-x8700dab I had in my old car was able to display cd-text on it's one-line segment display that was too dim to read on a sunny day anyway! 😤

What is the difference between these avh Z series radios and the avh 2500nex and DMH2600?(other than not having a dvd player)

How far does the screen come out? I want to put the 9200 in my cat but I think the gear stick will be in the way.
For the 5200, it says iPhone compatibility is only up to an iPhone 7. So it doesn't work with later phones? Thanks

It show's CD text form mp3 CD or USB but not form Audio CD
you need to disconnect the gala microphone
