The difference is she had to go out and gather everything and set it up herself (with Jordy) up until right before the party,. You can’t really do that when it’s your own wedding and paying a wedding planner to do it for you is so expensive.

When you host these parties, you go all out! Does the guest of honor help pay for all your expenses?? Flowers, custom cookies, all that food... It's got to be expensive on your end. This party alone had to cost AT LEAST $500. I wouldn't be surprised if it was $1K.

It just seem disproportionate that Michel seems to be footing the bill for all these hosting parties. To each his own, but at some point the feeling of being used will start to set in. A test is to NOT host for a couple months and see how many invitations are returned. That answer may be sadly surprising and telling of her friends. Point in case was the lack of a similarly elaborate bridal shower for HER from her friends.

She has literally put together all the furniture, did all the painting. Based on her income, I think it’s safe to say she is paying for most of their crap (house, furniture, repairs, ext.)
