The solution is clear - buy both! Plus a 232 just to be sure... 😜 On a more serious note, if you can demo both, then we'd recommend that first and foremost - if not, then go 242 if you want playful, and 252 is you want a FireCreeker!

Based on Wade Harrison’s review and comments he made to others in similar size/weight as myself, I demo’d the 252 and it’s going to be the perfect playful river runner for me as I prefer the stability/tracking of a larger boat over the constant input needed to keep a line w a smaller boat, yet it surfs and boofs great! Now if you can just get a few more 252 Rosella’s out to the PNW ASAP some friends and I would be ecstatic to part w our $ 😉
