- IN THIS VIDEO THE WHITE 49CC RUCKUS I BUILT FOR MATT AND MY BLACK RUCKUS GO OUT FOR A BEACH CRUISE SO I DECIDED TO RECORD IT AND DO A WALK AROUND OF HIS CLEAN BUILD, SORRY THE GOPRO MIC DIED SO ITS ONLY MUSIC AND RIDE FOOTAGE.

Very clean ruckus, should have kept mine, ton of dorbyworks parts, sold it, 20 yrs later, just ordered a ice bear 150 cc lol
I’m gonna keep the floor boards and factory lights on my build too. Just waiting on my wheels from the cnc shop. Still gotta hit up TRS for some misc bits...fuel line, brake switch, wheel spacer kit, guess I’m gonna need a plate relocater after seeing your buddies build. Great ride video.

Yeah our customers have to buy them from Norway or from the us army guys who bring them over there based in Germany
Yeah there was a us army base 15 miles from here, but it was closed 3 years ago. One day i find my ruckus, zoomer or so on...

Yeah it’s a torque monster. It’s like when you made the change from 49cc to 150. When you do the 171cc with cam and the right carb it’s a solid setup

Man i got a chuckus maddog gen4 but for some reason i keep liking the rucks, that white ruck looks clean. Cant believe thats still a GET motor doing almost 50mph i put an 80cc kit on my 49cc and does 45mph what do you recommend i shld do? Ordered a 20mm carb, i have mikuni pump oml plug wire haven't touched cvt yet nor put on a cam
Not too sure about those motors I know they are a little different the beat thing is a variator and weights to help with mph. I got that white one into the 50s last week with the friend of mine we are going to record it soon

Working on my build, how did you keep the original controls with adding the master brake reservoir??
You shave the oem controller where the brake lever was. If you google shaved ruckus controls you will see how it will look in images. I love how that comes out.

I'm wondering how much a build like this would cost. My friend is trying to get me to buy his ruckus for the super low because he's into harley's now and no longer has room for it. It's as stock as it gets, but I'd like to run a setup like this. I don't really ever go too far from my apartment and would like a fly way to get around the city that's a little easier than having to drive my truck everywhere. I would just prefer if it could get up to at least 50.

just started building mine. 1500-2000 will get you to a good point w/o rims.

Is that block off just a quick bolt on? Like do I just remove the two screws while doing an oil change and just bolt the new one on?
The par valve? If that’s what you mean the. Yes but it doesn’t touch the oil so you can do it whenever

What did you cut in regards to talking about the plastic and the seat?
Trimmed the plastic pieces where the two holes are under the nose of the seat. They come to a point on the underside and I had to cut them off
Do you have a link to the handlebars on the white bike?
Those are discontinued. If you email the ruck shop they might have a set left to sell you.

Can you still drive this stock at normal speeds if you’re a big guy? And by big i mean 250 big..
Usually if you’re above 220 it will do low to mid 30s full speed

No max ive seen is 62 and that is one person. Average is 52-55 for 49cc
