soo sooo soo happy this worked for me ! steps for people using windows! v 1. select a pack to download on the 2nd website (i download 4 packs at a time, the website will try to stop you, just spam click it. ALSO, do NOT delete the pack from the "My Drive" list on the website until it is finished downloading! if you do it will not work.) 2. you should get a zipped file named after the pack you just downloaded, extract the 2 folders from this .zip file and place it into a new folder (helps keep things organized) 3. move the EP/FP/GP file into your "The Sims 4" folder (where the Game, Support & _Installer files are) 4. open both Installer files (the one you downloaded AND the one in the TS4 folder) 5. click dlc, drag the EP/FP/GP file from the file you downloaded into the DLC file inside of the TS4 folder 6. open your game and enjoy your new packs!!!

This works. You just gotta follow the instructions closely. Thanks for the video :) I'm on EA play and Windows, and up to the second link, I: Used a dummy account and clicked on dlcs I wanted, copied, and then downloaded them. Once downloaded, I copied the downloaded dlc into my 'Sims 4' folder. The folder will usually be a sub folder to either an Origin folder or EA games folder...it may not be for everyone? So just find a way to access that folder by looking online. Then I clicked the downloaded dlc and inside, underneath _Installer, is the code looking folder (idk what you call it). I copied that folder and pasted it in the same folder as before, the 'Sims 4' folder. That's all I did. Just make sure your origin or ea is offline. Also, there are two sims 4 folders, don't use the one that has a mods, saves, screenshots etc. I'm not certain that that's the same for everyone though
@@karimamcintyre752 for me there was still a sims 4 folder under origin games even though i use the EA app. are you able to search in your files for the folder?
@@karimamcintyre752 I copied the packs into my old origin folder where all my other dlcs (which I purchased) were. In Local disk, Program files x86, origin games, the sims 4. For some reason, my ea play folder has nothing in it, but my origin folder is still there

It worked!!! The pack additions show up in CAS and in game but not on EA. I did the online and offline thing but it still doesn't show up. It still works so I'm not too bothered but thank you so so much. I spent way too much money buying 3 packs before this but now I have all the packs I want.

put the packs you’ve installed in ProgramFiles>Ea Games> Sims 4. and please make sure that after extracting the file, you place the Ep file with the installer together. but if you get more “EP’s” don’t put another installer folder inside
@@persolsims it's probably not showing up in ea because I don't have an installer file in the Sims 4 folder. I'll put one in and see it it changes that (EDIT: should I replace the installer file that the Sims 4 folder comes with, with one from the pack folders or does that not change anything?)
I use a Mac and OMG this actually works guys. It takes a bit of effort but just follow the steps and if anything is not working right just repeat the steps. I had trouble with the terminal issue, but I just repeated the steps and reread the directions again and it ended up working just fine!!!
HOLY SHIT THANK YOU!!! Ive been trying to work with the sims 4 updater for three weeks now trying to get it to work but kept running into a critical error. But i cant thank you enough for this it worked so quickly ❤❤❤
Awesome job getting this out there dude, most of these should have been updates or part of the game from the start anyway and its EA we're talking about, if we could play the game without sending them cash for the half-assed effort then that's brilliant. But you might want to privatise the video on a weekly to bi-weekly basis, EA and TH-cam slams hard on piracy tutorials
For those in Windows who downloaded the DLC unlocker v2 and tried to put the dlc file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, or in Local Disk (C:) > Programs (×86) and then didn't find the EA Games file, so maybe you put it in the Origin file instead. If the EA app said you had all the games but you couldn't play them, those might not be the right places. In my pc I had to go to Local Disk (C:) > Programs > EA Games > The Sims 4. I put everything there and it worked! P.S.: My computer isn't in English, but I think the names should be understandable.
I went thru local disk (C:) > program files > EA games, but there is no Sims 4 file. Straight up nothing. There's another folder called electronic arts in local disk, but that just leads to another folder called EA desktop, and going further gives me 2 folders called EA desktop and outdated EA desktop. After that it's files and folders I don't understand. I downloaded sims 4 thru steam, so I tried going through local disk (C:) > program files (×86) > steam > steamapps > common > the sims 4 by myself, and I... think....... this is where I should put them.........??????? But I don't know where to go from there. Idk if u would know, tho. I watched this vid when it it was posted for just 6 hours so I've basically been spending the past 3 days trying to work this out and failing miserably XD. Every comment I try to follow for windows either has me incredibly confused or missing a folder or something. IDK WAT TO DO.
For anyone struggling with the note at the top that says user limit exceeded, I just stayed logged in, and now and then throughout the day, I would press the button again and again and again. It took a few hours but eventually, it gave me a different notification at the top than the two alternatives I had been receiving about the user limit. I pressed the reload button after that and every pack I selected was ready to be downloaded.
@@meryemsonmez8518 unfortunately, I don't know how to share the packs. Everyone has to be on that website at the same time so you may only be able to do a few at a time; mine cut off a few of the packs I wanted to download at first. But after downloading the first few it became easier to continue downloading some of the rest. All I can say is patience :(
If your on Mac and you’ve downloaded all the packs into the correct folder but they aren’t showing up in the game this is what worked for me bc I had the same issue: Basically you wanna delete origin and sims 4 but first I would copy/save your Electronic Arts folder to a different location (I just saved mine on my desktop and renamed it “electronic arts old”) then remove your mods out of your mods folder in that old folder and save them to a different folder on your desktop. Then delete orgin and sims, also make sure you search your Mac for the “sims 4 packs” folder and delete that as well. delete everything off your folder that has to do with orgin or sims 4. Then redownload orgin and sims 4 and rerun the dlc unlocker (I didn’t delete the dlc unlocker or redownload the dlcs from the website). When I opened the sims before reruning the dlc unlocker my old saved file was still there. But now you can COPY AND PASTE (don’t drag and drop) the dlcs into the “sims 4 packs” folder and still make sure your offline when opening the game. It’s up to you if you want to move all your mods and cc back into your new ea folder but I’ve heard that mods and ccs can sometimes break your game and might’ve been the reason you couldn’t see your dlcs
I literally had no idea this existed thank you bestieeee For anyone using windows and u have ea and steam I just figured out how to do it but idk how to do it if u only have ea Follow everything he did up until 6:18 but with the ea unlocker (the first one that pops up when clicking the first link). If u are confused since hes using the second one u can also follow the directions the website gives which tells u how to download the unlocker So after downloading the dlc u want go into steam then hover over the "library" part and go to "downloads" after that press the settings button in the corner then press the "steam library folders" which should bring a storage pop up of all of your steam games Press the ... in the corner and then press "browse folder" that should open up a files folder called "steam apps" Once you are in the folder open up the "common" folder and then go to The Sims4 folder so now you should take the dlc folder you downloaded which should have 2 folders one with it a __P folder (EP, SP, GP, or FP) and a __Installer folder Put the "EP __ " folder (whichever one it is im using ep cus i downloaded a expansion pack) directly into the sims4 folder you will see if u have other dlc that there will be other EP folders that look similar After that go through the "Installer" folder at the top of the sims4 folder. Then through the "DLC" Folder After this again if you've gotten DLC before there should see EP folders in it Now open the "__installer" folder that you downloaded. Go into DLC and then drag the EP folder into the DLC folder Press play through Steam and then it should work

@@leila-cr5xn I'm so confused on the tutorial on the website it says "Copy "EP", "FP", "GP" and "SP" folders from the ZIP file opened in step 1 to the folder opened in step 2", but when I download the packs it just says like E01, E02 etc... Did this happen to you?? I can't see them in game
If you don't see mods in game then try running the "add fake entitlements.command" in the origin dlc unlocker after adding packs to "the sims 4 packs" folder. You need to follow the steps that terminal tells you. Then open the game in offline mode. It worked for me.

So since EA is making us Mac users switch to the EA App rather than use Origin and this way won’t work anymore, are you able to do a tutorial and explain the new way which anadius has posted on his website? It’s under EA DLC Unlocker for Mac (Mac only; EA app only).
I've heard stories of people who've pirated Sims 4 packs and their internet providers caught on, sending them emails to delete the pirated packs. Has this ever happened to you with this way of getting the packs?
You can actually get banned by EA from the servers and won’t be able to use gallery and things. I don’t know if your ISP will really care. Worst case scenario you can actually go to jail for this but unlikely.

I followed the terminal directions, but the dlcs wont show up in my game :( i've only downloaded two packs and it says i own them all...but even the ones i downloaded aren't available in my game. i redownloaded the dlc unlocker twice to make sure nothing went wrong and followed all the steps, but nothing has worked, any advice? thank you so much for this tut!
hm that’s really weird. if you’re on windows make sure that you’ve put the ep files in Programx86/OriginGames/Sims4. if you’re on mac then the users/sims4 packs should work. also pls make sure that the files are in the right place, that should be the only reason why it says you own all the packs. you would know you have the packs once you boot up the sims 4 and it will show you! pls tell me if this helps

OMG Y'ALL LITERALLY i was trying to figure this out and I am a new sims player. My game decided to update on my first day of having it and I had no idea what was going on. All I had to do was open the addfakecommand and restart the unlocker :DDDD

@@persolsims I'm on windows ea thank you for responding! I found the issue I downloaded the ea installer before I undownloaded origin and switched to the ea app so all I had to do was undownload it and then re-download it again and now everything works thank you so much!
okay guys yes this works!! I was doing at wrong at first and I was so confused so my problem was I followed every step correctly but I kept messing up at the "add fake entitlements.command" I kept copy and pasting stuff all I had to do was press the number 2 and then it finally worked ( I did this on a 2017 MacBook Air btw) basically what im saying is if u get stressed out js calm down and focus bc it so simple but can be yet so complicated

Omg I never comment, but this deserves video deserves it! Originally I thought it wouldn't work because I had the EA app instead of Origin but it does! If it isn't working before you give up CHECK THE COMMENTS someone probably has the thing your doing wrong fixed. The Dlcs aren't working, ive dowloaded them and put them in the same place you did but it's not working. I made sure origin was closed and offline before putting them in the sims 4 folder. I also deleted and redownloaded the dlc Unlocker and done everything again but it still doesn't show up in the game

Is there any way to do it through the EA app launcher? I don't have origin anymore due to the fact that EA was basically holding a gun to my head a force me to uninstall origin and install the EA app to replace it. (Windows 10 in case if you were wondering) Like I'm dead serious when i say forced, i close and reopened origin multiple times and I eventually caved in because it wouldnt let me play the Sims or any of my other games

I was just recently trying this and at first I the packs weren’t showing up but I deleted dlc unlocker and reinstalled it and I was able to see the packs. However everytime I try to copy them to my drive it keeps giving me an error

i was able to download the packs and it showed up in my game, but when i go on CAS and in the worlds with the expansion packs, there is a glitch and not all the items shows up from the packs! someone help

In Local disk, Program files x86, origin games, the sims 4.
For some reason, my ea play folder has nothing in it, but my origin folder is still there
@@cuckoos_ I think I have the same problem, but I started playing sims 4 after origin was replaced, so I don't think I can get it to work. Could something in the steam files help? I downloaded the sims from there.

It worked!!! The pack additions show up in CAS and in game but not on EA. I did the online and offline thing but it still doesn't show up. It still works so I'm not too bothered but thank you so so much. I spent way too much money buying 3 packs before this but now I have all the packs I want.

Yes! that means the packs aren’t in the right location
put the packs you’ve installed in ProgramFiles>Ea Games> Sims 4. and please make sure that after extracting the file, you place the Ep file with the installer together. but if you get more “EP’s” don’t put another installer folder inside
@@persolsims it's probably not showing up in ea because I don't have an installer file in the Sims 4 folder. I'll put one in and see it it changes that (EDIT: should I replace the installer file that the Sims 4 folder comes with, with one from the pack folders or does that not change anything?)
I use a Mac and OMG this actually works guys. It takes a bit of effort but just follow the steps and if anything is not working right just repeat the steps. I had trouble with the terminal issue, but I just repeated the steps and reread the directions again and it ended up working just fine!!!
I have a Mac as well but when I do the terminal step mine just says that origin is already fixed so im confused could you help me out a bit?

For those in Windows who downloaded the DLC unlocker v2 and tried to put the dlc file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, or in Local Disk (C:) > Programs (×86) and then didn't find the EA Games file, so maybe you put it in the Origin file instead. If the EA app said you had all the games but you couldn't play them, those might not be the right places.
In my pc I had to go to Local Disk (C:) > Programs > EA Games > The Sims 4. I put everything there and it worked!
P.S.: My computer isn't in English, but I think the names should be understandable.
would u put it in the sim4 folder where the game and support is or outside the folder

I went thru local disk (C:) > program files > EA games, but there is no Sims 4 file. Straight up nothing. There's another folder called electronic arts in local disk, but that just leads to another folder called EA desktop, and going further gives me 2 folders called EA desktop and outdated EA desktop. After that it's files and folders I don't understand.
I downloaded sims 4 thru steam, so I tried going through local disk (C:) > program files (×86) > steam > steamapps > common > the sims 4 by myself, and I... think....... this is where I should put them.........??????? But I don't know where to go from there. Idk if u would know, tho.
I watched this vid when it it was posted for just 6 hours so I've basically been spending the past 3 days trying to work this out and failing miserably XD. Every comment I try to follow for windows either has me incredibly confused or missing a folder or something. IDK WAT TO DO.
For anyone struggling with the note at the top that says user limit exceeded, I just stayed logged in, and now and then throughout the day, I would press the button again and again and again. It took a few hours but eventually, it gave me a different notification at the top than the two alternatives I had been receiving about the user limit. I pressed the reload button after that and every pack I selected was ready to be downloaded.

@@meryemsonmez8518 unfortunately, I don't know how to share the packs. Everyone has to be on that website at the same time so you may only be able to do a few at a time; mine cut off a few of the packs I wanted to download at first. But after downloading the first few it became easier to continue downloading some of the rest. All I can say is patience :(
If your on Mac and you’ve downloaded all the packs into the correct folder but they aren’t showing up in the game this is what worked for me bc I had the same issue:
Basically you wanna delete origin and sims 4 but first I would copy/save your Electronic Arts folder to a different location (I just saved mine on my desktop and renamed it “electronic arts old”) then remove your mods out of your mods folder in that old folder and save them to a different folder on your desktop. Then delete orgin and sims, also make sure you search your Mac for the “sims 4 packs” folder and delete that as well. delete everything off your folder that has to do with orgin or sims 4. Then redownload orgin and sims 4 and rerun the dlc unlocker (I didn’t delete the dlc unlocker or redownload the dlcs from the website). When I opened the sims before reruning the dlc unlocker my old saved file was still there. But now you can COPY AND PASTE (don’t drag and drop) the dlcs into the “sims 4 packs” folder and still make sure your offline when opening the game. It’s up to you if you want to move all your mods and cc back into your new ea folder but I’ve heard that mods and ccs can sometimes break your game and might’ve been the reason you couldn’t see your dlcs
I also put the DLCs into my sims 4 pack folders one at a time and opened the game up offline just to ensure the packs were there
I tried this and my packs still won't work, any tips?

For anyone using windows and u have ea and steam I just figured out how to do it but idk how to do it if u only have ea
Follow everything he did up until 6:18 but with the ea unlocker (the first one that pops up when clicking the first link). If u are confused since hes using the second one u can also follow the directions the website gives which tells u how to download the unlocker
So after downloading the dlc u want go into steam then hover over the "library" part and go to "downloads"
after that press the settings button in the corner
then press the "steam library folders" which should bring a storage pop up of all of your steam games
Press the ... in the corner and then press "browse folder" that should open up a files folder called "steam apps"
Once you are in the folder open up the "common" folder and then go to The Sims4 folder
so now you should take the dlc folder you downloaded which should have 2 folders one with it a __P folder (EP, SP, GP, or FP) and a __Installer folder
Put the "EP __ " folder (whichever one it is im using ep cus i downloaded a expansion pack) directly into the sims4 folder you will see if u have other dlc that there will be other EP folders that look similar
After that go through the "Installer" folder at the top of the sims4 folder. Then through the "DLC" Folder
After this again if you've gotten DLC before there should see EP folders in it
Now open the "__installer" folder that you downloaded. Go into DLC and then drag the EP folder into the DLC folder
Press play through Steam and then it should work
This was my case but my steam just acted crazy i had to uninstall it 😭😭

If you don't see mods in game then try running the "add fake entitlements.command" in the origin dlc unlocker after adding packs to "the sims 4 packs" folder. You need to follow the steps that terminal tells you. Then open the game in offline mode. It worked for me.

So since EA is making us Mac users switch to the EA App rather than use Origin and this way won’t work anymore, are you able to do a tutorial and explain the new way which anadius has posted on his website? It’s under EA DLC Unlocker for Mac (Mac only; EA app only).

I've heard stories of people who've pirated Sims 4 packs and their internet providers caught on, sending them emails to delete the pirated packs. Has this ever happened to you with this way of getting the packs?

I followed the terminal directions, but the dlcs wont show up in my game :( i've only downloaded two packs and it says i own them all...but even the ones i downloaded aren't available in my game. i redownloaded the dlc unlocker twice to make sure nothing went wrong and followed all the steps, but nothing has worked, any advice? thank you so much for this tut!
hm that’s really weird. if you’re on windows make sure that you’ve put the ep files in Programx86/OriginGames/Sims4. if you’re on mac then the users/sims4 packs should work. also pls make sure that the files are in the right place, that should be the only reason why it says you own all the packs. you would know you have the packs once you boot up the sims 4 and it will show you! pls tell me if this helps

OMG Y'ALL LITERALLY i was trying to figure this out and I am a new sims player. My game decided to update on my first day of having it and I had no idea what was going on. All I had to do was open the addfakecommand and restart the unlocker :DDDD

okay guys yes this works!! I was doing at wrong at first and I was so confused so my problem was I followed every step correctly but I kept messing up at the "add fake entitlements.command" I kept copy and pasting stuff all I had to do was press the number 2 and then it finally worked ( I did this on a 2017 MacBook Air btw) basically what im saying is if u get stressed out js calm down and focus bc it so simple but can be yet so complicated

Omg I never comment, but this deserves video deserves it! Originally I thought it wouldn't work because I had the EA app instead of Origin but it does! If it isn't working before you give up CHECK THE COMMENTS someone probably has the thing your doing wrong fixed. Also take out your mods folder just to make sure its not one of your mods that's not letting you open sims4(This may or may not be from my own experience I'm dumb haha) Thank you for this video I really appreciate it when I saw the pack come up I screamed, you're amazing!

The Dlcs aren't working, ive dowloaded them and put them in the same place you did but it's not working. I made sure origin was closed and offline before putting them in the sims 4 folder. I also deleted and redownloaded the dlc Unlocker and done everything again but it still doesn't show up in the game

Is there any way to do it through the EA app launcher? I don't have origin anymore due to the fact that EA was basically holding a gun to my head a force me to uninstall origin and install the EA app to replace it. (Windows 10 in case if you were wondering)
Like I'm dead serious when i say forced, i close and reopened origin multiple times and I eventually caved in because it wouldnt let me play the Sims or any of my other games

I have a problem with the DLC Unlocker, I do all the steps and it says "No such file or directory
Couldn't find entitlement files, you were supposed to start the game!" and I did start the game and EA app (it was online) and then I closed it. I've tried doing this process in different ways and it never works :( . I have a Mac, the original game and the EA app and I downloaded the version 1. Please help 🥺 thank you
This the only way I play this game but so many judge people who play this way but this game and all the dlc is expensive and not everyone can afford to pay for it I'm glad that this is available for people

I’m saving this for when I get the sims on laptop. I did not understand much said in this video (probably cause I don’t have a laptop), but it seems like it really worked for people. Also, is there any viruses or maybe any bugs that come with this?

I was just recently trying this and at first I the packs weren’t showing up but I deleted dlc unlocker and reinstalled it and I was able to see the packs. However everytime I try to copy them to my drive it keeps giving me an error

i was able to download the packs and it showed up in my game, but when i go on CAS and in the worlds with the expansion packs, there is a glitch and not all the items shows up from the packs! someone help
