I was glad that I played elyos first haha. It has more of the Aion theme to it. Music/layout ect. Asmo side has nice areas but elyos is more nostalgic

The fact that this game still looks good shows that something went wrong. There is no ambition, everything is made for a mainstream mass without real care.
Look at Blue Protocol. Do quests, do the raids. Nothing special, graphics is barely batter and it's more than a decade newer.
Well to be fair, this did tank our PCs back in the day, although mainly due to the engine it used.
But man I'm glad it did, pushing our PCs to their limit means it holds up so well today and looks exactly how I remember it, no rose tinted glasses needed. It just actually is that pretty.
True, as a 90s born myself we simply have to admit that the developers born in the 70s simply were smarter. Once companies started to throw out the old employees and replace them with 80s, 90s and Zoomers it went to sht. Also Gaming has attracted too many normies because gaming has been pusjed into mainstream. 2009 you were a nerd for playing MMOs and my guilds were full of metalheads and fantasy freaks. Today gaming attracts gangster rap morons and other low iq normies and these people also get jobs in the area. Best example is prob blizz when they were bought, where they started to actively force out 70s born metalhead employees to make place for lgbtq and the race agenda - completely destroyed the company.
Aion had a team of dedicated Artists with a vision and I can thank them forever for what they have achieved.

That song sounds like it's from an officially released OST? Where does this play in-game? I've heard parts of it play randomly in some zones, but not the entire thing as the song you mentioned.
